  • Recently, the interoperability has become more important to enhance the net-centric capabilities of the warfighter. DITA (Defense Information Technical stAndard) is the set of IT standards for improving interoperability, scalability, effectiveness, and efficiency. In this paper, we analyzed the standardizing process to derive the selection criteria and structurized the derived selection criteria using the KJ (Kawakita Jiro) method. Finally, we developed an evaluation model for selecting a standard for DITA using AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process). As a result, we present eight selection criteria (maintainability, trend, stability, portability, effect of other standard, constraint of the network, and applicability to the systems). We also applied some examples that several IT standards to our selection model for validating the model. We expect our model to help to decide objectively whether the new standard can be listed in DITA.

  • The aims of this study is to suggest how the port specialists think the priority of container feeder port development in Korea. To illustrate the ideas regarding a container feeder port development, 56 detailed attributes were identified both from the previous studies and from brainstorming port professionals. And these were grouped into 5 criteria by 'KJ method' and made into 4 levels hierarchy structure. AHP technique identifies the relative weights of each levels and trends of the preference of port specialists from 6 alternatives. As a result, a feeder port development priority in Korea has been proposed.

  • With the rapid development of the Internet and information technology, a company that deals with personal information does not have proper action to protect personal privacy and not take measures for the safe handling and management of personal information. It generates the case to abuse of personal information occurring frequently. In order to focus the effort to reduce damage and protect the privacy of personal information entity and enhance privacy laws based on the connection method and the processing of personal information, Korea encourages a company to follow regulation by providing certain criteria. However, in the case of items of measures standard of safety of personal information such as priority applicable criteria in accordance with the importance of itemized characteristics and the company of each individual information processing is not taken into account, and there are some difficulties to execute. Therefore, we derive criteria by law and reviewing existing literature related, the details of the measures standard of safety of personal information in this study and generate a hierarchical structure by using the KJ method for layering and quantification of the evaluation in integration of the reference item similar and the grouping. Accordingly, the weights calculated experts subject using the AHP method hierarchical structures generated in this manner, it is an object of the proposed priority for privacy and efficient more rational enterprise.

  • The purpose of this study is to draw the improvement plan through the analysis of problems of main stretchers that are being used by the 119 EMS. In order to find out the problems, we used the literature review and analysis, survey questionnaire and we also made full use of KJ method (Kawakita Jiro method, affinity diagram), graph method, and priority matrix method to produce the improvement indicators. The problems of main stretchers are summarized as follows. they are being recognized as part of the emergency vehicle, they have the imperfection of performance verification criteria, and they cause the injuries of paramedics and patients accidents in operation. The indicators such as the ease of operation, the high performance, the multi-function, the driving performance, the durability and the lightweight, was produced to improve the problems. The results of the interconnection analysis and the applying priority matrix method on the indicators are the ease of operation ${\rightarrow}$ the multi-function ${\rightarrow}$ the driving performance ${\rightarrow}$ the high performance ${\rightarrow}$ the durability and the lightweight in order of importance.
