간호이미지에 관한 의사, 간호사, 병원직원 및 일반인의 견해 비교분석 (A Comparative Study of the Opinon on the Image of Nursing Among the Doctors, Nurses, other Hospital Personnel and the General Public)

  • The hospital is not the place for functional isolationalism, that is, for each department to do their own activities independently. Rather it is an organization in which each part is joined together and concentrating on the same objectives. The hospital must maintain a one-system-function, so that all the resources of the hospital may be used efficiently. Although we do not yet completely understand how the nursing image as perceived by the medical team and the other members of the interdisciplinary team affects nursing practice. It is important to identify how the client recognizes the nursing image as this will influence the growth of the nursing profession directly and indirectly. So we must reevaluate the nursing image as presented to the client and find the ways to present them with a better image of nursing. The study procedures were as follow; First, the image of nurses was analyzed. The subjects for this study were 270 nurses, 172 doctors, 237 hospital employees, and 240 patients and their families from 5 local branches of the Yonsei Medical Center. The four negative responses shown in this study are as follows; 1) Nurses don't listen to patients. 2) Nurses are self-centered. 3) Nurses and careless. 4) Nurses are mechanical. Second, the concrete causes of the four negative responses were analyzed. Third, the contribution of the nurses for clinical practice, research and education was analyzed. Data were collected by questionnaires all seps of the research. Data were analyzed by use of SPSS/PC. In conclusion, the image of nurses differed according to which group, the respondents belonged. Generally, the public have a positive image of nurses, but hospital employees have a negative images of nurses. Further the nurses gave themselves a low grade. They showed negative as to the value of their job, professionality and their contribution to clinical practice when it was compared to that of the doctors.

남자간호사의 자기 이미지와 영향요인에 대한 통합적 문헌고찰 (An Integrative Literature Review on Male Nurses' Self-Image and Influencing Factors)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 남자간호사 이미지와 관련된 연구들을 통합적으로 고찰하여, 남자간호사의 자기 이미지와 영향요인을 알아보기 위함이다. 분석대상 논문은 2009년에서 2019년 사이에 발표된 논문 중 남자간호사의 자기 이미지와 관련된 12개의 논문이다. 우리는 문헌고찰을 통해 남자간호사의 자기 이미지로 1) 그냥 간호사, 2) 기회의 직업, 3) 직업 정체성 모호, 4) 제한된 역할의 4개 주제를 도출되었다. 남자간호사의 자기 이미지에 영향을 미치는 요인은 3개의 주제로 도출되었으며, 구체적으로 1) 간호역량, 2) 사회적 성 고정관념, 3) 남자간호사 롤 모델 부재이다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 남자간호사의 자기 이미지를 향상시키기 위한 전략 마련이 필요하며, 추후 남자간호사의 사회적 역할과 인식 제고를 위해 남자간호사의 대중적 이미지를 알아보는 연구가 필요하다.

Validity and Reliability of a Tool Measuring Long-Term Employment Factors among Dental Hygienists

  • Dental hygienists are important members of any dental clinic. They are recognized as reflecting the dental clinic's image because they spend a lot of time with patients. The longer the dental hygienist is employed, the better the relationship with the patients and the medical service provided. The purpose of the present study was to develop a scale to measure factors of long-term employment among dental hygienists. The basic questions were constructed by analyzing tools used to measure job embeddedness and satisfaction. Forty-one questions were developed that measured organizational fit (13), interpersonal relationships (8), job satisfaction (7), duty satisfaction (6), recognition (4), and self-esteem (3). A questionnaire survey was conducted, and the responses from 297 dental hygienists in dental clinics, after the exclusion of 20 incomplete surveys, were used for the exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses. As revealed by exploratory factor analysis, long-term employment intention was composed of 7 factors consisting of 29 items after the exclusion of 12. The subsequent confirmatory factor analysis revealed 4 factors ("organizational fit," "professional identity," "job connectivity," and "interpersonal relationship") consisting of 16 items, after the exclusion of 13. $Cronbach^{\prime}s\;{\alpha}$ were 0806, 0.836, 0.700, and 0.684 for the four factors. This study is meaningful in that it developed a long-term employment factor measurement tool that can be applied to domestic dental hygienists. Future studies will need to focus more on professional identity and job outcomes. The results of this study and future related ones could be used to improve dental hygienist's continuous service.

샵 창업 시 중요사항에 따른 피부관리샵 운영 특성 및 직업만족도 (A Study on The Characteristics of Aesthetic Salon Operation and Job Satisfaction by Important Aspects in Launching Aesthetic Salon Business)

  • 본 연구는 샵 창업 시 중요사항에 따른 피부관리샵 운영 특성 및 직업만족도에 대한 차이를 살펴보고, 보다 나은 소규모 피부관리샵 운영을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 현재 전국 각 지역에서 소규모 피부관리샵을 운영중인 원장들을 대상으로 2016년 1월~ 3월의 기간을 두고 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 샵 창업 시 교통수단 및 주차편리성을 중요사항으로 생각한 운영자들이 오랜 근무년수, 샵 운영기간, 높은 월 고정수입, 최고수익의 비율이 각각 가장 높았다. 직업만족도(F=3.223, p<.05)에서는 창업 시 중요사항으로 유동인구를 중요하게 생각하는 운영자가 가장 높았고(M=4.11), 투자비용을 중요하게 생각하는 운영자의 직업만족도가 가장 낮았다(M=3.41). 세부적으로 직업 재선택 의향(F=2.960, p<.05)에서는 교통수단 및 주차편리성(M=3.95)을 삽 창업 시 중요하게 생각하는 운영자가 가장 높았다. 따라서 샵 창업 시 중요사항에 따른 안정적인 운영을 위해서는 유동인구가 많고, 교통수단 및 주차 편리성이 높은 위치파악과 선정으로 고객의 접근성과 직업만족도를 높이는 것이 필요할 것이다. 또한 후속 연구에서는 운영특성에 따른 마켓팅 전략에 관한 지속적인 노력과 연구가 수반되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.

치과환자 및 보호자가 인지한 치과위생사 이미지 (A Study on the Image of Dental Hygienists in Dental Patients and Caregivers)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the image of dental hygienists. The subjects in the study were 396 patients and their caregivers who visited 14 dental hospitals and dentists' offices in and around Seoul. After a survey was conducted, the following findings were given: 1. The people investigated gave a mean of 4.0 to the image of dental hygienists. Dental hygienists rated highest in terms of looking neat and tidy(4.33), and were given the lowest marks in arbitrary job performance(3.46). 2. There appeared four different types of dental hygienist images, which made a 59.824 prediction of the image of dental hygienists in general. A typical image(4.11) was most dominant, followed by professional one(4.07), personal one(4.01) and social one(3.73). 3. The relations between the general characteristics of the respondents and their image of dental hygienists could be described as below: 1) By age, those who were in their 60s(4.12) had the best image of dental hygienists, and the teenagers(3.90) had the worst image of them. 2) By gender, the men(4.05) looked at dental hygienists more positively than the women(3.96). They had a significantly different opinion on the social image of dental hygienists according to gender(pE0.05). 3) By marital status, the married people(4.00) had a better image of dental hygienists than the unmarried ones(3.95). 4) As for the influence of the type of dental institutions, they had a more favorable image of dental hygienists in dentists' offices(4.13) than in dental hospitals(3.88). There was a broad significant difference in the way they looked at the professional and personal images of dental hygienists according to the type of dental institutions(pE0.001). 5) As to the impact of educational level, those who received community-college or higher education(4.01) had the best image of dental hygienists, and those who received middle-school or lower education(3.91) had the worst image of them. 6) By occupation, the government workers and students(4.07) had the best image of dental hygienists, and the company employees(3.90) had the worst image of them. They took a significantly different view of the social image of dental hygienists according to occupation(pE0.05). 7) Concerning the impact of the frequency of receiving dental treatment, the respondents who had received it seven times or more(4.16) had the best image of dental hygienists, and those who hadn't(3.79) the worst image of them. There was a wide significant gap according to that frequency. The way they looked at the typical, social and professional images of dental hygienists was quite different significantly according to that frequency as well(pE0.001). 8) As for the influence of whether they were accompanied by caregivers or not, the people who weren't accompanied by caregivers(3.99) had a better image of dental hygienists than those who were(3.97).

방사선과 대학생이 지각하는 방사선사 이미지에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Image of Radiologists Perceived by College Students of Radiology)

  • The purpose of this study is to grasp the image of radiologists perceived by college students of radiology. The survey subjects of this study were selected college students with major in radiology with 3-year system who are attending universities where are located in Daegu and Gyeongbuk area. As for distribution and collection of questionnaire, the objective of research was explained from April 2, 2012 to April 30. 220 people's questionnaires were finally analyzed with a self-administrative method after being widely distributed. Statistical analysis was carried out frequency analysis, t-test, ANOVA, and correlation analysis. To examine factors of having influence upon the image of radiologists, the multiple regression analysis was carried out. As for survey subjects' general characteristics, gender was indicated to be 58.2% for men and 41.8% for women. School year accounted for 38.2% for freshman, 29.1% for sophomore, and 32.7% for junior. Age was the largest in under 21 years old with 43.6%. The next was in order of over 23 years old with 32.7% and 22 years old with 20%. As a result of research, the image of radiologists was being perceived positively. The radiologist was being recognized as a specialist who is sincere oneself and has strong responsibilities, does valuable and worthwhile work, and has the matured professional knowledge. However, the individual image of radiologists was a little negative. Accordingly, to promote the individual image of radiologists, a specific and positive strategy is needed for approaching people as the specialized job with autonomy and responsibility as well as radiologist oneself.

  • Gaze detection is to find out the position on a monitor screen where a user is looking at, using the image processing and computer vision technology, We developed a computer interface system using the gaze detection technology, This system enables a user to control the computer system without using their hands. So this system will help the handicapped to use a computer and is also useful for the man whose hands are busy doing another job, especially in tasks in factory. For the practical use, command signal like mouse clicking is necessary and we used eye winking to give this command signal to the system.

  • It is definitely an interesting job to work with V4 to create various contents emphasizing different interfaces like 3D graphics, and multimedia such as video, audio, and camera. Moreover, beyond the other interface, as it could be used in the many aspects of the sensory sign such as visual effects, auditory effects, and touchable effects, it feels free to make a better developed model. We intended the users to feel some kind of pleasure and interactions rather than just using in aspect of Media art.

일부지역 치위생(학)과 학생들의 진학만족도와 진로방향, 치과위생사 이미지에 관한 연구 (A Study on Enrollment Satisfaction, Career Directions, and Image of Dental Hygienists for Dental Hygiene Students in Some Regions)

  • 본 연구는 치위생(학)과 학생들의 진로방향에 대한 기준제시와 치과위생사의 바람직한 이미지 구축에 필요한 기초자료를 마련하고자 대구 경북지역 소재 대학 치위생(학)과 재학생을 대상으로 자기기입식 설문조사를 실시하였다. 자료 수집은 2013년 2월부터 2013년 5월까지 수행하였고, 수집된 자료 중 응답이 불성실한 46부의 설문지를 제외한 1,679부를 SPSS/Win18.0을 사용하여 최종 분석하였고, 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 선택후회와 진학추천의 경우 1학년이 2, 3, 4학년보다 높았고, 전과의지는 3, 2, 4학년이 1학년보다 높은 것으로 나타나, 저학년일수록 진학만족도가 높았다. 희망진로는 모든 학년에서 치과위생사로의 취업이 높았고, 취업 희망경로는 1학년의 경우 교수추천, 2학년, 3학년, 4학년의 경우 공개채용이 높았다. 취업희망 지역은 대도시, 선택이유는 발전가능성이 높았다. 취업 희망기간은 모든 학년에서 결혼 전, 자녀성장 후 재취업이 높았고, 희망근무처는 1학년 대학병원치과, 2학년, 3학년, 4학년의 경우 치과병원이 높았다. 학년에 따른 치위생사 이미지 차이에서 태도의 경우 1, 2학년이 3학년보다 높았고, 신념은 1, 2학년이 3, 4학년보다 높았으며, 가치는 4학년이 1, 3, 2학년보다, 2, 3학년이 1학년보다 높은 것으로 나타나, 태도와 신념은 저학년일수록, 가치는 고학년일수록 높았다. 진학만족도 요인 중, 전과의지와 진학권유 요인이 치과위생사 이미지에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 치위생(학)과 학생들은 직업에 대한 정체성을 확립하고, 치과위생사의 바람직한 이미지화를 위해 노력해야 할 것이며, 체계적이고, 적극적인 홍보활동을 통하여 치과위생사에 대한 보다 정확하고, 긍정적인 이미지를 높이기 위한 끊임없는 노력이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

남, 여 대학생들의 신체상 인지에 관한 비교연구 (A Comparative Study on the Self Perception of Body Image in College Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to research the distorted self-perception of body image held by many college students. Method: The subjects in this study consisted of 189 female college students and 125 male college students. The data were obtained through self-reported questionnaires completed by the students between April 1 and April 10, 2005. The data were analyzed by frequency and a $x^2$-test in the SPSS/pc 10.0 statistical program. Result: While female students tend to perceive themselves as being more overweight than they actually are according to their BMI scores, male students consider themselves to be thinner than they actually are according their BMI scores. Conclusion: Many female and male college students have a distorted self-perception of body weight. These findings indicate that health care providers need to do a better job of educating college students about normal body weight.
