교수학습지원센터 실무자의 직무역량 탐색 (Exploring on the job competence of the staff in center for teaching and learning)

  • 본 논문은 대학의 교수학습지원센터에서 근무하고 있는 실무자에게 요구되는 직무역량이 무엇인가를 밝히고, 현업에 종사하고 있는 실무자들이 바라는 요구사항을 알아보고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해 실무자의 직무수행 역량 요인은 관련 문헌 검토를 통해 규명하였다. 이들 직무역량을 기초로 하여 대전 충남지역의 교수학습지원센터 실무자들을 대상으로 직무수행 역량 요구도를 조사하였다. 이 연구 결과에 의하면, 실무자에 요구되는 직무역량은 기초역량, 기획 분석역량, 프로젝트 운영관리역량, 평가역량 등으로 나타났다. 각각의 직무 역량에서 실무자가 지각하는 가장 높은 요인은 다음과 같다. 기초역량에서는 변화와 혁신의 태도 요인이 가장 높았으며, 기획 분석 역량에서는 수업분석 및 컨설팅, 운영관리역량에서는 인력관리 그리고 평가역량에서는 매체효과성평가 요인이 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 그러므로 교수학습지원센터의 활성화를 위해서는 교수학습지원센터 프로그램 운영을 지원할 수 있는 전문가 풀을 구성하고, 교수학습지원센터 실무자의 전문성 향상을 위한 역량 교육 프로그램을 기획하고 지원할 필요가 있다.

Job Competence of College Students in Korea: An Expansion of Core Competence Theory

  • The purpose of this study is to find what competence determines the employment of college students using data from the K-CESA (Korea Collegiate Essential Skills Assessment) of a Korean university during 2009-2014. This test comprises of 6 categories of competence: self-management, global readiness, interpersonal relationship, resource/information/technology handling, communication and comprehensive reasoning. In addition to these competences, we add the comprehensive variable, grade point average. In order to identify the qualities of employment, employment was classified into 3 types: all employment, employment in decent jobs and employment in the top 500 companies. Results are as follows: For all employment and decent jobs, GPA and comprehensive reasoning were the meaningful variables. However in case of the top 500 companies, interpersonal relationship was added. Based on the analysis, this study suggests the fundamental concepts of college students' job competence: job specific competence, job basic competence, and basic competence.

Relation of Compassionate Competence to Burnout, Job Stress, Turnover Intention, Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment for Oncology Nurses in Korea

  • Background: Nursing focuses on the development of an empathic relationship between the nurse and the patients. Compassionate competence, in particular, is a very important trait for oncology nurses. The current study sought to determine the degree of compassionate competence in oncology nurses, as well as to determine the relationships between compassionate competence, burnout, job stress, turnover intention, degrees of job satisfaction, and organizational commitment in oncology nurses. Materials and Methods: A descriptive correlational study evaluating the relationships between compassionate competence, burnout, job stress, turnover intention, degrees of job satisfaction, and organizational commitment in 419 oncology nurses was conducted between January 30 and February 20, 2015. Results: The average score of compassionate competence for oncology nurses in the current study was higher than for clinical nurses. Conclusions: The correlational analysis between compassionate competence and organizational commitment, burnout, job stress, turnover intention, and degree of job satisfaction revealed a high correlation between compassionate competence and positive job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Conclusions: Compassionate competence was higher in oncology nurses than in nurses investigated in previous studies and positively correlated with work experience. Job satisfaction and organizational commitment in nurses may be improved through compassionate competence enhancement programs that employ a variety of experiences.

의료종사자의 다문화 역량과 직무스트레스 (Healthcare Workers' Cultural Competence and Multi-Cultural Job Stress)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the level of cultural competence, intercultural communicative competence, and multi-cultural job stress among healthcare workers and to explore factors that are related to their cultural competence. Methods: The study subjects were 142 healthcare workers at a general hospital. Data were collected using a questionnaire on cultural competence, intercultural communicative competence, and multi-cultural job stress. A t-test, ANOVA Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis were conducted using SPSS. Results: Cultural competence was significantly related to the necessity of multi-cultural education, and intercultural communicative competence was significantly related to age, a vocational career, communication in foreign languages, and having multi-cultural neighbors. Moreover, multi-cultural job stress was significantly related to religion. In multiple regression results, cultural competence was found to be related to intercultural communicative competence and multi-cultural job stress. Conclusion: Healthcare workers who are set to care for multi-cultural patients should improve intercultural communicative competence and reduce multi-cultural job stress.

Influence of Spirituality and Job Satisfaction on the Compassion Competence of Hospice Nurses

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine the influence of spirituality and job satisfaction on the compassion competence of hospice nurses. Methods: This was a cross-sectional study of 118 hospice nurses from 16 hospitals in Daejeon, Chungcheong Province, and Jeolla Province. A self-administered survey was conducted using a structured questionnaire including the Spirituality Scale, Index of Work Satisfaction, the Compassion Competence Scale for Nurses, and general socio-demographic information. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, the t-test, Pearson correlation coefficients, and hierarchical linear regression analysis using SPSS for Windows version 26.0. Results: Compassion competence was correlated with spirituality (r=0.66, P<0.001) and job satisfaction (r=0.52, P<0.001), and spirituality was correlated with job satisfaction (r=0.44, P<0.001). Spirituality (β=0.513, P<0.001) and job satisfaction (β=0.273, P<0.001) were significant factors affecting the compassion competence of hospice nurses, after adjusting for the sociodemographic and work-related covariates. The step-by-step results from hierarchical linear regression analysis also indicated that spirituality had a stronger impact than job satisfaction on compassion competence. Conclusion: Our findings demonstrate the importance of spirituality, which plays a role in guiding the compassion competence of hospice nurses. It is necessary to support the spirituality and job satisfaction of hospice nurses, which could facilitate their compassion competence and thereby contribute to improving the quality of hospice and palliative care.

유아교사의 의사소통능력이 교수효능감 및 직무만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Communicative Competence on the Teaching Efficacy and Job Satisfaction of Early Childhood Teachers)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of the communicative competence of early childhood teachers on their teaching efficacy and job satisfaction in an attempt to provide some information on the development of the communicative competence of early childhood teachers. Study results show that, first, the teaching efficacy of early childhood teachers differed according to their age, education and career level and their communicative competence differed according to their career level. Second, communicative competence had a statistically significant positive correlation with teaching efficacy and job satisfaction. Third, among the sub-factors of communicative competence, focusing attention and responding exerted a statistically significant positive influence on teaching efficacy. Among the sub-factors of communicative competence, focusing attention, analyzing and evaluating exerted a statistically significant positive influence on job satisfaction.

임상간호사의 비판적 사고성향, 간호수행능력 및 직무만족도 (Relationships between Critical Thinking Disposition, Professional Nursing Competence and Job Satisfaction in Clinical Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study was undertaken in order to investigate the relationships between critical thinking disposition, professional nursing competence and job satisfaction in clinical nurses. Method: A convenience sample of 221 registered nurses were obtained from one hospital in Seoul. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe' test, Pearson correlation coefficient using SPSS WIN 14.0 program. Results: There were a statistically significant difference in the critical thinking disposition according to age, marital status, career length, and department. There were a statistically significant difference in professional nursing competence according to role, age, career length, current position, and department. There were a statistically significant difference in job satisfaction according to age, marital status, career length, and department. A significant positive correlation between critical thinking disposition and professional nursing competence, and job satisfaction was found. Conclusion: Critical thinking disposition, professional nursing competence and job satisfaction of clinical nurses are significantly related. To improve professional nursing competence and job satisfaction of clinical nurses, it need to use actively the critical thinking disposition with resonable salary. And it need to prepare the nursing education and strategy to increase the job satisfaction of clinical nurses.

보육교사의 정서지능과 직무스트레스 간의 관계에서 의사소통능력의 매개적 역할 (The Mediating Roles of Child Care Teachers' Communicative Competence in the Relationship Between Emotional Intelligence and Job Stress)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between child care teachers' emotional intelligence, communicative competence, and job stress. Methods: Four hundred and fifty child care teachers answered questionnaires on three research variables. Data were analyzed by correlation analyses and regression analyses. Results: First, child care teachers' emotional intelligence, i.e. self-emotion appraisal, others' emotion appraisal, uses of emotion, and regulation of emotion, were negatively related to job stress. Second, child care teachers' emotional intelligence, i.e. self-emotion appraisal, others' emotion appraisal, uses of emotion, and regulation of emotion, were positively associated with communicative competence. Third, child care teachers' communicative competence was negatively linked to job stress. Lastly, child care teachers' communicative competence partially mediated the relationship between self-emotion appraisal, others' emotion appraisal, regulation of emotion, and job stress, and child care teachers' communicative competence fully mediated the relationship between uses of emotion and job stress. Conclusion/Implications: This study suggests that high emotional intelligence and effective communication are important in order to reduce child care teachers' job stress.

공무원의 직무역량과 서비스질의 인과관계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Casual Relations between Job Competence and Service Quality)

  • This study conducted a survey of 400 public officials in kyoung ki Do districts from July to September 2016, and used 390 copies for final analysis. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, the level of Job competence and service quality of public officias were statistically siqnificant. Second, the esults showed that both Job competence and sevice quality had a statistically significant influential relationship, so as these variables increased, the level of service quality improved. Third, the influential relationship of Job competence on the service quality of public officials was statistically significant and positive. These results provide a theoretical groung for the understanding and integrated approach to the causality of job competence and of service quality.

코칭리더십이 회복탄력성, 대인관계능력 및 직무성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Coaching Leadership on Resilience, Interpersonal Competence and Job Performance)

  • 본 연구는 코칭리더십이 회복탄력성, 대인관계능력 및 직무성과에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 회복탄력성과 대인관계능력이 코칭리더십과 직무성과의 관계에 있어서 매개작용을 하는지를 규명하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 울산의 U대학교 병원 간호사 240명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였다. SPSS 18.0과 AMOS 18.0을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 코칭리더십은 회복탄력성, 대인관계능력, 직무성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 회복탄력성은 대인관계능력과 직무성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 대인관계능력은 직무성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 코칭리더십과 직무성과 간의 관계에 있어서 회복탄력성과 대인관계능력이 부분매개 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 직무성과를 향상시키기 위하여 코칭리더십, 회복탄력성 및 대인관계능력의 중요성을 논의하였다.
