부분 촬영 시 전신에 인가되는 RF 차단을 위한 방호복에 관한 연구 (An effectiveness of radio frequency(RF) shielding fibers and customized RF protective clothing applied to the whole body in partial area imaging working as a RF absorber)

  • MRI는 부분 영역을 자세히 영상화하는 검사임에도 인체에 위해한 RF를 전신에 주고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위해 저자들은 RF차단 방호복을 자제제작하여 적용한 결과 적용 전보다 적용 후가 95% 이상 RF를 차단하였다. 따라서 MRI 검사 시 본 연구의 방호복이 인체의 위해를 줄일 수 있는 최적의 대안임을 알 수 있다.

폭발법에 의해 합성된 나노 다이아몬드의 연소특성 (Combustion characteristics of nanodiamond synthesized by detonation)

  • 본 논문에서는 폭발법에 의해 합성된 나노다이아몬드의 열분해 및 연소특성에 대해 조사하였다. 나노 다이아몬드의 열분해 및 연소는 열중량 분석장치를 이용하여 측정하였으며, 소성된 나노다이아몬드의 표면 및 결합구조는 XRD, FT-IR, SEM-EDAX를 이용하여 측정하였다. 열분해 조건에서 나노다이아몬드는 $105{\sim}210^{\circ}C$$400^{\circ}C$ 부근에서 2중 피크가 나타난다. 또한 연소분위기하에서는 $420^{\circ}C$$490^{\circ}C$에서 2중 피크가 나타난다.

  • The facilities of exhibition and collection for cultural properties is affected by environmental pollution. In order to accumulate a store of basic data, we was investigated eight points(three points at exhibition room and five points at collection room) at four institutes, from December 2000 to March 2001.As a result of investigation, the temperature of A-Exhibition room measured low because of don’t moved HVAC(Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning) System, B Exhibition room is dry for the effect of air-conditioner and the air pollutants concentration of C-Exhibition room is high for the kind of an exhibition room. The air-condition was varied within the open period. The air pollutants concentration of A-Collection room is measured high because the air-pollutants is generated in a new buildings and the air pollutants concentration of C-1 & C-2-Collection room is high for the kind of an collection room. It is necessary to ventilate sufficiently.

  • By irradiating photoresist on Si or glass with $Ar^+$ (${\lambda}$=514 nm, CW) and Nd:YAG (${\lambda}$=266 and 532nm, pulse) laser beam, the photoresist was etched masklessly in air. Using a fourth harmonic Nd:YAG laser beam, the etching threshold of energy fluence was $25\;J/cm^2$ and the damage of substrate was appeared over $40\;J/cm^2$.

  • Diversities of Korean species belonging to the genus Volvariella have been studied through forty five dried specimens collected throughout the Korean peninsula for 28 years, from 1972 to 2000, and preserved in NIAST's herbarium. We have found one unrecorded species of the genus Volvariella in Korea: V. villosavolva(Lloyd) Sing, Stirp Taylori Korean common names were designated. Ten species of the genus Volvariella including the recorded Korean species of Volvariella have been identified and the keys to the species were constructed.

Heat Transfer Characteristics in a Cylindrical Duct Packed with Solid Spheres

  • The present paper investigates the heat transfer characteristics in a cylinder packed with porous medium of solid spheres for various parameters such as mass flow rate, sphere diameter, length of the porous medium, and gas temperatures. Pressures and temperatures at the inlet and outlet regions were measured by using static pressure gages and R-type thermocouples. The modified relationship based on the Ergun equation is suggested for the estimation of pressure drops. In addition, the useful empirical correlation for thermal efficiency is obtained in the current study. Thermal efficiency is expressed in terms of non-dimensional time, sphere diameter, porosity, and pressure drops. It is also found that the pressure drop through the cylinder becomes larger as the gas temperature does higher at the inlet region, whereas it substantially decreases when the inlet flow rate decreases.
