고속철도와 일반철도소음의 성가심 반응에 대한 청감실험 비교 연구 (Jury Evaluation Test for Annoyance Response of KTX (Korea Train Express) and Ordinary Train Noise)

  • In recent years, public complaints about railroad noise by KTX and Ordinary train are increasing. Restriction of railways uses same standard without distinguishing the type of railways. According to the type of railways, the frequency characteristics of emitting noise is different. Therefore it is requested to know how vary the public response to each types of railway. The noise annoyance to three types of trains (KTX, Electric train, Diesel train) was analyzed by Jury Evaluation Test for assessing the effect of frequency characteristics. The numerical results by a Semantic Differential Method showed that annoyance response to three type of trains depended on the frequency characteristics. As a result, this study proposed that the KTX could have a bonus level of maximum 2.9dB(A) to ordinary train.

충격성 소음에 대한 성가심 반응 - 건설공사장 소음을 중심으로 - (Response of Annoyance for Impulsive Noise - Focusing on the Construction Noise -)

  • This research presents a laboratory study about an annoyance of impulsive sound caused by construction site(breaker and blasting). The sources are sampled from outdoor noise and their levels range from 40 to 75 dB at the interval of 5dB. The noise unit is based on A-weighted sound exposure level (ASEL; $L_{AE}$). To make equal ASEL of outdoor noise, finite impulse response (FIR) filter is applied to the originally sampled source to include the effect of distance attenuation. The evaluation method of jury test adopted a Semantic Difference Method (SDM). In the result of the Jury test for impulsive noise, the annoyance response of blasting noise was higher than that of breaker noise.

  • This research presents a laboratory study about an subjective response of impulsive sound caused by leisure shooting.   • Nowadays since the customers of HDD's are interested in their noise levels in addition to their primary performances such as their average access time, capacity, HDD manufacturers make efforts on reducing the noise. The works to reduce noise are usually based on the measurable physical quantities such as SPL or acoustic intensity level. However, since the HDD noise is Judged by human beings, the basis of noise reduction should be human sensations. In this paper, the noise levels of various HDD's are evaluated by the human jury test to find a relationship between the physical quantities used for noise control and the human sensations of noise. Discrepancies are found in the judgments by the human beings and by the physical quantities. The loudness level, a psychoacoustic variable, is used to solve the discrepancy.

쯔비커의 음질 파라메터를 이용한 환상교향곡 표제성의 심리음향학적 분석 (Psycho-acoustical analysis of program feature of Symphonie Fantastique using Zwicker's sound quality parameters)

  • 본 논문에서는 심리음향학적 연구 방법론을 음악의 작품 분석에 적용하여 음악의 매개체인 소리에 내재된 주관성을 객관화하고자 한다. 먼저, 대표적인 표제음악인 베를리오즈의 '환상교향곡'에서 18개의 샘플음원을 추출한 다음 쯔비커의 음질 파라메터(Loudness, Sharpness, Roughness, Fluctuation Strength)를 이용해서 샘플음원의 객관적 음질을 평가하였다. 주관적 음질 평가를 위하여 환상교향곡의 표제성을 기초로 9개의 대표 음질형용사를 추출한 다음 수치등급평가법과 쌍대비교법을 사용하여 1차 청음평가를 수행하였다. 1차 청음평가결과의 요인분석법을 통하여 "밝은", "시끄러운", "현실적인"의 세 가지 음질을 추출하였다. 세 가지 음질 형용사를 사용하여 2차 청음평가를 수행하고 그 결과를 객관적 음질 파라메터와 상관분석을 수행하여 음질지표를 개발하였다.

과부하 굴삭기 소음의 불쾌감 표현인자 (Sound quality metrics to express the discomfort of overload excavator noise during operation)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 선형 다중회귀분석을 통해 과부하 굴삭기 소음의 불쾌감을 표현할 수 있는 음질인자를 찾고 이를 이용하여 객관적인 평가를 위한 음질인덱스를 개발하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 소음특성이 다른 굴삭기 6모델을 선별하여 과부하 조건의 운전실 소음을 녹음하고 쌍대비교법과 크기평가법에 의한 청음평가를 수행하였다. 그리고 일관성이 낮은 청음평가 결과는 군집분석을 통해 선호도 성향이 다른 2 그룹으로 분류하고 회귀분석을 실시하여 어떤 음질인자가 불쾌감(낮은 선호도)에 유의한 영향을 주는 인자인지를 고찰하였다. 그 결과 불쾌감을 표현하는 음질인자는 10 Bark까지 부분 라우드니스 인자($PN_{10Bark}$)에 따라 불쾌감을 느끼는 성향을 가진 청음 평가자 그룹과 엔진 소음($dB_{EG}$)과 유압시스템 소음의 차이($dB_1$)로 표현된 인자에 따라 불쾌감을 느끼는 성향을 가진 청음 평가자 그룹으로 구성되어 있음을 확인하였다. 그리고 쌍대비교법의 선호도 순위와 성향 분석결과를 이용하고 크기평가법과의 상관분석을 통해 신뢰도가 낮은 평가자의 결과는 제외하여 보다 신뢰성 높은 크기평가법의 청음평가 결과를 얻었다.

자동차 인테리어 모듈의 BSR 소음과 음질 특성 연구 (A Study on BSR Noise and Sound Quality Property for Vehicle Interior Module)

  • Among the various elements affecting a customer's evaluation of automobile quality, buzz, squeak and rattle(BSR) have been considered to be major factors. In most vehicle manufacturers, the BSR problems are solved by find-fix method with the vehicle road test, mainly due to various excitation sources, complex generation mechanism and subjective response. To systematically tackle the BSR problems in early stage of the vehicle development cycle, these difficulties should be resolved. The aim of the present paper is to characterize the sound quality property of BSR noise that can be used to assess the subjective responses to BSR. The four sound metrics from Zwicker's sound quality parameter are computed for the signals recorded for eight BSR noise source regions localized by using the acoustic-field visualized results. Then, the jury test of BSR noise are performed. On the basis of the computed sound metrics and jury test result is evaluated to represent the harshness of BSR noise. It is expected that the developed BSR measuring system and sound quality properties can be used to reduce the automotive interior BSR noise in terms of subjective levels as well as objective levels.
