생비골 이식술을 이용한 거대세포종의 치료 (Free Vascularized Fibular Graft for the Treatment of Giant Cell Tumor)

  • The management of giant cell tumor involving juxta-articular portion has always been a difficult problem. In certain some giant cell tumors with bony destruction, a wide segmental resection may be needed for preventing to recur. But a main problem is preserving of bony continuity in bony defect as well as preservation of joint function. The traditional bone grafts have high incidence in recurrence rate, delayed union, bony resorption, stress fracture despite long immobilization and stiffness of adjuscent joint. We have attemped to overcome these problems by using a microvascular technique to transfer the fibula with peroneal vascular pedicle as a living bone graft. From Apr. 1984 to Nov. 1990, we performed the reconstruction of wide bone defect after segmental resection of giant cell tumor in 4 cases, using Vascularized Fibular Graft, which occur at the distal radius in 3 cases and at the proximal tibia in 1 case. An average follow-up was 2 years 8 months, average bone defect after wide segmental resection of lesion was 11.4cm. These all cases revealed good bony union in average 6.5months, and we got the wide range of motion of adjacent joint without recurrence and serious complications.

전완원위부 변형에 대한 혈관부착 성장판 이식술 (Long-Term Result of the Epiphyseal Transplantation in Distal Forearm)

  • We analyzed 11 children who underwent epiphyseal transplantation to the forearm for manage growing deformity ranged from 2 years 6 months to years(average 5 years 10 months) follow-up period. Etiologies of the functional impairment of the eleven were five traumatic, three congenital and three tumorous conditions. Lesions of epiphysis were distal radius in eight patients and distal ulna in three patients. Operation was performed with removal of non-functioning or deformed epiphysis followed by transplantation of free vascularized proximal fibular epiphysis with microvascular anastomesis. Evaluation was performed radiologically and functionally. The 9(81.8%) patients showed growth of transplanted epiphysis by radiological examination during follow up. At the last follow up, average growth rate was 0.86cm per year excepts 2 cases of no growth. Active wrist motion near normal to contralateral joint was achieved in 7 patients. In other 2 patients, active joint motion was improved but weaker than contralateral joint. Complications on donor site were two transient peroneal nerve palsy which have been resolved after 2 and 5 months post operation and one valgus ankle deformity. The ankle deformity was corrected with $Langenski\"{o}ld$ operation of the dital tibiofibular fusion. At recipient site, there was one superficial infection and it was easily controlled by systemic antibiotics. Many subsequent reports have described successful nonvascularized epiphyseal transplante, but overall results have been inconsistent and unsatisfactory. Other experimental and clinical studies in the transfer of vascularized epiphyses has encourage its clinical application. We also could gel successful growth in several cases with free vascularized epiphyseal transplantation.

  • 최신 동영상 압축 표준화 기술인 HEVC(High Efficiency Video Coding)는 ITU-T(VCEG)와 ISO-IEC(MPEG)에서 JCT-VC(Joint Collaborative Team on Video Coding)라는 팀을 이루어 진행했으며 표준화의 막바지에 다다르고 있다. 기존 H.264/AVC에 약 50% 이상의 성능 향상을 가져왔으나, 다양한 압축 기술을 사용함에 따라 부호화 및 복호화의 복잡도가 매우 증가하는 문제가 있다. 제안하는 방법은 CPU 병렬처리와 GPU 가속처리를 통해 HEVC의 복잡도를 줄이고, 이를 UHD(Ultra High Definition) 초고해상도 영상에 적용하는 방법으로 UHD($3840{\times}2144$) 영상에서 15fps 이상 인코딩/디코딩의 속도를 가지며, CPU와 GPU간의 데이터 전송 방법의 발전으로 추가적인 속도 향상이 기대된다.

콘크리트 기둥과 철골 보 합성골조 접합부에서의 지압강도 (Bearing Strength of Concrete Column and Steel Beam Composite Joints)

  • 철근콘크리트 기둥-철골보(RCS)합성골조 접합부에서 지압 거동을 평가하고 지압설계를 위하여 단순화한 국부지압 실험을 수행하였다. 편심하중에 의해 국부지압을 받을 때 콘크리트의 쐐기작용과 띠철근의 횡구속 효과에 의해 저항된다. 실험결과 U형 지압보강근은 지압내력을 철근 강도만큼 증가시키면서 상세와 설치가 단순하여 효과적으로 나타났다. 띠철근 양에 따라 지압강도가 증가하며 이중 띠철근이 더욱 효과적으로 약20% 증가된다. 현행 ASCE설계지침에서 띠철근 규정은 지압내력이 2 $f_{ck}$ 가 되기 위해서는 다소 미흡하며, 지압강도는 띠철근과 이중 띠철근을 증가시킴에 따라 최대한 2.5 $f_{ck}$ 까지 사용할 수 있다. 본 연구의 결과로서 RCS 보기둥 접합부의 지압내력 추정을 위한 예측식이 제안되었으며 실험결과와 비교적 잘 일치되고 있다.

골유착성 임플랜트 보철물의 캔틸레버 위치와 길이변화에 따른 삼차원 유한요소법적 응력분석 (A THREE DIMENSIONAL FINITE ELEMENT STRESS ANALYSIS OF OSSEOINTEGRATED PROSTHESIS ACCORDING TO THE LOCATION AND LENGTH OF CANTILEVER)

  • This study investigated the effects of cantilever length, location and load condition on stress distribution developed in the implants, prostheses and supporting tissues. The osseointegrated prostheses with two 10mm Branemark implants at 2nd premolar and 1st molar sites with cantilever extensions at 1st premolar, 2nd and 3rd molar sites were constructed. Under 100N, 200N of vertical and $45^{\circ}$ oblique loads at the cantilever pontics, stress distribution patterns and displacement were analyzed with three dimensional finite element method. The results were as follows : 1. The stress was concentrated at the joint of the cantilever pontic and implant superstructure, the neck of implant and the ridge crest near the cantilever But there was little load transfer to the lower supporting tissues of implants. 2. The implant near the cantilever was displaced inferiorly while the implant far from the cantilever was displaced superiorly. In horizontal direction the implants were displaced to the direction where the loads were applied, except the apexes of the implants. 3. In case of anterior cantilever, the stress and displacement were higher than the prosthesis connected with natural tooth. 4. The stress developed in the posterior cantilevered type was higher than in the anterior cantilevered type. The greastest stress was concentrated at the ridge crest near the posterior cantilever. 5. The longer the cantilever, the more the stress was developed and was concentrated at the joint of the cantilever pontic and implant superstructure. 6. Under oblique load, the stress was concentrated at the necks of implants and the ridge crests, but decreased at the joint of the cantilever pontic and implant superstructure than under vertical load.

신축이음용 벨로우즈의 거동특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Behavioral Characteristics of Bellows for Expansion Joints)

  • Bellows are corrugated mechanical elements used to absorb displacements or vibrations caused by temperature changes, pressure, earthquakes, waves, etc., which are welded to flanges or directly connected to pipes. Expansion joint bellows must not only be designed to sufficiently withstand the internal pressure of the pipes but also accommodate axial, transverse, and rotational deformations to minimize the transfer of forces to the sensitive components of the system. Bellows have various types of corrugations, but U-type bellows are most commonly used in general piping systems. In this study, the behavior of U-shaped one-, two-, and three-ply bellows with the same inner diameter under pressure and forced displacement was analyzed using the finite element method. The results were compared with the design formula in the Expansion Joint Manufacturers Association (EJMA)'s code. Manufacturer data were used for the applied pressure and force displacement. The behavioral characteristics of the three cases were compared via structural analysis because the stress levels will be different for each model, even if they have the same inner diameter. Since the analytical model has an axisymmetric shape but displacement occurs in the transverse direction, the finite element model was composed of 1/2 of the whole model, and ANSYS Workbench 17.2 was employed for the analysis.

빅데이터 기반 산학협력 네트워크 분석 (A Network Analysis on Industry-University Cooperation based on Big Data Analytics)

  • 본 논문에서는 네트워크 분석방법을 활용하여 대학 중심의 산학협력 네트워크의 구조적 특성을 분석하였다. 최근 기술협력 및 공동연구가 성과창출에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것이 증명됨에 따라, 혁신성과 창출을 위하여 주요 참여주체(대학 및 공공 등)를 중심으로 다양한 형태의 협력활동 추진과 정부의 정책적 지원이 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 하지만 이러한 노력에도 불구하고 성장동력 창출은 다소 미흡한 상황이기에 대학중심의 산학협력 활동강화를 위한 혁신 네트워크 구축 방안 마련이 필요한 시점이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 산학협력 유형(특허, 논문, 공동연구, 기술이전)에 따른 네트워크를 구축하고, QAP상관분석 및 QAP회귀분석을 실시하여 서로 다른 유형의 산학협력 네트워크간 관련성 및 연관성을 통계적 관점에서 분석하였다. 분석결과 공동연구 네트워크는 논문 네트워크와 밀접한 관련이 있으며, 다른 산학협력 네트워크와도 관련성을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 대학의 새로운 성장동력 창출에 필요한 산학협력 전략수립 및 협력 파트너 발굴 등과 같은 혁신활동을 지원할 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

양자전이 비행시간 질량분석기를 이용한 화학물질 화재 발생 시 대기질 조사 연구 (Study on Air Quality in the Case of Chemical Fires Using Proton Transfer Reaction-Time of Flight Mass Spectrometer)

  • 화학사고는 폭발, 누출 유출, 화재 등 다양한 형태로 발생한다. 특히 화재로 인한 화학사고는 매연으로 인해 주변 대기환경에 심각한 영향을 주며 주민의 불안을 야기하여 신속한 원인 물질 파악과 주변 지역 대기질 영향조사가 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 화재 시 원인물질을 파악하고 대기질을 실시간 모니터링 하기 위해 양자전이 비행시간 질량분석기를 사용하였다. 이 분석기는 시료채취와 전처리 없이 빠른 응답시간을 가져 실시간 분석이 가능하며 또한 수소친화도가 높은 대부분의 휘발성유기화합물질의 정량 정성 분석이 가능하여 화재 원인 물질을 밝히고 주변 대기의 영향을 조사하는데 적합하다. 실제로 2018년 4월에 ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$ 지역 화재 발생 시 양자전이비행시간질량분석기를 이용하여 측정한 결과 메탄올, 아세톤, 메틸에틸케톤이 주요 원인 물질임을 알 수 있었다.

Joint Beamforming and Power Splitting Design for Physical Layer Security in Cognitive SWIPT Decode-and-Forward Relay Networks

  • In an underlay cognitive simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) network, communication from secondary user (SU) to secondary destination (SD) is accomplished with decode-and-forward (DF) relays. Multiple energy-constrained relays are assumed to harvest energy from SU via power splitting (PS) protocol and complete SU secure information transmission with beamforming. Hence, physical layer security (PLS) is investigated in cognitive SWIPT network. In order to interfere with eavesdropper and improve relay's energy efficiency, a destination-assisted jamming scheme is proposed. Namely, SD transmits artificial noise (AN) to interfere with eavesdropping, while jamming signal can also provide harvested energy to relays. Beamforming vector and power splitting ratio are jointly optimized with the objective of SU secrecy capacity maximization. We solve this non-convex optimization problem via a general two-stage procedure. Firstly, we obtain the optimal beamforming vector through semi-definite relaxation (SDR) method with a fixed power splitting ratio. Secondly, the best power splitting ratio can be obtained by one-dimensional search. We provide simulation results to verify the proposed solution. Simulation results show that the scheme achieves the maximum SD secrecy rate with appropriate selection of power splitting ratio, and the proposed scheme guarantees security in cognitive SWIPT networks.

GPS 연동 IS-95C 멀티미디어 단말기 구현 (Implementation of IS-95C Multimedia Terminal using GPS)

  • 본 논문에서는 CDMA이동통신망을 이용하여 뉴스속보, 일기예보 , 스포츠 뉴스 , 문화계 소식 등의 생활정보를 제공하고 동영상/정지영상/자막광고 등을 표출하는 멀티미디어단말기를 구현하였다. GPS 위성을 이용하여 역사나 정류장 안내를 자동화함으로써 대중교통 운전자의 운행 안정성을 제고함은 물론 승객에게 유용한 정보의 제공을 도모할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 CDMA2000 1×(IS-95C)이동통신망을 통한 실시간 동영상 전송을 실험하였으며, 시스템과 각 모듈을 제어하는 스케줄러를 개발하여 열차와 버스에서 성능 테스트를 하였다. 차량환경에서 높은 신뢰도를 갖도록 설계된 임베디드 프로세서 시스템은 높은 안정성을 보였으며, 이동체에서의 고속 데이터 통신은 IS-95C 통신망에서 약 74Kbps를 나타내었다.
