절리 발달 특성 및 심도 변화에 의한 방사성폐기물 처분장 주변영역에서의 열수리역학적 안정성 연구 (Thermohydromechanical Stability Study on the Joint Characteristics and Depth Variations in the Region of an Underground Radwaste Repository)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 지하 고준위 방사성폐기물 처분공동 주변에서의 절리 위치 변화 및 처분공동의 지하심도 변화에 따른 처분공동 및 주변 절리에서의 장기간(500년)에l 걸친 열수리역학적 연성거동 변화를 분석하고, 앞으로 처분 개념 설정에 활용 하고자 하는 것이다. 해석모델은 포화된 불연속 화강 암반, 처분공내 압축 벤토나 이트로 둘러쌓인 PWR 사용후 핵연료 및 처분용기, 그리고 처분동굴 내에 채워진 혼합 벤토나이트를 포함한다. 해석모델 내에는 2개의 절리 세트가 존재하는 것으로 가정하였다: 절리세트 1은 20m 간격의 56도 경사의 절리들로 구성되었고, 절리세트 2는 절리세트 1에 수직방향으로 20m 간격의 34도 경사의 절리들로 구성되었다. 절리위치 변화의 영향을 파악하기 위하여 500m 깊이의 모델5개, 지하 심도 영향파악을 위하여 추가로 3개의 1000m 깊이의 모델을 해석하였다.

Joint Optimization of User Set Selection and Transmit Power Allocation for Orthogonal Random Beamforming in Multiuser MIMO Systems

  • When the number of users is finite, the performance improvement of the orthogonal random beamforming (ORBF) scheme is limited in high signal-to-noise ratio regions. In this paper, to improve the performance of the ORBF scheme, the user set and transmit power allocation are jointly determined to maximize sum rate under the total transmit power constraint. First, the transmit power allocation problem is expressed as a function of a given user set. Based on this expression, the optimal user set with the maximum sum rate is determined. The suboptimal procedure is also presented to reduce the computational complexity, which separates the user set selection procedure and transmit power allocation procedure.

절리형성 암반지층 굴착벽체에 작용하는 토압에 대한 절리군의 영향 (Effect of Joint Sets on the Earth Pressure against the Support System in a Jointed Rock Mass)

  • 본 연구는 절리형성 암반지층 굴착벽체에 작용하는 토압에 대한 암반종류 및 절리조건 (전단강도 및 절리경사각)뿐만아니라 절리군의 수에 대한 영향을 조사하였다. 모델실험 및 그에 대한 시뮬레이션결과를 토대로 다양한 수치해석적 매개변수연구가 수행되었다. 해석결과, 굴착벽체에 발생하는 토압은 절리군에 포함된 절리경사각에 큰 영향을 받았지만, 절리군의 수 자체만으로는 토압에 큰 영향을 주지는 않았다. 연구결과는 또한 토사지반에서의 토압인 Peck 토압과 상호 비교되었으며, 이를 통해 절리가 형성된 암반지층 굴착벽체에 발생하는 토압은 토사지반에서 발생하는 토압과 크게 다를 수 있다는 것을 파악하였다. 본 연구를 통해서 향후 암반지층에 설치되는 굴착벽체 설계시 적용하는 토압은 암반종류 및 절리조건과 더불어 절리군에 포함된 절리경사각을 고려하여 산정해야 할 것으로 판단된다.

심부 처분공동 주변 절리에서의 열수리역학적 거동변화 (Thermohydromechanical Behavior Study on the Joints in the Vicinity of an Underground Disposal Cavern)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 고준위 방사성폐기물을 지하 심부 불연속 화강 암반 내에 처분할 때 처분공동 주변 절리에서의 장기간(500년)에 걸친 열수리역학적 연성거동 변화를 분석하고, 앞으로 처분 개념 설정에 활용 하고자 하는 것이다. 해석모델은 포화된 불연속 화강 암반, 처분공내 압축 벤토나이트로 둘러 쌓인 PWR 사용후 핵연료 및 처분용기, 그리고 처분동굴 내에 채워진 혼합 벤토나이트를 포함한다. 해석모델 내에는 2개의 절리 세트가 존재하는 것으로 가정하였다. 절리세트1은 20m간격의 $56^{\circ}$ 경사의 절리들로 구성되었고, 절리세트2는 절리세트1에 수직방향으로 20m간격의 $34^{\circ}$ 경사의 절리들로 구성되었다. 해석은 2차원 해석 코드인 UDEC을 사용하였다. 특히 공동 주변 절리에서의 거동변화를 파악하기 위하여 Barton-Bandis 절리 모델을 사용하였고, PWR 사용후 핵연료로부터의 시간의존 방사성 붕괴열 영향 분석 및 steady state 유동 알고리즘을 이용한 수리해석을 하였다.

조선후기 경복궁 근정전 주요 구조재의 맞춤과 이음에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Joint and Splice of wooden Structure at Geunjeongjeon Hall of Gyeongbok Palace in the late Joseon Dynasty)

  • This study examines the joint and splice of wooden structure at Geunjeongjeon Hall of Gyengbok Palace, which was constructed in the late Joseon Dynasty. The scope of the study is on the part of columns, the bracket sets, and the frame structure. This research also deals with the relationship between vortical load and horizontal load. Firstly, the examination of the joint and splice methods between the pillar and penetrating ties is on the joint and splice methods of the outer and corner. Through the investigation, it is verified that the joint methods between pillar and penetrating tie on the outer and corner pillars is the method of Sagal joints(cross joints, 사개맞춤). Joints used between pillar and penetrating tie are dovetailed tenon joints, between columns and Anchogong(안초공), between columns and Choikgong(초익공) are tenon joint(장부맞춤). Secondly, the examination of the joint and splice methods of the bracket set is on that of Salmi and Cheomcha(첨차), and Salmi and Janghyeo(장혀). Joints used between Salmi and Cheomcha, Salmi and Janghyeo are halved joint, and between each Janghyeo are stepped dovetailed splice. It is Cheomcha that is used the Jujang-Cheomcha(주장첨차) on center line. Therefore it is connected with each bracket set, which gets to is the strong system, easy and convenient on the construction of that. Thirdly, the frame structure of wooden architecture in royal palace is consist of purlins and beams, Janghyeo(장혀, timber under purlin), tall columns, king posts, etc. Through the investigation, it is verified that the joint and splice methods between purlins and beams are used with the methods of Sungeoteok joint(숭어턱맞춤). It is verified that the joint and splice methods between beams and high columns are used with methods of mortise and tenon joint(장부맞춤), is highly related with tensile force. To reduce the separation of parts, sangi(산지) and tishoi(띠쇠) are used as a counterproposal, which were generally used for architecture in royal Palaces in the late Joseon Dynasty and continued to be used until these days common wooden architecture.

Joint Relay Selection and Resource Allocation for Delay-Sensitive Traffic in Multi-Hop Relay Networks

  • In this paper, we investigate traffic scheduling for a delay-sensitive multi-hop relay network, and aim to minimize the priority-based end-to-end delay of different data packet via joint relay selection, subcarrier assignment, and power allocation. We first derive the priority-based end-to-end delay based on queueing theory, and then propose a two-step method to decompose the original optimization problem into two sub-problems. For the joint subcarrier assignment and power control problem, we utilize an efficient particle swarm optimization method to solve it. For the relay selection problem, we prove its convexity and use the standard Lagrange method to deal with it. The joint relay selection, subcarriers assignment and transmission power allocation problem for each hop can also be solved by an exhaustive search over a finite set defined by the relay sensor set and available subcarrier set. Simulation results show that both the proposed routing scheme and the resource allocation scheme can reduce the average end-to-end delay.

  • This paper presents a new method that generates a path that has no collision with the obstacles or the characters by using the three motion parameters, and automatically creates natural motions of characters that are confined to the path. Our method consists of three parameters: the joint information parameter, the behavior information parameter, and the environment information parameter. The joint information parameters are extracted from the joint angle data of the character and this information is used when creating a path following motion by finding the relation-function of the parameters on each joint. A user can set the behavior information parameter such as velocity, status, and preference and this information is used for creating different paths, motions, and collision avoidance patterns. A user can create the virtual environment such as road and obstacle, also. The environment is stored as environment information parameters to be used later in generating a path without collision. The path is generated using Hermit-curve and each control point is set at important places.

초기하중을 받는 로켓모타 케이스 나사체결부의 구조해석 (Structural Analysis for Thread Joint Part of Rocket Motor Case Applied Pre-load)

  • Behaviour of a thread joint of a rocket motor case show complex structural characteristics. Pre-torque must be applied to the threads to prevent the loosening of the interface from the additional pressure load. During the pressurization of the rocket motor case, the jointing face may be opened if the pre-torque were not set properly or the structure may be failed if the local concentrated stress exceeds the strength of the material. In this paper, the structural behaviour of a thread joint of a rocket motor case were analyzed by the finite element method and the results were compared to the experimental ones. A method to set a pre-torque for a thread joint were proposed to ensure the structural safety.

Construction of minimum time joint trajectory for an industrial manipulator using FTM

  • The path of an industrial manipulator in a crowded workspace generally consists of 8 set of Cartesian straight line path connecting a set of two adjacent points. To achieve the Cartesian straight line path is, however, a nontrivial task and an alternative approach is to place enough intermediate points along a desired path and linearly interpolate between these points in the joint space. A method is developed that determines the subtravelling- and the transition-time such that the total travelling time for this path is minimized subject to the maximum joint velocities and accelerations constraint. The method is based on the application of nonlinear programming technique, i.e., FTM (Flexible Tolerance Method). These results are simulated on a digital computer using a six-joint revolute manipulator to show their applications.

달 착륙선의 히터 작동온도 설정에 따른 솔더 접합부의 구조적 신뢰성 분석 (Investigation of Structural Reliability on Solder Joint According to Heater Set-point of the Lunar Lander)

  • 달 착륙선에는 14일에 이르는 밤 구간동안 극한의 열환경에서 생존하기 위한 열원공급을 목적으로 히터가 적용되며, 이 때 전력생성이 제한되는 착륙선의 소요전력을 최소화하는 히터 작동 온도 설정치가 결정되어야 한다. 또한 상기 온도 설정치에 따른 착륙선의 온도 변화는 탑재 전장품에 적용된 전자소자의 솔더 접합부에 대한 열기계적 신뢰성과 연관되는 중요한 설계인자이다. 본 논문에서는 임무수명이 1년인 달 착륙선의 열해석 결과를 토대로 상용 신뢰성 수명예측도구인 Sherlock을 활용하여 상기의 온도 설정치에 따른 솔더 접합부의 열 기계적 신뢰성을 검토하였다.
