Purpose: This study aimed to present and test a structural model for describing and predicting the factors affecting subjective career satisfaction of nurses experiencing rotation and to develop human resources management strategies for promoting their career satisfaction related to rotation. Methods: In this cross-sectional study, we recruited 233 nurses by convenience sampling who had over 1 year of career experience and who had experienced rotation at least once at G university hospital. Data were collected from August to September in 2016 using self-reported questionnaires. The exogenous variables consisted of rotation perception and rotation stress. Endogenous variables consisted of career growth opportunity, work engagement, and subjective career satisfaction. A hypothetical model was tested by asymptotically distribution-free estimates, and model goodness of fit was examined using absolute fit, incremental fit measures. Results: The final model was approved and had suitable fit. We found that subjective career satisfaction was directly affected by rotation stress (${\beta}=.20$, p=.019) and work engagement (${\beta}=.58$, p<.001), indirectly affected by rotation perception (${\beta}=.43$, p<.001) through career growth opportunity and work engagement. However, there was no total effect of rotation stress on subjective career satisfaction (${\beta}=-.09$, p=.270). Career growth opportunity directly and indirectly affected subjective career satisfaction (${\beta}=.29$, p<.001; ${\beta}=.28$, p<.001). These variables accounted for 65% of subjective career satisfaction. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that it is necessary to establish systematic and planned criteria for rotation so that nurses can grow and develop through sustained work and become satisfied with their career.

Objectives : The objective of this report is to identify the utilization of hospital school service during hospitalization among patients in their childhood and adolescence with psychiatric disorders. Methods : We retrospectively reviewed the medical record of child and adolescent psychiatric who were hospitalized during March 2009 through October 2012. We compared the one-year successful schooling and outpatient follow up rate between users and nonusers of the inpatient hospital school service. The hospital schooling experiences of the users were investigated upon follow-up visits to the outpatient clinic. Results : Sixty-three students received hospital school service during hospitalization among total 122 child and adolescent inpatients. Hospital school participants showed a significantly higher school reentry rate (61.9%) than non-participants (40.7%). However, there was no difference on follow up rate between the two groups. More than 60% of the 22 interviewed participants expressed an above-average level of satisfaction about hospital school service. Conclusion : Many patients with mental illness experience difficulty in receiving school education during treatment. That induces deterioration in disease, academic failure, poor social skills, low self-esteem, economic difficulties, and future job opportunities. The results of this study emphasize the importance of hospital school service and offer useful guidance for hospital school operation.

Korea's labor productivity in construction sites is dependent on experience and act in accordance with the human element of the construction workers. In order to increase the work productivity of the construction site that requires a strategic management to potentially hindrance factors of labor productivity. However, without considering the potential problems, management of labor productivity in prior studies is focused only on the immediate problems. The purpose of this study is to compare the site-specific analysis of labor productivity impediments using easy IPA to identify potential causes. As a result of the analysis was to identify the realistic problems of job insecurity and poor working conditions as well as economic problems. It is expected that it is possible to provide the basic data to strategy suggestions for long-term labor productivity improvement of the construction site.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the influences of ethical propensity, self-esteem and clinical satisfaction on major satisfaction in dental hygiene students. The study was conducted with third grade students in 3 dental hygiene colleges in Gyeongnam and Ulsan. The results were as follows : 1. Self-esteem showed high score in 'Before senior high school student' of the time of department selection, in 'Good' of oral health, in 'Outgoing' of personality and in 'Good' of family atmosphere. 2. Clinical practice satisfaction showed high score in 'Have' of part-time job experience in dental clinic. In case of major satisfaction, there were significantly different means with time of department selection and oral health. 3. The factors that influence to major satisfaction are self-esteem(${\beta}=.165$, p=.000) and clinical satisfaction(${\beta}=.630$, p=.000). It is important that making the curriculum to improve ethical propensity and self-esteem, clinical satisfaction for dental hygiene students.
This survey was carried out in order to find out the education needs of rural women in home improvement. The data were collected from 500 samples who were conjugal women under 65 years old by adminitrating the researcher developed questionaire through interview method. This interview was intensively focused in education fee, free or charged. The major findings of the survey were summerized as follows ; 1) In the educational fee is free, $\ulcorner$fatigue recovery$\lrcorner$ is demanded highest(61.7%) and $\ulcorner$wrighting art$\lrcorner$ is lowest among 30 items. The needs of education are devided 7 fields of the home improvement $\ulcorner$dietary life$\lrcorner$ is the highest demand fields among them. 2) If educational fee is charged, the item of $\ulcorner$technique for side job$\lrcorner$ was highest(42.2%) but $\ulcorner$selecting clothes$\lrcorner$ was lowest, And the field of $\ulcorner$home management$\lrcorner$ was highest demands. 3) On the overall needs of education, charged and free, they want the item of $\ulcorner$family nutrition management$\lrcorner$ and the field of $\ulcorner$dietary life$\lrcorner$ was selected highest. 4) In the relationship between needs of education items and individual/household variables, i.e. age, degree of education, life philosophy, hobby, social activity, experience of home improvement education, and transportation convenience, had significant relationship at 5% level. And the relationship of $\ulcorner$dietary life$\lrcorner$ and $\ulcorner$home management$\lrcorner$ fields are higher significant with individual/household variables.
Consumption has generally become more fragmented, hedonic and individual specific, satisfying not only functional but also emotional needs. In parallel, customer satisfaction is now thought to be both a cognitive and affective response, and the closely related concept of job satisfaction is commonly seen as an emotional reaction. The reasoning within quality management does, however, still lean heavily toward cognitive judgements (i.e. performance ratings), the emotional component clearly being under explored. Further, performance variables have shown not to be significant in predicting satisfaction for certain 'experience products', the effect fully mediated by emotions. As a consequence a cognitive judgement based quality concept has lost its ability to predict satisfaction, which clearly contradicts with the modem quality definition, stressing quality as the ability to satisfy the customer. Emotions have however entered the quality discourse and it has been proposed that having customers that are merely feeling satisfied will not suffice. Instead, there has been a plethora of executive exhortations in the trade press calling on business to 'delight the customer'. Strategies for doing so have however usually been imprecise and unclear, and the different drivers of delight and satisfaction are not well explored. This paper aims to complement the previous cognitive dominance by exploring the multiple emotional responses involved in customer satisfaction. A conclusion being that we currently are measuring something, in terms of satisfied, that is more or less independent of what we aim for, in terms of delight. It is also most likely that - depending on the situation, product, and person - other positive and negative emotions are more important outcomes of purchase and usage than merely satisfaction. It is questioned whether a single, summary response such as satisfaction is feasible or even desirable.
Background: The main purpose of this study was to survey the education and training of certified gynecologic oncologists and fellows in Thailand. A secondary objective was to study the problems in fellowship training regarding palliative care for gynecologic cancer patients. Materials and Methods: A descriptive study was conducted by sending a questionnaire regarding palliative care education to all certified gynecologic oncologists and gynecologic oncology fellows in Thailand. The contents of the survey included fellowship training experience, caring for the dying, patient preparation, attitudes and respondent characteristics. Statistics were analyzed by percentage, mean and standard deviation and chi-square. Results: One hundred seventy completed questionnaires were returned; the response rate was 66%. Most certified gynecologic oncologists and fellows in gynecologic oncology have a positive attitude towards palliative care education, and agree that "psychological distress can result in severe physical suffering". It was found that the curriculum of gynecologic oncology fellowship training equally emphasizes three aspects, namely managing post-operative complications, managing a patient at the end of life and managing a patient with gynecologic oncology. As for experiential training during the fellowship of gynecologic oncology, education regarding breaking bad news, discussion about goals of care and procedures for symptoms control were mostly on-the-job training without explicit teaching. In addition, only 42.9 % of respondents were explicitly taught the coping skill for managing their own stress when caring for palliative patients during fellowship training. Most of respondents rated their clinical competency for palliative care in the "moderately well prepared" level, and the lowest score of the competency was the issue of spiritual care. Conclusions: Almost all certified gynecologic oncologists and fellows in gynecologic oncology have a positive attitude towards learning and teaching in palliative care. In this study, some issues were identified for improving palliative care education such as proper training under the supervision of a mentor, teaching how to deal with work stress, competency in spiritual care and attitudes on responsibility for bereavement care.
This study proposes an educational direction to be followed by the clothing departments of Korea's specialized high schools in order to help achieve high levels of job placements and to strengthen their students' competitiveness. A comparison was made of the curricula in Korea's specialized high schools and in several fashion schools in other countries including the United States, Italy, France, Taiwan, and Japan. To this end, publicly available educational records were retrieved from domestic school documentation, vocational high school portals, and domestic/overseas school web sites, and were then reviewed. The archival data extracted from these sources shows that the curricula of the three chosen domestic schools uniformly focus on foundational courses such as general computer skills, general design, accounting principles, design principles, and drawing, as well as practical courses such as the design of western clothing, fashion design, fashion CAD, management of clothing material, design of Korean clothing, and knitting. Unlike these standardized courses, it was found that overseas fashion schools provide a more technically-advanced and design-focused education based on the interests of the individual student. Moreover, their education system nurtures the students' creativity through adequate field experience and history/language education. The findings of this study suggest that Korean specialized high schools should find a way to accommodate their students' interests and to provide them with personalized fashion education by adopting a more flexible curriculum. An educational line that considers the individual student's aptitudes and career path will help foster creativity and novel ideas, which, in turn, will contribute to the development of the fashion industry.

The purpose of this study was to compare the health services information need between urban area and rural area in Sooncheon City. For accomplishing this purpose, we selected 1,060 adults randomly, 744 urban residents and 314 rural residents were surveyed from 1st, December to 31st, December in 1999. Compared the difference between two areas by cross tabulation, and chi-square test were used. The results of this study are as follows: 1. There were statistically difference in sociodemographic characteristics between urban residents and rural residents, such as age, education, job, income, and insurance payment(p<0.001). 2. According to the health utilization behavior, types of health facility, satisfaction of medical cost, and satisfaction of medical results were statistically different between the two areas(p<0.001). Also utilization of the health service center, and accessibility were statistically different between urban and rural areas(p<0.001). 3. Experiencing the health service information, type of health service information, methods of information, effectiveness, and satisfaction were statistically different between the two areas(p<0.001). 4. And experience of using computer, and internet and preference of method of health service information were statistically different between urban and rural areas. Therefore, the construction of health information system should be carefully reviewed by community health service centers and they should consider the different residents information needs, and accessibility and convenience of community residents.
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the opinions of Korean dental hygienists on the Korean advanced dental hygienist system in Korea. Methods: The survey was conducted on 328 dental hygienists working at dental clinics and hospitals in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Incheon, and Chungcheong-do. Collected data were analyzed with the frequency analysis, independent-samples t-test, and one-way analysis of variance after their reliability and validity were verified through the reliability, exploratory factor, and confirmatory factor analyses. Results: Respondents preferred sectoral advanced dental hygienists to integrated advanced dental hygienists, but 47.0% of respondents did not respond to this questionnaire item. To become an advanced dental hygienist, 'more than 5 years but less than 8 years' of clinical experience was appropriate according to 45.7% of the respondents and 'more than 30 h but less than 40 h' of training period was appropriate according to 25.9% of the respondents. Respondents thought that the duration of the training period for advanced dental hygienists would be directly proportional to expectations from the effect of advanced dental hygienists (p=0.023). Further, respondents who were usually interested in advanced dental hygienists showed higher expectations from the role (p<0.001) and effect (p<0.001) of advanced dental hygienists than those who were not interested. Conclusions: This study suggests various implications of the introduction of the advanced dental hygienist system in Korea.
