한국산 날개줄고기과 (Agonidae) 어류 1 미기록종, Aspidophoroides monopterygius (First Record of a Poacher, Aspidophoroides monopterygius (Scorpaeniformes: Agonidae) from the East Sea, Korea)

  • 쏨뱅이목 날개줄고기과에 속하는 Aspidophoroides monopterygius 6개체 (표준체장 151.4~171.2 mm)가 강원도 삼척과 강릉 연안에서 동해구외끌이중형저인망에 의해 채집되었다. 본 종은 긴 체형, 1개의 등지느러미, 입이 몸의 전방에 위치, 두부에 수염이 없으며 주둥이에 몸의 후방을 향하는 날카로운 비골극이 있는 것이 특징이다. 본 종은 민어치(Anoplagonus occidentalis)와 형태적으로 매우 유사하지만, 비골극을 가지는 점에서 차이가 있다. 우리나라에서 처음 보고되는 본 종의 국명으로 "악어줄고기"를 제안한다.

  • 2011년 태국 짜오프라야 강 유역에서 발생한 홍수에 의해 많은 피해가 발생했다. 본 연구에서는 홍수범람시 시공간적 침수상황이 파악 가능한 Terra MODIS 영상을 이용하여 태국 짜오프라야 강 유역의 홍수에 의한 침수지역을 추정하였다. 2011년 7월 29일에서 2012년 1월 9일까지의 500m 해상도인 MODIS product MOD09 8일 합성 영상을 수집하고 식생지수(EVI), 지표수분지수(LSWI)와 DVEL지수(식생지수와 지표수분지수의 차이)를 이용하여 홍수범람 지역과 수역관련 지역의 탐지 기법을 제시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 홍수 범람지역의 자료를 정보화하고 그 결과를 정량적으로 제시하는 방법으로 활용될 수 있으며, MODIS 자료의 이용은 시공간적 하천 홍수범람지역 탐지의 가능성을 알 수 있었다.

  • The work on the eutropication of Youngsan river was conducted from Jul. 1997 to Jun. 1998. The value of water temperature in the study area varied from $4^{\circ}C\;to\;32^{\circ}C$ with an annual mean of $17.5^{\circ}C$. DO varied from 4.0 $mg/{\ell}$ to 13.5 $mg/{\ell}$, with an annual mean 10.2 $mg/{\ell}$,. BOD varied from 0.8 $mg/{\ell}$, to 6.4 $mg/{\ell}$ with an annual mean 3.1 $mg/{\ell}$. COD varied from 4.6 $mg/{\ell}$, to 9.0 $mg/{\ell}$ with an annual mean 6.38 $mg/{\ell}$. Nitrate varied from 1.58 $mg/{\ell}$, to 6.77 $mg/{\ell}$, with an annual mean of 3.475 $mg/{\ell}$, Total-nitrogen varied from 2.14 $mg/{\ell}$ to 8.38 $mg/{\ell}$ with an annual mean of 5.083 $mg/{\ell}$. Total-phosphate varied from 0.035 $mg/{\ell}$ to 0.588 $mg/{\ell}$ with an annual mean of 0.128 $mg/{\ell}$. Chl.a varied from 1.8 ${\mu}g/{\ell}$ to 75.0 ${\mu}g/{\ell}$ with an annual mean of 19.55 ${\mu}g/{\ell}$. The euthrophic state index of $Carlson^{16)}$ were showed 61.8(TP) and 71(SD) value

Background Level of Atmospheric Radon-222 Concentrations at Gosan Station, Jeju Island, Korea in 2011

  • Real-time monitoring of hourly atmospheric radon (Rn-222) concentration was performed throughout 2011 at Gosan station, Jeju Island, one of the least polluted regions in Korea, in order to characterize the background levels, and temporal variations on diurnal to seasonal time-scales. The annual mean radon concentration for 2011 was $2527{\pm}1356$ mBq $m^{-3}$, and the seasonal cycle was characterized by a broad winter maximum, and narrow summer minimum. Mean monthly radon concentrations, in descending order of magnitude, were Oct > Sep > Feb > Nov > Jan > Dec > Mar > Aug > Apr > Jun > May > Jul. The maximum monthly mean value (3595 mBq $m^{-3}$, October), exceeded the minimum value (1243 mBq $m^{-3}$, July), by almost a factor of three. Diurnal composite hourly concentrations increased throughout the night to reach their maximum (2956 mBq $m^{-3}$) at around 7 a.m., after which they decreased to their minimum value (2259 mBq $m^{-3}$) at around 3 p.m. Back trajectory analyses indicated that the highest radon events typically exhibited long-term continental fetch over Asia before arriving at Jeju. In contrast, low radon events were generally correlated with air mass fetch over the North Pacific Ocean. Radon concentrations typical of predominantly continental, and predominantly oceanic fetch, differed by a factor of 3.8.

Methods It was researched as bibliographic study with ${\ulcorner}$Sik Ryo Chan YO${\lrcorner}$ of the oldest Korean book concerned about a dietary treatment and ${\ulcorner}$Hyangyakjipseongbang(鄕藥集成方)${\lrcorner}$ ${\ulcorner}$Euibangyoochui(醫方類聚 )${\ulcorner}$ etc. 3. Results and Conclusions (1) ${\ulcorner}$Hae Dong Moon Hun Chong Rok(海東文獻總錄)${\lrcorner}$ misquoted ‘Five Vegetable(五菜)’ written in ${\ulcorner}$Sik Ryo Chan YO${\lrcorner}$ as 'One leaf(一葉)'. (2) The efficacy of persimmon, Mo Gwa, Oh Ga Pi(the root bark of various araliaceous shrubs), Crucian, Ju Du Kang, Watershied plant(Brassenia purpurea) in this book are the same or similar to those of ${\ulcorner}$Dongyi Suse Bowon${\lrcorner}$ and ${\ulcorner}$Dongmu Yugo${\lrcorner}$. But some of them are represented as having different properities in Sasang Constitutional Medicine(SCM) and ${\ulcorner}$Sik Ryo Chan YO${\lrcorner}$. For example, dried persimmon is used for the treatment of deafness, Crucian for asthma and Song Jul(松節) for bruises in ${\ulcorner}$Sik Ryo Chan Yo${\lrcorner}$ but SCM. (3) This book doesn`t have a definite expression about Sasangin, but it contains documents of clinical cases. So it seems that this book would somewhat affect to SCM after ages.

노숙자에 대한 가족지지, 자아존중감 및 삶의 만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Relationships of Family Support, Self-esteem and Life-satisfaction in Homeless Persons)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the correlation of family support, self-esteem and life-satisfaction in homeless persons and to provide basic data to help them attain a better quality of life. From Jul. 1 to Oct. 10, 2000, 235 homeless persons, registered at the noninstitutionalized homeless and institutionalized homeless in Seoul, were accepted as subjects for the study. The instruments used for this study were a Family support scale of Park, Jee Won, life-satisfaction scale of Wood, Wylie & Sheafer and Rosenberg's Self-esteem Scale. The reliability of the scales were tested by Cronbach's Alpha. The collected data Were analyzed by the SPSS program using unpaired t-test and Pearson's Correlation Coefficients. The results were as follows : 1. There Was a statistically significant difference in the level of demographic between family support groups : age(t=2.74, P=.001), education background(f=5.48, P=.001), connection of family (t=2.29, P=.05), present illness(t=2.04, P=.05). 2. There Was a statistically significant difference in the level of demographic between self-esteem groups : education background(t=3.24, P=.05), connect of family (t=3.38, P=.001), types of disease(t=2.12, P=.05), job related to income (t=2.12, P=.05). 3. There Was a statistically significant difference in the level of demographic between life-satisfaction groups : education background(t=3.39, P=.05), connect of family(t=2.10, P=.01), smoking(t=2.38, P=.01), disease(t=1.92, P=.05), emotion states(t= 6.12, P=.001). 4. There was a positive correlation between family support and self-esteem for the homeless and it was statistically significant (r=.267, p=.001). 5. There was a positive correlation between family support and life-satisfaction for the homeless and it was statistically significant(r=.299, p=.001). 6. There was a positive correlation between life-satisfaction and self-esteem for the homeless and it was statistically significant(r=.179, p=.01).

박쥐의(Chiroptera) 휴식지로서 교량 이용에 관한 연구 (Use of Bridges as Roosting Site by Bats(Chiroptera))

  • 주야간 휴식장소로써 박쥐가 교량(Bridge)을 이용하는 특성을 파악하기 위하여 2007년 7월부터 2008년 10월까지 경상북도 남동부 지역의 수계에 조성된 81개 교량을 조사하였다. 조사결과 교량을 휴식장소로 이용하고 있는 종은 관박쥐 Rhinolophus ferrumequinum, 집박쥐 Pipistrellus abramus, 검은집박쥐 Hypsu해 alaschanicus, 우수리박쥐 Myotis petax, 쇠큰수염박쥐 Myotis ikonnikov, 문둥이박쥐 Eptesicus seotinus 등 6종이 확인되었다. 총 7개 유형의 교량 가운데 거더(girder)가 조성되어 있는 3개 유형의 교량에서만 박쥐의 이용이 확인되어 교량에 있어 박쥐의 휴식장소 이용은 교량의 구조적 특징에 의해서 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 구조적 특징을 제외한 환경요인으로는 교량의 주변 산림, 경작지, 교량 하부의 차량통행 여부 등의 요인이 박쥐의 교량내 휴식활동에 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다.

불임 환자의 치료에서 Mild Ovarian Hyperstimulation을 이용한 Single IUI와 Double IUI의 비교 (A Comparison Study of Single with Double Intrauterine Insemination with Mild Ovarian Hyperstimulation for Infertility Patients)

  • Objective: To compare the clinical efficacy of double intrauterine insemination with single intrauterine insemination in GnRH antagonist combined ovarian hyperstimulation (Mild ovarian hyperstimulation) Materials and Methods: From Jan. 2001 to Jul. 2004, a retrospective clinical analysis was done of a total of 295 cycles in 170 patients who underwent ovarian hyperstimulation for ART (assisted reproductive technique). Subjects were divided into three groups; only clomiphene citrate ovarian hyperstimulation (n=55, 95cycles), GnRH antagonist combined ovarian hyperstimulation (soft ovarian hyperstimulation) (n=66 99cycles), and GnRH agonist combined ovarian hyperstimulation (short protocol) (n=49, 101cycles) Each group were randomly devided into two subgroups. One group underwent single IUI and the other group underwent double IUI. Results: GnRH antagonist group and GnRH agonist group had similar pregnancy rate. In GnRH antagonist Group, pregnancy rate was 36.1% in single IUI subgroup and was 36.6% in double IUI subgroup. These finding were not statistically significant. And Pregnancy rate was 20.8% in single IUI subgroup and was 19.3% in double IUI subgroup in single clomiphene citrate group, and 36.3% in single IUI subgroup and was 33.3% in double IUI subgroup in GnRH agonist group. These finding were not statistically significant, too. Conclusion: Pregnancy rate of GnRH antagonist was high and complication rate such as OHSS and multiple pregnancy was lower. In GnRH antagonist group, to compare with single IUI and double IUI, the result do not statistically differ. So GnRH antagonist single injection with single IUI was relatively comparable ART in infertiliry patient.

  • The latest date, No. 1 YouII was grounded and sunk into the sea at MAMHYUNGJEDO ( South brother Island) in Sep. 21. 1995, and M.V. Sea Prince of V.L.C.C also made a big oil poullution accident owing to Typhoon "Paei" at front sea of Yeu Choun on Jul. 25. 1995. The large or small scall scale of oil poullution accident frequently was occurred about 300-350 cases per ine(1) year. The countries advanced in marine relations like as, nited Kingdom and Japan, have perfect system The country of expert education, training and oil recovery equipments in oil poullution accidents. The large quantity oil skimming ship's basic condition need general skimming ship which was high speed and large quantity skimming ability , and hve to store the recovered oil into tanks This oil skimming shop are composit the skimmer whuch move up and down according to the wace movements, storage tank which storage the recovered oil in after side, transfer pump which transformed from flooding tank to separating tank and separating tank which separated the oil mixtures, Also there are cylindrical floated which keep the auto positing, gate which keep the auto positing, gate which protect and guide the recovering oil from sea and balance weight for skimmer balance. As use the above natural princile and equipment, we can remove the large quantity oil by developed oil skimming ship.ming ship.

멸종위기 야생생물 I 급 털복주머니란 서식지 복원을 위한 서식지 적합성 지수(HSI) 개발 (Development of Habitat Suitability Index for Habitat Restoration of Class I Endangered Wildlife, Cypripedium guttatum Cw.)

  • This study aimed to develop the HSI (Habitat Suitability Index) model of Cypripedium guttatum. and to verify this model by applying to the candidate sites for replacement habitat. The development of HSI and SI (Suitability Index) model was conducted based on the existing literature, field surveys, and expert opinions for information on ecological habitat characteristics. Seven variables were selected as habitat variables including mean maximum temperature in Jul.-Aug., lighting, slope, altitude, effective soil depth, soil texture, and artificial overexploitation (i.e. protected areas). HSI model was developed for C. guttaum based on these variables. This HSI model showed high applicability to selection and evaluation of replacement habitats for C. guttaum. Our findings could provide the basic information on habitat assessment to prevent the extinction of endangered C. guttatum. However, since there is a limitation that the survey data were insufficient, further field surveys should be conducted on several habitat types to improve the accuracy of the HSI model.
