A Study on the Job Analysis of Job Competency Assessor (직무능력평가사의 직무분석에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of the job competency assessor who assess achievement of job performance ability based on NCS (educational training, qualifications, field experience, etc.) through competency assessment. For this purpose, job analysis including development and verification of the job model and selection of core task are conducted. As a result, main duties of the job competency assessor are to understand the NCS based assessment principle, establish an assessment plan, design and develop assessment tools, assess competence, provide feedback and re-assessment, record and manage assessment result, verify the internal assessment result, establish the RPL (recognition of prior learning) plan, implement the RPL and verify the RPL assessment result, and 48 task are derived. In addition, a total of 21 core tasks are derived based on the threshold value multiplied by the importance and difficulty of the task for each duty. Based on this, implications for job analysis of the job competency assessor are presented.

  • this paper, to represent the robot motion approximately in space, delas with algorithm for position recognition of space robot, target and obstacle with vision system in 2-D. And also there are algorithms for precise distance-measuring and calibration usign laser displacement system, and for trajectory selection for optimizing moving to object, and for robot locomtion with air-thrust valve. And the software synthesizing of these algorithms hleps operator to realize the situation certainly and perform the job without any difficulty.

  • Many heuristics have been developed in order to overcome the computational complexity of job shop problems. In this research, we develop a new heuristic by selecting four simple dispatching rules, i.e., SPT, LPT, SR and LR, dynamically as scheduling proceeds. The selection is accomplished by using artificial neural networks. As a result of testing on 50 problems, the makespan obtained by our heuristic is, on the average, 13.0% shorter than the longest makespan, and 0.4% shorter than the shortest makespan obtained by existing dispatching rules.

  • This study is a descriptive survey research to know the levels of job satisfaction and influential factors for emergency medical technicians(EMT). This study sampled Level 1 and Level 2 Rescue Members from fire stations and EMT from general hospitals in the Gwangju City and JeollaNamdo area. Interviews for the 75 participants of this convenience sample were conducted for a two month period from July to September 2006. Data was collected on interviewing questionnaires. When looking at the results above internal factions were most influential towards satisfaction and self-responsibility, fulfillment, displays of Aptitude were highest for satisfaction. However, organizational factors were the lowest. There is a need for reform in promotion term periods and policy as well as promotion opportunities. Influential factors for job satisfaction were Role Performance Ability, Intentions for Changing Jobs, and Job Selection Motivation. Therefore, the more insufficient your ability to perform your job the less satisfied you are with it and the more fear you feel from experiences on the job the less satisfied you are with your job. Henceforth, there is a need to reform the educational programs offered to EMT for job training emphasizing job performance ability and the ability to judge for oneself on emergency situations, and reform the promotional system. Finally, there is a need for psychological consultation to offer stability to those after treating an emergency situation and encouragement for personal religion.

Time management behavior, Job satisfaction and organizational commitment in nurses (간호사의 시간관리 행동 유형, 직무만족 및 직무몰입)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the difference between job satisfaction and organizational commitment by the type of time management behavior in clinical nurses. Total 208 nurses were recruited from clinical settings where located in Seoul and Daejeon, South Korea. Data were collected using self-administered method with structured questionnaire between August 2012 and January 2013. Descriptive statistics, K-mean cluster analysis, one-way ANOVA were performed for data analysis. As results, the type of time management behavior were classified into four types such as unconcern type, accomplishment type, urgency type and selection & concentration type. Among four types, nurses who belonged to be accomplishment and selection & concentration type were tend to have positive behaviors in terms of time managements as they had high scores in job satisfaction. Therefore, further study on whether types of time management are related with organizational culture including commitment and effectiveness should be explored.

  • This study was carried out to analyze the job of care managers in their social welfare practicing fields about the frequency of care management duties they perform, types of duties considered to be most important and the reason, and types of jobs counted to be the most difficult and the reason by qualitative case study research methods. The job area of care management was elicited using DACUM method, and those 9 job areas derived from it were analysed according to frequency of performance, importance and difficulty. The subjects were 10 social workers serving more than 3 years with major duty of care management and chosen by reputational-case selection, and those collected data analysis was operated according to embedded analysis types. We discussed the implication of this research. : The experience of participants are the process of maintaining the tension, and search the equilibrium point between client centered service and institutional pressure.   • This paper is concerned with selection evaluation technique among three major performance evaluation techniques which are suitable for new computer system selection. It will discuss benchmarks, synthetic programs and simulation among various techniques for selection evaluation. It will show a formal technique using integer programming models for selecting a suitable job mix. It will suggest a simple method for comparing performance evaluation results. It will also provide benchmarks and synthetic program operation rules and expected outputs in appendix.

  • This study on the training of police officers job satisfaction and job performance is to identify the relationship. This study of 2012 Police Training Institute courses in related expenses 5 population in the process of initiation of a national police officer selection, and note that the sampling method used to extract a total of 300 samples, but the number of cases that were used in the final analysis, 268 people. Data processing by the SPSSWIN 18.0 factor analysis, reliability analysis, multiple regression, path analysis. Conclusions are as follows. First, the police officer's training affects job satisfaction. In other words, work-related, of course the more positive the evaluation of job training job satisfaction is high, education, the stronger the motivation and job satisfaction also higher education can be. Second, the education and training of police officers affects job performance. In other words, work-related, educational motivation, job training curriculum for the more positive job performance rating is also high. Third, the police officer's job satisfaction affects job performance. In other words, education can be a higher job performance and job satisfaction also high. Fourth, the training of police officers on the job satisfaction and job performance directly or indirectly affected. That is, the internal job satisfaction and job performance, job training parameters are the important variables.

Determinants of Moonlighting: the Case of the Married Workers in Korea (부업 참여 및 부업 근로시간의 결정요인: 기혼자를 중심으로)

  • This study examined the moonlighting behavior in Korea, to which relatively less attention has been paid. Based on the wage earners of 25 to 65 year old married, the results show that about 1.4% of the sample have dual jobs, working very long hours, on average 60 hours for a week combining both the primary job and the secondary job. The results of the fixed effects logit model on the moonlighting participation indicate that the wage rate and the hours of work in the primary job have a negative effect on moonlighting participation while the insecurity of the primary job appears to lead to a higher probability of taking a secondary job. The results of the moonlighting hours analysis suggest that hours worked in the primary job have a negative effect on moonlight hours while the wage of the primary job does not appear to have any significant effect on moonlighting hours. Interestingly enough, the wage of the secondary job appears to have a negative impact on moonlighting hours, which might be very plausible considering the long working hours moonlighters are engaged in.

Effect of Job Satisfaction, Organizational Culture, and Social Support on Intention Retention among General Hospital Nurses (종합병원 간호사의 직무만족, 조직문화, 사회적 지지가 재직의도에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: This study aumed to identify the effects of job satisfaction, nursing organizational culture and social support on intention retention among general hospital nurses. Methods: The subjects were 254 nurses working in one general hospital. Data were collected from January 1 to 30, 2023. Data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression analysis using the SPSS/WIN 25.0 program. Results: (a) In this study, the mean value of job satisfaction was 3.07±0.43, relation-oriented culture was 3.45±0.51, hierarchy-oriented culture was 3.39±0.49, task-oriented culture was 3.35±0.48, innovation-oriented culture was 3.00±0.46, social support was 3.75±0.49, and intention retention was 4.98±1.39. (b) Intention retention had a positive correlation with job satisfaction (r=.41, p<.001), social support (r=.29, p<.001), innovation-oriented culture (r=.29, p<.001), relation-oriented culture (r=.20, p=.001), and hierarchy-oriented culture (r=.18, p=.002). (c) Factors that affect intention retention include job satisfaction (β=.41, p<.001), Working type (Non-shift) (β=.18, p=.001), Nursing job selection (Recommendation, employment) (β=-.16, p=.003), and the explanation power was 23.1% (F=9.43, p<.001). Conclusion: Our study shows that job satisfaction plays a significant role in the intention retention of nurses. It is important to strengthen job satisfaction to increase the retention of nurses. The results of this study may serve as basic data for the development of strategies to improve intention retention in nurses.
