치과위생사의 성격유형에 따른 전문직 정체성과 회복탄력성 및 직무만족도 연구 (A study on professional identity, resilience, and job satisfaction according to the personality types of dental hygienists)

  • Objectives: This study analyzes professional identity, resilience, and job satisfaction based on the personality types of dental hygienists, and identifies factors that impact job satisfaction. The aim was to provide basic information for developing customized education programs for each personality type, which consequently contribute toward improvement of job satisfaction in dental hygienists. Methods: A total of 215 dental hygienists working at dental hospitals and clinics in the Seoul and Gyeonggi provinces were ask to fill an online survey from June 20 to 30, 2022; of these, 214 surveys were considered for statistical analysis. Results: The professional identity of dental hygienists was correlated with resilience (r=0.750) and job satisfaction (r=0.452), and resilience was correlated with job satisfaction (r=0.539) (p<0.001). The factor affecting job satisfaction of dental hygienists was resilience (β=0.495) (p<0.001). Conclusions: In order to improve the job satisfaction of dental hygienists, it is necessary to implement a test that can identify individual characteristics. Accordingly, it will be necessary to develop a customized education program to improve professional identity and resilience.

임상간호사의 전문직업성과 조직몰입 및 직무만족과의 관계 (Relations Among Professionalism, Organizational Commitment and Job Satisfaction among Clinical Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relations among professionalism, organizational commitment and job satisfaction, and to the investigate the influencing factors of organizational commitment and job satisfaction among clinical nurses. Methods: The participants were 386 nurses sampled from Seoul and Gyeonggi provinces. A structured questionnaire was used to collect data, and the data were analyzed by applying t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression with SAS 8.12. Results: A positive correlation existed among professionalism, organizational commitment and job satisfaction. Major factors that influenced organizational commitment were job satisfaction, religion, educational status, and a sense of calling (one of the subcategories of professionalism), which explained 54.1%. Major factors that affected job satisfaction were organizational commitment, educational status, and the subcategories of professionalism including a sense of calling, a service to the public, self-regulation and professional autonomy, which explained 60.8%. Conclusion: Based on the findings of this study, the professionalism is one of the critical factors linked to organizational commitment and job satisfaction among clinical nurses. In order to promote organizational commitment and job satisfaction among nurses, an appropriate practical support system, which is applicable to diverse conditions, should be developed and applied in nursing.

The Relationship between Clinical Consultation and Worker's Job Satisfaction

  • Purpose: The primary objective of this study is to explore the relationship between clinical consultation and job satisfaction among healthcare workers. Specific objectives include: (1) Identifying the key components of clinical consultation that influence job satisfaction. (2) Analyzing the relationship between clinical consultation and job satisfaction among healthcare workers. (3) Providing insights and recommendations for improving job satisfaction through enhanced clinical consultation practices. Research design, data and methodology: This research uses a systematic literature review research methodology to analyze the correlation between clinical consultation and job satisfaction among healthcare workers. Systematic literature reviews are a reliable and reproducible approach of searching for, selecting, appraising and synthesizing the relevant literature on the topic under consideration. Results: The findings of the present research presents the positive relationships between clinical consultation and job satisfaction, emphasizing four main consultation factors to maximize clinical effects. The four key consultation factors as follows: (1) Emotional Support, (2) Professional Development, (3) Feedback, (4) Peer Interaction. Conclusions: All in all, the results of the present research will be useful for healthcare managers and policy makers in terms of promoting mechanisms for increasing job satisfaction which will positively impact organizational staffs' and organizational clients' well-being.

직무만족(職務滿足)과 관련(關聯) 변인(變人)에 관한 연구(硏究) (A Study on the Job Satisfaction and It's related Variables)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the job satisfaction of the dental technicians and evalate the relationship between it’s scores and certain variables. One hundred eighty dental technicians were sampled from 300 among the 2552 dental technicians by wide distribution method, in September 1990. Data were collected by administering the instrument, the researcher developed for measuring the independent and dependent variables. The statistical methods utilized in this study were one-way analysis of variance, correlation and multiple regression analysis. The data were analyzed by SPSS(Statistical Package for Social Science), utilizing PC. The statistical significance was tested at 0.05 level. The major findings of the study were as follows : 1. The job satisfaction measuring instrument, the researcher developed, could measured the job satisfaction of dental technicians. The Maximum score of the instrument was 125, the highest score of dental technicians was 106, the lowest score was obtained 38, the mean score was 72.228 and standard deviation was 12.804. 2. The personal variables of dental technicians were related with the job satisfaction scores. The job satisfaction scores were positively correlated, at 0.01 level, with the scores of age(r=0.379), year(r=0.218), aptitude(r=0.415), marry(r=0.202), income(r=0.381), career(r=0.316). 3. The family variables scores of dental technicians were not correlated with the job satisfaction scores. 4. The personal characteristics of dental technicians were related with the job satisfaction. The job satisfaction score were positively correlated beyond the significant level, with the cheerfulness scores(r=0.398) and stability scores(r=0.224). 5. The job-related variables of the dental technicians were related with the job satisfaction scores. The correlation coefficient between job satisfaction scores and turnover scores was r=0.23, and quantity scores was r=0.300.

장애인근로자의 직무스트레스와 직무만족에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Relationships between Job Stress and Job Satisfaction of Disabled Workers)

  • This paper examined the relationship between job stressor and job satisfaction according to the general property of disabled workers. Role ambiguity, role conflict, and role overload were cast as the factors of job satisfaction to explore their relationship with the general property and type of disabled workers. The results revealed that role ambiguity had the strongest meaningful relationships with job satisfaction and role conflict, role overload had not shown the meaningful relationships with their Job satisfaction. The reason of this results seemed to be from the fact that the work type available or not available to disabled worker was determined beforehand according to their disability type. Finally, these findings provide a guidelines of efficiency human resource management and strategic development program for the disabled workers.

  • Purpose: This study was to identify of the relationship of self-directed learning with job satisfaction and organizational commitment of nurses. Method: The subjects were 247 nurses who were working for the 5 of hospitals in Seoul, Daejeon and Kyong Ki. This study was conducted from Sep to Dec 2006. The data was collected by questionnaires and were analyzed using descriptive statistics, pearson correlation coefficients. Result: The self-directed learning was influenced significantly by the last school career, married state and job career. The job satisfaction was influenced significantly by job career. The organizational commitment was influenced significantly by age and job career. The self-directed learning is related with job satisfaction and organizational commitment of nurses. Conclusion: The findings indicated that the self-directed learning of nurses is important factor for improving job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Therefore it may be necessary further to develop the self-directed learning training program for efficiently nurse's education.

치과기공사에 있어서 직무만족도와 삶의 질의 관련성 (The Relationship between Job Satisfaction and Quality of Life in Dental Technicians)

  • This study was carried out to measure job satisfaction and quality of life and to clarify the factors in job satisfaction which influence on quality of life of dental technicians, using developed tools for job satisfaction and WHOQOL-BREF for quality of life. The subjects for this study were 238 people who worked the in the Daegu-Kyungbuk area. The results of this study were as follows; the general characteristics that influenced job satisfaction, were especially education, hobbies, salary level, job career and work hours. The factors that influenced the quality of life, were especially Married status, hobbies, job position, and office hours. All subfactors in job satisfaction were related to each other. Growth-development factor was intensely related with recognition factor. Also, all subfactors in quality of life were in positive relation to each other, especially psychological domain was highly related with social domain. Factors of safety, recognition and accomplishment in job satisfaction intensely affected quality of life. Therefore, It is suggested that social recognition for dental technician should be promoted and it might be needed to adjust office hours and support hobby life.

An Analysis of the Positive and Negative Factors Affecting Job Satisfaction Using Topic Modeling

  • When a competent employee leaves an organization, the technical skills and know-how possessed by that employee also disappear, which may lead to various problems, such as a decrease in organizational morale and technology leakage. To address such problems, it is important to increase employees' job satisfaction. Due to the advancement of both information and communication technology and social media, many former and current employees share information regarding companies in which they have worked or for which they currently work via job portal websites. In this study, a web crawl was used to collect reviews and job satisfaction ratings written by all and incumbent employees working in nine industries from Job Planet, a Korean job portal site. According to this analysis, regardless of the industry in question, organizational culture, welfare support, work system, growth capability and relationships had significant positive effects on job satisfaction, while time and attendance management, performance management, and organizational flexibility had significant negative effects on job satisfaction. With respect to the path difference between former and current employees, time and attendance management and organizational flexibility have greater negative effects on job satisfaction for current employees than for former employees. On the other hand, organizational culture, work system, and relationships had greater positive effects for current employees than for former employees.

코로나19 팬데믹 초기 서울지역 영양(교)사의 직무스트레스가 자기효능감, 직무만족 및 직무몰입에 미치는 영향 (Job Stress among School Nutrition Teachers and Dietitians in Seoul during the Early Stage of the COVID-19 Pandemic: Effects on Self-Efficacy, Job Satisfaction, and Job Involvement)

  • This study was undertaken to assess levels of job stress, self-efficacy, job satisfaction, and job involvement as perceived by school dietitians/nutrition teachers during the early stage of the COVID-19 pandemic and to determine the effects of these three factors. An online survey was sent from May 18 to May 26, 2021, to school dietitians/nutrition teachers in Seoul with experience of foodservice operations during 2020; 250 responses were used for this analysis. Job demands contributed most to job stress, whereas human relations contributed most to job satisfaction. Job stress caused by COVID-19 had a negative impact on self-efficacy (P<0.01) and job satisfaction (P<0.01), but a positive impact on job involvement (P<0.05). Self-efficacy positively impacted job involvement (P<0.01) but did not significantly influence job satisfaction. However, job satisfaction during early COVID-19 positively impacted job involvement (P<0.05). In conclusion, job stress associated with job requirements was greater during the early stage of the COVID-19 pandemic than before the pandemic guidelines are needed that enable school dietitians/nutrition teachers to better cope with the job pressures generated by infectious diseases.

시설경비업 종사자의 근무환경이 직무스트레스와 직무만족에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Work Environment on Job Stress and Job Satisfaction of Facility Security Worker)

  • 본 연구는 근무환경, 직무스트레스가 직무만족에 미치는 영향을 규명하기 위하여 2019년 8월 7일부터 8월 13일까지 약 7일 간 대전, 충남, 경기지역에서 근무하는 시설경비업 종사자 315명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 총 315부의 자료 중 미응답 및 부적절한 응답을 제외한 293부의 자료를 최종적으로 수집하였다. 수집된 자료의 분석을 위하여 STATA 14.2통계 패키지 프로그램을 사용하였으며, 조사 대상자들의 분포비율을 알아보기 위해 빈도분석(frequency analysis)을 실시하였고, 설정된 주요 변인들에 관한 근무환경, 직무스트레스, 직무만족의 신뢰도분석(reliability analysis)과 상관분석(correlation analysis)을 실시하였다. 다음으로 인구통계학적 특성에 따른 근무환경, 직무스트레스, 직무만족요인의 차이를 검증하기 위해 t-test, 일원변량분석(One-way ANOVA)을 실시하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 인구통계학적 특성에 따른 근무환경, 직무스트레스, 직무만족인식에는 차이가 있었다. 세부적으로 근무환경 요인에서는 연령, 학력, 근무년수, 임금(월급여), 근무형태가 근무환경 인식에서 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다. 직무스트레스 요인에서는 연령, 학력, 임금(월급여), 근무형태가 직무스트레스 인식에서 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다. 직무만족 요인에서는 연령, 학력, 근무년수, 임금(월급여)이 직무만족 인식에 있어 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다. 또한 근무환경, 직무스트레스, 직무만족의 관계를 알아보기 위한 다중회귀분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 근무환경이 직무스트레스에 미치는 영향에서 관계갈등, 직무불안정은 부(-)적 관계를, 직무요구와 직무자율은 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 직무스트레스가 직무만족에 미치는 영향에서 직무스트레스는 직무만족에 부(-)적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 관계갈등(동료 격려), 직무자율성이 있으면 직무만족이 높아지고, 직무요구와 직무불안정에 대한 인식이 증가하면 직무만족이 낮아지는 것으로 나타났다. 근무환경은 직무만족에 정(+)적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 직무환경, 근무촉진, 조직특성이 좋을수록 직무만족이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과에 따라 근무환경이 좋을수록 직무스트레스는 낮아지며, 직무스트레스가 낮을수록 직무만족이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 근무환경이 좋을수록 직무만족이 높은 것으로 나타나, 근무환경의 개선을 통해 경비업 종사자들의 근무환경 개선이 직무스트레스를 감소시키고, 나아가 직무만족도를 향상시킬 수 있다는 실증적 연구결과를 검증하였다.
