Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it seems to have been impossible to run offline training courses. To overcome this situation, online training courses has been emerged. Just moving the educational environment from offline to online instead of re-designing the curriculum, however, is not effective for trainees. To maximize educational effectiveness, it is necessary to re-design the curriculum based on constructivist appoach which gives trainees experience on skills and knowledge about their job. As for re-designing the curriculum into real-time online practical learning based on constructivism, learning satisfaction and work efficacy of trainees may have been increased. From these results, HRD professionals in an IT company should need to consider how to structure the curriculum when they design the real-time online practical learnings.

So far, the field has seen various studies on the development of competencies, performance evaluation, and the importance of outcome-based education, but few studies have documented the development of such an education model. Therefore, this study develops an OBE curriculum for dentistry education and describes the development procedures and then finally this study intends to share our experience to other dental schools. As the competition among college graduates in the job market keeps getting intense, the educators' role of preparing students to get well adapted to the job environments should be more emphasized. However, in reality, many firms admit that many entry-level employees out of college need to be reeducated in a variety of areas. To resolve this problem, the current paper aims to propose some suggestions for a better school curriculum that reflects the needs and demands of the industry. The present proposal is based on my empirical knowledge from the department of computer science of the college where I am teaching and can be applied to other colleges. The suggestions for restructuring of a curriculum are expected to help students actively deal with the trend of developing technology. This restructured curriculum should help colleges produce workers with a good balance of academy and industry who can be assigned to work without being reeducated in the field.
The purpose of this study was to establish the role of master gardener coordinators and develop an education program to enhance their job competencies. To analyze and develop the new job of master gardener coordinator, we used the CBC method for curriculum development. The research findings can be summarized as follows. The analysis result of need and importance of education based on the performance level and demand level revealed 20 core competencies, which were classified into organizational education, learning by experience, individual learning, low-priority competencies for program development, with focus on the importance and need for education. The 17 courses are comprised of Eastern and Western Garden History, Understanding of Community Garden, Garden Aesthetics and Environmental Design, Master Gardener's Mission & Management, Garden Plants, and Garden Design and Practice etc. and the curriculum is 33 hours in total. The master gardener coordinator education program was conducted on 73 rural extension workers and the curriculum was evaluated by those who completed the program. The overall satisfaction was 4.29 and 97.1% of the trainees decided that the program would help them perform their duties. The analysis result discovered that all 20 core competencies increased after the program. As a result of conducting contingent valuation to determine the value of the program, willingness to pay (WTP) per hour was KRW 33,223 and the total WTP was KRW 1.096 million, which, when multiplied by 73 participants, is approximately KRW 80.008 million. This is relatively higher than the budget used (KRW 22.943 million), indicating that the program is worth it.
This article critically examines the backgrounds and meanings of National Competency Standards (NCS) that is employed by Korean colleges for managing performance-based, competency-based curriculum. Findings are as follows: 1) the NCS-based curriculum was primarily adopted to enhance students' business competency for their successes in a competitive job market. 2) NCS is questioned its efficacy to resolve Korean employment issues in a serious economic structure in which a growing number of jobless youth and aged employees and education discrimination are involved. 3) NCS, with its emphasis on the Tyler Rationale and principles of scientific curriculum development, has many criticisms due to its technical approaches to educational processes and needs to be replaced with an alternative paradigm. 4) This article suggests that administrators, policy makers, and educators seek ways to resolve NCS issues considering contextual features of Korean job market and rethinking NCS ideology in the education process. A need for curriculum reconceptualisation is discussed.
The aim of study is to suggest the improvement of the major curriculum used in the department of furniture design in two-year colleges. For this purpose two processes were conducted step by step. The first phase was to evaluate the jobs selected by job analysis specialist and staffs in charge in July 2009, and to analyze what are the desired points for the good adaptability and business improvement in case that student would find job in relevant field after graduating from colleges. Furniture design coordinator hereupon was selected as the object and DACUM (Developing A CurriculUM) was applied to the method of job analysis. In the second process conducted from September 2009 to October 2010, the customized curriculum based on the result from the first phase was newly opened to help student create any design result. This study was composed of the result of job analysis, the customized curriculum based on it and the research of efficiency through the end result and finally the discussion how to improve the customized education for the future. It is no doubt very important process for the step up of quality of college education, the improvement of students' competence and their good adaptability after finding jobs. This study should lay the foundation of different job analysis and the customized curriculums accordingly for not only furniture design coordinator, also for various furniture design-related jobs, and furthermore it should be expected that the continuous research and development contributes to the realization of college education to raise excellent students.

A TF(task force) team was formed to study a operation strategy of a track curriculum and the opinions of campus members and educationist were gathered. Such systematic preparation was performed for the introduction of the track. Based on those works, a track-based curriculum has been operating from 2012 spring semester. Most of Korea's beauty college education focuses on the subject rather than the industrial field of the industrialized world. It is centered on subjects rather than on-site job modules, and training sessions are required for graduation of the training period rather than having flexible configurations. Therefore, the education curriculum and industrial field training are becoming mismatched because of the goal of acquiring a certificate in skin care major subjects. Based on this problem, the researcher made a questionnaire about the certificate utilization of students who are majoring in skin care and 294 students were surveyed. It was found that it had a high degree of utilization to take a job, but that it had below normal level on utilization after entering the industrial field. Based on this analysis result, I propose to review the need to reorganize the skin care curriculum, which is based on the national competency standards (NCS) beginning in 2014. Education experts at the college of skin care should continue to develop a curriculum centered on academic subjects and industrial field curriculum as closely as possible, by focusing on the direction and trend of the industry's branches and industry experts.
