The purpose of this study is to analyze representation of characters of AOS online-game in order to find out the meanings of ontological game characters. This study selects characters of on-line game to analyze representations of game characters by Pierre L$\acute{e}$vy's ontological theory. The characters which represented in on-line games reproduced by costume play in off-line world reflect human desire and construct human existence. Online game character is an existing substance, which could expand human experiences by crossing virtual game world and reality in digital era.

The purpose of this study is to analyze user-generated rules in online games and to define the way of players' identities are developed. This study focuses on the online game League of Legends, which originated from use map system. Based on rule theory, this study analyzes the characteristics of user-generated rules. As the result, this study proves that the main rule of online game is not the rules made by developers, but the emergent rules made by players. Through rule-detection and rule-selection process, user-generated rules change the game system. Therefore, the result of this study expects to show meaningful roles of players in game system.

Jack-up drilling rigs are widely used in offshore oil and gas exploration industry. It is originally designed for use in the shallow waters less than 60m of water depth; there is growing demand for their use in deeper water depth over 150m and harsher environmental conditions. In this study, global in-place analysis of jack-up rig leg for North-sea oil well is performed through numerical analysis. Firstly, environmental conditions and seabed characteristics at the North-sea are collected and investigated measurements from survey report. Based on these data, design specifications are established and the overall basic design is performed. Dynamic characteristics of the jack-up rig for North-sea are considered in the global in-place analysis both leg and hull and the basic stability against overturning moment is also analyzed. The structural integrity of the jack-up rig leg/hull is verified through the code checks and the adequate safety margin is observed. The uncertainty in jack-up behaviour is greatly influenced by the uncertainties in the soil characteristics that determine the resistance of the foundation to the forces imposed by the jack-up structure. Among the risks above mentioned, the punch-through during pre-loading is the most frequently encountered foundation problem for jack-up rigs. The objective of this paper is to clarify the detailed structure and installation engineering matters for prove the structural safety of jack-up rigs during operation. With this intention the following items are addressed; - Characteristics of structural behavior considering soil effect against environmental loads - Modes of failure and related pre-loading procedure and parameters - Typical results of structural engineering and verification by actual measurement.

시대와 문화마다 사용되는 문자와 그것을 표현하는 도구가 다르게 나타나지만 공통적인 특징은 의사소통과 기록을 그 목적으로 한다는 것이다. 그리고 원활한 의사소통을 위하여 시각화시킨 글자는 연상을 통해 특정적인 상징의 의미를 떠올리게 되고 시각화시킨 도구 또한 이미지 연상에 영향을 끼치게 된다. 본 연구에서는 글자를 시각화시키는 캘리그라피의 표현도구가 글자의 형태를 벗어나 도구 자체로써 수용자에게 어떠한 이미지를 연상시키는지 알아보기 위하여 진행되었다.

This study evaluated soccer-specific fitness early and late season to check the conditioning status of K3 league soccer players. Evaluation factors included body composition, agility, quickness, endurance and isokinetic limb muscle strength. As a result, the factors that showed improvement in the late season were skeletal muscle mass, agility and quickness, and body composition, endurance and isokinetic limb muscle strength were not different from each other. The factors that showed improvement in the second half of the season are thought to be due to the learning effect of repetitive training, competition participation during the season. Lastly, endurance and lower extremity strength did not show improvement in the second half of the season due to the fact that no specific training was performed during the season. Taken together, it is necessary to periodically check the fitness status of athletes to develop and apply a fitness training program suitable for competition, transition and preparation period.

To know the varietal difference and yearly changes of lignan contents in the fruits of collected lines of Schizandra chinensis Baillon, three lignan compounds, schizandrin, gomisin A, and gomisin N, were quantitatively analyzed using High Performance liquid Chromatography. The average contents of schizandrin, gomisin A, and gomisin N, showed 0.78%, 0.25%, and 0.63% in the 6-year-old fruits of 24 lines harvested in 1996, and 0.72%, 0.22%, and 0.63% in the 7-year-old ones of 59 lines harvested in 1997. There were the wide range of coefficient of variation (CV) values, the significant differences by the lines and harvest years, and the significant interaction between line and year for lignan contents. Schizandrin contents during 3 years, $1995{\sim}1997$, showed relatively higher amounts more than 0.9% in Chungju 143, Chungju 453, and Chungju 532. Among 23 lines analyzed from 1995 to 1997, Chungju 542, Chungju 547, and Chungju 580 contained continuously higher amounts more than 0.8% of schizandrin and had lower CV values of lignan contents by the harvest years than the other lines. There were a highly significant and negative correlation between fruit weight and lignan contents, and a positive correlation among contents of schizandrin, gomisin A, gomisin N, and total lignan.
