The purpose of this study was to provide basic information requisite in the new sizing system for gloves. KS glove standards' size dimensions, size designation and labeling systems were analyzed. Also, KS glove standards' control sizes were compared to the anthropometric data of 824 Korean adults taken in the previous study. As well, the ISO hand size system was also compared to the anthropometric data of the previous study according to frequency tables of hand length and hand circumference. The size dimensions showed differences among KS standards and there was no size designation and labeling systems existed in KS standards. Among KS glove size systems, protective rubber gloves for radioactive contamination and surgical rubber gloves' size which followed ISO system were accurately indicate the hand size of the person a glove is intended to fit. ISO glove sizing system comprised the control dimensions of hand length and hand circumference. The coverage of ISO size A was 84.8% which was highest among ISO size A. B, C. And in hand circumference 178, 191, 203, 216mm showed the frequencies above 3% and in hand length 167, 175. 183, 191, 199mm showed the frequencies above 3%.

한국스티로폴공업협동조합 소속 단열재 생산업체에서는 기존의 KS규격(국가표준)에서 정하는 단열기준보다 더 높은 단열기준의 단체표준 규격을 제정하고, 조합의 단체표준규격을 통과한 제품에만 공동으로 정한 상표를 부착토록 하는 공동상표제도 시행을 위해 금년 11월말까지 설비보완 및 인증심사등을 완료하여 늦어도 2004년 1월부터 한단계 높은 단열재를 생산 보급할 예정이다

건설현장의 자재는 종류가 다양하기 때문에 이를 관리하기란 쉬운 일이 아니다. 보온재 또한 크기와 모양이 비슷하기 때문에 복잡하고 다양한 배관작업을 수행하는 우리 기계설비건설업체 공사현장에서는 규격이 다른 보온재를 설치하여 금전적 손실로 이어질 위험이 크다. 이에 따라 이번호에 KS인증 표시기준을 준수하는 발포 폴리에틸렌 보온재의 제품인증 표시 확인 방법에 대해 알아본다.

The purposes of this study are to investigate the conformity of Korean Standards(KS) according to agreement on WTO/TBT, and to propose systematic frameworks of preparation, adoption, and application for KS in our enterprises. Significant changes in this establishment, revision, and abrogation include the following divisions; i) statistics-vocabulary and symbols, ii) Shewhart control chart, iii) statistical interpretation of data, iv) sampling procedures for inspection by attributes, v) sequential sampling plans for inspection.

There are two kinds of method to calculate the equivalent friction coefficients at V groove. One is to consider the firction in radial direction. The other is to neglect the friection in radial direction. The values calculated from the two methods is different of which ratio is in the range from two times to five times. So it is necessary to study which is correct in the view of force equilibrium and machine design.
