  • The purpose of this study was trying to figure out the effective employment guidance plan through employment preparation of graduating senior in department affiliated with physical education and recent situation. This study was compared to 2013 Graduates Occupational Mobility Survey(GOMS). Data were collected from 164 graduating seniors in the department affiliated with physical education from 5 institutions of a 4-year university located in Gyeonggi-do, Seoul, and ChungChong-do by convenience sampling. For the data analysis, a descriptive statistic, frequency analysis, and one-samples t-test were conducted. Graduating seniors participating in school employment programs had a lower rate but the average rate of participation in career & employment classes and vocational test was more than 50%. They were satisfied with university education and career support but employment program and welfare facilities are in need of improvement. Furthermore, graduating seniors have national and private certificates related to major. Finally, they have very low participation rates in youth employment policies of government. Based on the results, the effective job placement guideline for the department affiliated with physical education is needed.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the needs of educators, learners and parents in elementary schools for implementing a systematic nutrition education program by nutrition teachers to begin in 2006. The subjects were 833 dietitians, 808 principals, 3,141 teachers, 7,577 students and 6,003 parents in elementary schools. A fairly large proportion of the principals (98.4%), teachers (95.5%), parents (96.6%) and students (62.8%) responded that nutrition education is urgently needed. Every dietitian, principal and teacher has recognized that for the enforcement of a nutrition program in the future, the placement of one nutrition teacher in every school is needed without a moment's delay. Many subjects responded that elementary low grades are the most proper time for nutrition education for students and it is also needed to extend this not only to students, but also parents and teachers who have a direct influence on them. In the education hour, they responded that it is proper one hour a month for teachers and one hour a week for students. Fifty-six percent of dietitians, 58.3% of principals and 67.0% of teachers responded that the best educational way to heighten the effect of nutrition education was education through discretional activities. It was found that 46.4% of students have wanted nutrition education to be enforced during special activities. Education through their school homepage or in-school broadcasting system, while it has been most utilized, was low in a degree of preference with 10.9%. In regards to a nutrition program, principals and parents have attached much importance to the dining etiquette, dietary attitudes, and relations of foodstuffs with health, while dietitians and teachers have made much of a balanced eating habit, and the relations of dietary life with health. Finally, for a nutrition program to be enforced towards a direction that the educators and students want, it is judged that first of all the role of nutrition teachers is the most important, furthermore the support of manpower and the budget should be made.

  • Electric arc furnace slag is made in ironworks during steel refining, it is been increasing chemical and physical resistibility using ageing method of unstable state of melting steel slag for using concrete's fine aggregates. Which is been changing stable molecular structure of aggregates, it restrains moving of ion and molecule. In Korea, KS F 4571 has been prepared for using the electric arc furnace oxidizing slag to concrete aggregates(EFS). In this study, Electric arc furnace oxidizing slag is used in the PRCC(Polymer Rapid setting Cement Concrete) which is applied a bridge pavement of rehabilitation, largely. The results showed that the increment of compressive strength development by 10- 20%. The flexural strength of EFS-Con increased greatly as the electric arc furnace oxidizing slag changed. The compressive strength and flexural strength developed enough for opening the overlayed EFS-Con to the traffic after 4 hours of EFS-Con placement. The permeability of EFS-Con was evaluated as negligible due to its very low charge passed. Thus, EFS-Con could be used at repairing or overlaying the concrete at fast-track job sites.

  • Firstly, our Technical and Vocational Education and Training(TVET) ODA currently uses 70% of its budget on short-term assistance project works without much consideration for continuity from one project to another. Secondly, TVET ODA budget is much too concentrated on hardware support, lowering impact compared to the amount invested. Lastly, there is a lack of research on the needs of recipient nation which leads to lowering effectiveness of TVET ODA. This Study analyzed the characteristics of Korea's TVET ODA through the statistical data analysis of ODA. This study's main focus is to recommend methods for Korean colleges to overcome tendencies and limitations of TVET within Korea's ODA. Colleges have advantages in training students to fit needs of the market and companies based on decades of experience colleges have on academic-industrial collaboration. Colleges can also transfer qualification verification systems to fit the recipient country and dispatch TVET related personnel to strengthen software support. Additionally, the post project evaluation and post job placement management capabilities of colleges can be actively used for post management of TVET projects. I hope that through this study, ways to increase participation of colleges in TVET ODA can be discussed in more variety.

  • In the development of a university library's collection, the concept of patron-driven acquisition refers to a collection strategy that addresses users' direct information needs. In this study, an analysis of ten years' worth of book requests by user types was conducted to understand the topic preferences for efficient collection devleopment in the university library. In collection development, identifying subject areas of users' requested books is necessary for librarians to identify key areas of collection development and establish balanced collection development policies. To identify the major subject areas for each user group, KDC (Korean Decimal Classification) subject classifications were used, and network analysis techniques were applied to investigate the relationships between book topics in detail. The analysis revealed that "social sciences" emerged as the major topic across all user groups. However, in the analysis of sub-topics, "medicine" and "psychology" were distinctively identified as the major subject areas for graduate students, setting them apart from other user groups. The result of the network analysis further indicated that undergraduate students showed unique topics such as civil service, job placement, and career, which were not observed as major topic clusters in other user groups. On the other hand, graduate students tended to concentrate on a few specialized subjects, forming distinct topic clusters in the analysis.
