Lynch syndrome is the most common inherited colon cancer syndrome. Patients with Lynch syndrome develop a range of cancers including colorectal cancer (CRC) and carry a mutation on one of the mismatched repair (MMR) genes. Although CRC usually occurs after the fourth decade in patients with Lynch syndrome harboring a heterozygous MMR gene mutation, it can occur in children with Lynch syndrome who have a compound heterozygous or homozygous MMR gene mutation. We report a case of CRC in a 13-year-old patient with Lynch syndrome and congenital heart disease. This patient had a heterozygous mutation in MLH1 (an MMR gene), but no compound MMR gene defects, and a K-RAS somatic mutation in the cancer cells.

본 연구는 미호천의 홍수위 안정성 검토를 위하여 HEC-HMS를 이용해 첨두홍수량을 산정하였다. HEC-RAS를 적용하여 200년빈도의 홍수량에 대해 홍수위를 검토 하였다. 홍수위 분석 결과는 대체척으로 유역의 상류구간은 안전성을 확보하였으나 병천천 합류후 하류구간의 2지점은 위험단면으로 평가 되었다.

This paper describes the remote monitoring & diagnosis system of tower parking facilities. This system consists of central station, monitoring equipments and parking system control panel. The central station is developed under client/server architecture, and the monitoring systems are connected to central station by LAN using RAS constructed PSTN. This system offers real-time fault detection and data acquisition of tower parking system.

We propose a novel sensing circuit for 2T-2MTJ MRAM that can be used for high speed synchronous operation. Proposed bit-line sense amplifier detects small voltage difference in bit-lines and develops it into rail-to-rail swing while maintaining small voltage difference on TMR cells. It is small enough to fit into each column that the whole data array on selected word line are activated as in DRAMs for high-speed read-out by changing column addresses only. We designed a 256Kb read-only MRAM in a $0.35\mu\textrm{m}$ logic technology to verify the new sensing scheme. Simulation result shows a 25ns RAS access time and a cycle time shorter than 10 ns.

멸치액젓의 품질 및 위생적 안정성 유지, 그리고 장기저장 중의 저장성 향상을 위해 멸치액젓을 레토르트 식품화할 때 필요로 하는 가열처리의 최적 조건 및 레토르트 살균 멸치액젓 시제품의 성분조성, 그리고 저장 중 품질안정성 등에 대하여 실험하였다. 멸치액젓의 산도와 총질소량은 열처리의 정도가 커질수록 약간씩 감소하였고, 아미노질소량 역시 열처리 정도가 커질수록 감소한 반면, 휘발성 염기질소량은 열처리 정도가 커질수록 약간씩 증가하였다. 저장 1년동안 생멸치액젓의 휘발성 염기질소량은 약간 증가한 반면, 가열처리 시료들은 약간씩 감소하였다. pH는 생시료가 6.81, 가열처리 시료들은 $6.94{\sim}6.97$로서 가열처리 시료쪽의 pH가 약간 높았고, L, a, b 및 ${\Delta}E$값 측정 결과, 가열처리 시료들은 저장 1년동안 흑변과 같은 색조의 변화가 거의 일어나지 않았다. 생시료에서는 생균수가 $2.9{\sim}9.1{\times}10^3/ml$ 검출되었으나, Fo 3 이상의 가열처리 시료에서는 생균수가 검출되지 않았다. 제품의 유리아미노산으로 alanine, glutamic acid, leucine, isoleucine. valine, lysine 및 phenylalanine 등의 함량이 많았고, 가열처리의 정도가 커질수록 대부분의 유리아미노산이 일정함량씩 감소하는 경향을 보였다. IMP 및 hypoxanthin의 경우는 열처리에 따른 변화가 거의 없었으나, TMAO는 가열치리에 따라 열분해되어 감소하는 경향을 보인 반면, TMA는 약간씩 증가하였다. 가열처리에 따라 냄새성분은 저.중비점 휘발성 성분의 함량이 변화되거나 다른 냄새성분으로 변화되고 있음을 보여주었고, 또한 고비점 물질은 열처리의 정도가 커질수록 더욱 그 함량이 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. 본 실험 결과, 멸치액젓을 레토르트 살균할 경우 Fo 3 이상의 열처리는 맛 및 냄새 면에서 상당한 관능적 품질저하를 초래하였으므로 적합하지 않았고, Fo 2 정도의 열처리가 저장 중 멸치액젓 특유의 풍미성분 및 위생적 안전성 유지, 그리고 품질안전성 향상 면에서 가장 유효한 것으로 판단되었다. 자숙처리 시료의 경우는 저장 중 냄새의 신선미가 약간 저하하는 것으로 나타났으나, 저장 1년 후에도 비교적 좋은 품질을 유지하는 것으로 평가되었다.

Seven cyanobacteria strains (Anabaena macrospora NIERl0016, Oscillatoria sp. NIER10042, Microcystis aeruginosa NIER10015, M. ichtyoblabe BIER10025, BIER10040, M. novacekii NIER10029, M. wesenbergii NIER10068) were tested with four rRNA - targeted oligonucleotide probes labelled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP) and specific for cyanobacteria. Non- fluorescent detection of hybridization signal was used. The hybridization with artificial mixture of cyanobacteria have shown the possibility to use 2 species-specific probes in duplicate hybridization and detection with different colored substrates.

Farnesyl protein transferase는 Ras precursor의 C-terminal에 있는 cystein residue에 farnesyl group을 결합시키는 효소다. 이 효소를 bovine testis에서 30-50% ammonium sulfate fractionation, DEAE-sephacel ion exchange, Sephacryl s-300 gel filtration, hexapeptide(KKCVIM) affinity chromatography를 통해 30000배로 분리하였다. 분리된 효소는 gel filtration시 약 100kDa으로, SDS-polyacrylamide 전기영동시 50kDa의 인접한 두 bands로 나타났고 이것은 $\alpha$, $\beta$ subunits으로 생각되었다. $\alpha$ subunit을 encoding하는 RAM2 유전자를 site directed mutagenesis로 145번의 histidine을 aspartate로, 140번의 aspartate를 asparagine 으로 바꾸었더니 optimal pH와 $K_{m}$ 값이 변했다. Diethyl pyrocarbonate로 histidine residues를 chemical modification시켰을때 효소의 활성이 저하되었다. 145번 histidine이 aspartate로 바뀐 돌연변이효소에서 비교적 느리게 활성이 저하되므로 145번 histidine이 이 효소의 active site에 있을것으로 추측된다.

Maneuvering oblique towing test is simulated in a Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) environment to obtain the linear and nonlinear velocity dependent damping coefficients for a DTMB 5512 model ship. The simulations are carried out in freely accessible OpenFOAM library with three different solvers, rasInterFoam, LTSInterFoam and interDyMFoam, and two turbulence models, $k-{\varepsilon}$ and SST $k-{\omega}$ in presence of free surface. Turning and zig-zag maneuvers are simulated for the DTMB 5512 model ship using the calculated damping coefficients with CFD. The comparison of simulated results with the available experimental shows a very good agreement among them.
