The usage of emoticons used in the online environment continues to increase, and also the market for emoticons is growing rapidly. Emoticons go beyond simply conveying the meaning of a message and play various roles such as smooth communication, pursuit of fun, and intimacy. In this study, we first identify the factors that motivate users to use emoticons in an online messenger service, and then determine whether the derived factors have a significant effect on emoticon usage. Furthermore, based on Regulatory Focus Theory, we will distinguish between the group of promotion focus and the group of prevention focus to see how the influence of motives on emoticon usage differs.

Recently, VoIP technology is widely used in our daily life. Even VoIP has become a technology that can be easily accessed from services such as home phone as well as KakaoTalk.[1] Most of these Internet telephones use the RTP protocol. However, there is a vulnerability that the audio data of users can be intercepted through packet sniffing in the RTP protocol. So we want to create a tool to check the security level of a VoIP network using the RTP protocol. To do so, we capture data packet from and to these VoIP networks. For this purpose, we first configure a virtual VoIP network using Raspberry Pi and show the security vulnerability by applying our developed sniffing tool to the VoIP network. We will then analyze the captured packets and extract meaningful information from the analyzed data using the Google Speech API. Finally, we will address the causes of these vulnerabilities and possible solutions to address them.

최근 스마트폰이 대중화되면서 SNS에서 아이콘의 사용성은 점점 높아지고 있다. SNS 아이콘은 다양하게 진화되고 있으나, 동일한 의미를 제공하지 못한 채 혼란을 일으키고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 아이콘의 커뮤니케이션 의미에 따른 유형을 분류 제시하고 이러한 현 사용의 문제점을 발견하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. SNS에서 아이콘은 강한 의사전달력이란 속성을 가지고 그 역할이 중요하게 부각되고 있으나 효과적으로 의미를 전달하지 못하는 부분의 문제점을 해결하고자, 다양한 SNS에서 같은 의미에 다른 표현 방식의 아이콘을 추출한 후, 설문조사와 인터뷰를 통해 어떤 아이콘이 가장 효과적으로 의미 전달을 할 수 있는지 고찰해 보았다. 그 결과, SNS에서 사용되는 아이콘은 보편적, 중의적, 상충적, 브랜드 4가지 유형으로 요약되었으며, 두세 가지 유형으로 공통으로 속하는 아이콘도 있었다. 본 연구결과 아이콘의 디자인 시 아이콘 유형이 표준화에 대한 추가 연구 필요성을 제안한다.

VoIP technology is a technology for exchanging voice or video data through IP network. Various protocols are used for this technique, in particular, RTP(Real-time Transport Protocol) protocol is used to exchange voice data. In recent years, with the development of communication technology, there has been an increasing tendency of services such as "Kakao Voice Talk" to exchange voice and video data through IP network. Most of these services provide a service with security guarantee by a user authentication process and an encryption process. However, RTP protocol does not require encryption when transmitting data. Therefore, there is an exposition risk in the voice data using RTP protocol. We will present the risk of the situation where packets are sniffed in VoIP(Voice over IP) communication using RTP protocol. To this end, we configured a VoIP telephone network, applied our own sniffing tool, and analyzed the sniffed packets to show the risk that users' data could be exposed unprotected.

수년간 스마트폰, 패드 등 모바일 단말의 증가와 P2P, mVoIP, IPTV, Kakao Talk 등 신규 서비스들의 등장 및 이용으로 트래픽이 급증하고 있다. DPI방식의 장비들은 패킷을 분석하고 이를 통해 특정 사용자나 서비스에 대한 제어가 가능하다. 최근 많은 통신사들은 서비스 및 트래픽 관리를 위해 DPI 시스템을 도입하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 DPI 기술과 장비들에 관하여 살펴보고 관련 장비의 성능측정을 위한 메트릭에 대하여 살펴보기로 한다.

In this study, keywords from representative online portal sites such as Naver, Google, and Youtube were collected based on text mining analysis technique using Textom to check the changes in metqaverse after COVID-19. before Corona, it was confirmed that social media platforms such as Kakao Talk, Facebook, and Twitter were mentioned, and among the four metaverse, consumer awareness was still concentrated in the field of life logging. However, after Corona, keywords from Roblox, Fortnite, and Geppetto appeared, and keywords such as Universe, Space, Meta, and the world appeared, so Metaverse was recognized as a virtual world. As a result, it was confirmed that consumer perception changed from the life logging of Metaverse to the mirror world. Third, keywords such as cryptocurrency, cryptocurrency, coin, and exchange appeared before Corona, and the word frequency ranking for blockchain, which is an underlying technology, was high, but after Corona, the word frequency ranking fell significantly as mentioned above.

현재 영어 기반의 기술 팩트체크 서비스는 다양하지만 한국 기반 팩트체크 서비스는 비기술적(언론인 등 전문가의 교차 검증을 통한 팩트체크)이 주를 이루고 있으며, 기술 팩트체크 서비스가 많이 시행되지 않고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기술적인 요소와 비기술적인 요소의 서비스를 함께 사용할 때 허위 정보를 가장 정확하게 식별할 수 있기 때문에 한국어 기반의 자연어 처리 기술을 이용한 팩트체킹 서비스를 제안한다.

본 논문에서는 웹 크롤링을 통한 개인 맞춤형 정보제공 애플리케이션에 관해 연구하였다. 본 서비스는 Java의 Jsoup 라이브러리를 이용해서 웹 크롤링(Web Crawling)한 데이터를 MySQL에 저장한다. 이를 통해 사용자가 지정한 키워드를 필터링하여 사용자에게 정보를 제공한다. 예를 들어 사용자가 지정한 키워드 관련 공지 사항이 업데이트되면 구현한 앱 내에서 확인 가능하며, KakaoTalk 알림톡을 통해서도 업데이트된 정보를 실시간으로 전송받는 서비스를 구현하였다.

Purpose: This study develops a chatbot for school violence prevention (C-SVP) among elementary school students. Methods: Among the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) models, ADD phases were applied to develop a C-SVP. Students' learning needs were identified by constructing content with a design that attracted their attention. Subsequently, a formative evaluation was conducted on the developed C-SVP to test its applicability by ten elementary school students targeting the 5th and 6th grades. Results: The chatbot was designed using KakaoTalk and named "School Guardian Angel." The formative evaluation revealed that the developed C-SVP was easily accessible and useful for elementary school students. Conclusion: The developed C-SVP is expected to be effective in preventing violence among elementary school students. However, further research involving children of various age groups is required.

Background: This study summarizes the experience of operating a 'Medical Humanities' course, which was taught remotely to maintain activities and discussions at medical schools in Daegu, Korea during the sudden and unexpected coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Methods: The subjects of this study were 73 first- and 79 second-grade medical students who took the medical humanities (1) and (2) courses among first- and second-grade students of Yeungnam University College of Medicine in 2020. Of the 152 students who agreed to the online survey, 123 completed the survey. Self-, environmental, and program evaluations were conducted on the study subjects, and differences according to grade and gender were analyzed. Results: As a result of the study, a significant difference between self-evaluation and environmental evaluation was confirmed. Self-evaluation was determined to be higher in the first grade than in the second grade. The environmental evaluation showed that male students were more satisfied than female students and students generally had difficulties in the classroom environment. Of the applications used in class, the highest satisfaction was observed with KakaoTalk (Kakao Corp.) and Zoom (Zoom Video Communications Inc.). At the end of COVID-19, the students preferred online classes. Conclusion: If the learning environment for online classes is well prepared and systematic provisions are made, such as class operations that are suitable for the subject, effective education and learning can be achieved by taking advantage of both face-to-face and online classes.
