The regulation of gene expression in procaryotes is accomplished primarily at the level of transcription. Initiation of transcription is subject to numerous promoter-specific controls which act to ensure coordinate expression of disparate genes. The kinetics of formation of a functional("open") complex at a promoter, prior to the catalytic steps of RNA chain initiation and elongation, is thought to play a major role in controlling the efficiency of transcription of that promotor, since the subsequent processes of nucleotide binding and phosphodiester bond formation are rapid and are not promoter-specific (Mangel and Chamberlin, 1974 Shimamoto et al., 1981)

Modern society suffers from a disease burden that is caused by out of balance patients. Obesity causes patients to be out of balance and develop diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and arthritis. Obesity also promotes cancer. Traditional medicine can help people learn how to live in balance. When a person is in balance, the body heals itself. This article teaches the advantages of traditional healing in the modern world.

X-ray filmed data converted by Image digitizer were processed through the digital computer for edge detections. Sobel operator with the high-pass and the low-pass filtering of the histogram of the images were applied to this work and 3 examples were processed.

In this paper, the effective and reasonal recognition method is represented for 3-D images. For effective computation, we contrive PDL generation algorithm and show recognition process of the PDL list by Prolog. In this results, it is possible to recognize the 3-D image in real-time.

Disposable nonwovens entered the medical field over four decades ago, beginning with basic paperlike face masks and proceeding through sterilization wrap, specialty drapes and gowns. These medical nonwovens have proven to be invaluable in products ranging from drape sheets to surgical gowns to adult pads and underpads by utilizing a gamut of nonwoven structures. The combining of nonwoven technologies has enabled the industry to offer products with properties hitherto though impossible.(omitted)

Lucifer - type algorithms with variable length of block size are presented. They are investigated and compared in the viewpoint of the intersymbol dependence. The results show that the S-box and the number of rounds are very important factors in achieving the complete dependence.
