Recently, tourists and sightseers are increasingly showing their interests in the native local food cultures as their living standards improve. This is why the local autonomy bodies are vigorously trying to develop their local native foods as tourism commodities, which is a part of their efforts to bring a life to their local economies. This study explores the solutions to promote the native local foods of Jeonju area as a tourism item, eventually contributing to the progress of the local economy. The target population of this study was the owners of native local food restaurants in Jeonju area, and the survey was conducted from February 10th to 25th, 2008. For data analysis, frequency analysis was used. In order to achieve this goal, analysis on local restaurant managers for their business operation should be conducted. The results showed they had daily sales of under 100,000 won and did restaurant promotions through pamphlets, brochures and so forth. The development of food was carried out mostly by the restaurant owners and the restaurant management type was independent. To activate the food tourism in Jeonju area, it is necessary to develop a representative native local food restaurants of Jeonju area as a tourism attraction, excavating new food festivals and food tourism courses suited to different areas and developing various food ingredients and spice packages.

The purpose of this study was to prepare some more up-dated and advanced curriculum in Landscape Architecture in Junior College education to bring up a leading professional who can meet the changing social needs. To achieve this goal, the data about the actual employment status of graduates, current relevant systems and legistations, the questionnaires of Landscape companies, graduates and undergraduates, and the current relevant curriculum of domain 6 junior colleges and Japanese relevant curriculum was gathered and analyzed The results are as follows ; 1. Currently the majority of the graduates are employed in Construction field, but the employment trend of graduates shows diversification and subdividing as following 5 fields, that is Construction, Design, Maintenance, Administration and Indoor Landscaping. 2. It is essential to bring up a Landscape Technician who has a Landscape Certificate of qualifications(esp. 2nd class). 3. Lately, the actual Practice came to be one item of the qualifying examination, so the subjects of Landscape Design, Landscape Construction and Landscape Estimation Should be emphasized, Accordingly, current curriculum should be revised. 4. Currant curriculum model(1979) made by the Ministry of Education doesn't play a real and adequate role and should be up-dated in view of the current curriculum of domain 6 junior colleges has no regular standards. In preparation for new standardized curriculum model, following criterior could be suggested, that is, ratio of the Major Required Subjects vs. The Major Optional Subjects would be 50 : 50, and the Major Optional Subject would be 48 credits which is 150% of the Required Credits(32 credits) 5. The subjects such as Basic Agriculture, Afforestation, Nature Conservation, Sketch, Civil Engineering, Landscape Seminar and Modelling Practice would be deleted in the curriculum model established in 1983. 6. The subjects such as Perspective Practice, Indoor Landscaping, Landscape Legislation and Landscape Design( III ) could be newly opened to meet the social needs, to prepare for the qualifying examination and to serve well in the employment fields. 7. The subjects of Surveying ( I ) & ( II ) would be unified into one Subject as Surveying, and some in view of the average situation of 6 junior colleges. 8. It is urgent to open some subject related to computer. At first, An Introduction to Computer could be recommended in the cultural studies course and Landscape Computer Technique as the Major Optional Subjects.

This study is to develop a competence model for school principals that provides effective career and vocational education (CVE) at middle schools. This model can be used as an indicator for identifying the expertise levels of principals in CVE and to help them develop the necessary skills. Research methods included literature review, basic research, the Delphi technique, analytic hierarchy process (AHP), and surveying. The results were as follows. The competence model for CVE for middle school principals consisted of three competence groups, nine competence elements, and 67-item behavior indicators. First, the three competence groups included the competence to build a school system for CVE, the competence to support CVE at school, and the competence to create a school environment for CVE. Competence to support CVE at school turned out to be most important in the AHP analysis. Second, competence elements included goal management, performance management, the creation of educational culture, support for educational activities, support for school curriculum, support for students, human resources management, resource management and community management. According to the AHP analysis, support for school curriculum was the most significant among the nine competence elements. Third, the behavior indicators were identified items in three areas: 18 items for individual propensity, 18 items for knowledge, and 31 items for performance.
Recently many efforts on the development of automatic processing system for delivery sequency sorting have been performed in ETRI, which requires the use of postal 4-state bar code system to encode delivery points. This paper addresses the issue on the extension of read range and the improvement of image processing method. For the improvement of image processing procedure, applied information acquisition method through basic two thresholds onto the horizontal axial line of gray image based on reference information of 4-state bar code symbology. Symbol values are computed after creating two threshold values based on the obtained information through search of horizontal axial values. The implementation result of 4-state bar code reader are obtained the symbol values within 30~60 msec (58,000~116,000 mail item/hour)without noise removal or image rotation in spite of the incline $\pm 45^{\circ}$.
Korea exported the passenger cars(HS 8703) such as key export item 41billion dollars in 2011. But the Korea's representative enterprises which bound forward in the global markets, have a tough time in the Japanese markets alone, and especially, they hardly sell key items such as automobiles. Japan is the third largest automobile market sold annually 5 millions, despite its long-term depression. At this time of point, analyzing the competition structure of the automobile market and proposing the strategies of the Korean enterprises's export to Japan would be a great academic contribution. This study analyzed the Japanese automobile market by the method of upper enterprises' Concentration Ratio($CR_k$) based on J. S. Bain's SCP paradigm and the literature study on the characteristics of the Japanese market by Itami Hiroyuki. As a result, in the Japanese automobile market, it is very likely that there exist market dominating enterprises, but at the same time, the movement of change also could be grasped between Japanese car makers. Accordingly, the cross-leveraging distribution strategy, brand strategy and Japan specification(designed for Japan) development strategy of the Korean enterprises' export to Japan which can respond to the change of the Japanese automobile markets were proposed.
In this paper, we developed a big data platform to store, process, and analyze effectively on such education longitudinal study data. And it was applied to the Seoul Education Longitudinal Study(SELS) to confirm its usefulness. The developed platform consists of data preprocessing unit and data analysis unit. The data preprocessing unit 1) masking, 2) converts each item into a factor 3) normalizes / creates dummy variables 4) data derivation, and 5) data warehousing. The data analysis unit consists of OLAP and data mining(DM). In the multidimensional analysis, OLAP is performed after selecting a measure and designing a schema. The DM process involves variable selection, research model selection, data modification, parameter tuning, model training, model evaluation, and interpretation of the results. The data warehouse created through the preprocessing process on this platform can be shared by various researchers, and the continuous accumulation of data sets makes further analysis easier for subsequent researchers. In addition, policy-makers can access the SELS data warehouse directly and analyze it online through multi-dimensional analysis, enabling scientific decision making. To prove the usefulness of the developed platform, SELS data was built on the platform and OLAP and DM were performed by selecting the mathematics academic achievement as a measure, and various factors affecting the measurements were analyzed using DM techniques. This enabled us to quickly and effectively derive implications for data-based education policies.

International standard for software quality evaluation, ISO/IEC 9126 defines the quality characteristics and sub-characteristics consisting of quality of the software. Also, in this standard, the quality assessment items are presented in metrics based on maturity, fault tolerance, recoverability and compliance which are sub-characteristics of reliability. However, this reliability assessment items which are presented are not applied now due to the mathematical difficulties and the problems caused by collection of data. In order to resolve these problems, this study introduces measures to develop a specific test technique by quality attributes and to measure the quality. In other words, the detailed guidelines are presented to be utilized as a standard by summarizing test activities and techniques by each development life the most commonly used. The SW quality results are derived by assigning weights to software in order of the most important quality characteristics of respective software using checklist that can be easily utilized and applying test technique that can be utilized for detailed evaluation items and checklist. This improves problems that include reliability assessment item of ISO/IEC 9126 as the measures to measure new reliability quality of software.
This study was intended to develop a self-report wisdom scale for the elementary gifted students. For this, related literature was reviewed in depth and open ended questionnaire about the wisdom qualities was conducted. Based on these, a self-report wisdom scale, which was comprised of 42 items in 4 factors such as the situation judgment and problem-solving ability, the communication ability and skills, the emotional stability, the insight and adaptation, was developed. For this preliminary scale, 215 elementary gifted students were surveyed. And for the confirmatory factor analysis, 256 elementary gifted students participated. The results of the study were as follows. The fit of measurement model was found to be ${\chi}^2$=1596.46 (df=813, p=.00), TLI .90, CFI .91, RMSEA .046, indicating most of fit indexes were acceptable. The reliability for each of 42-item by the sub-factors also appeared to be good, showing that internal consistency reliability by the configuration factors was 0.86, .87, .89, .87 each relatively. In addition, to verify the validity of the wisdom scale, the convergent and discriminate validities were obtained through the correlation analysis among the psychological characteristics which were considered to be related to the wisdom. Finally, practical implications of the study were discussed in depth.

This paper aims to survey the supply status and demand of the scientific & technological information among the 1,059 small enterprises demanding the support in Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongsangnam-do which have been supported by the Branch of KISTI and to propose the approaches to improve the scientific & technological information system. As the results of this research, Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongsangnam-do have very poor business and R&D environment to the extent that 96.3% of businesses was small business (medium business only for 3.7%) and 31% of total small & medium-cized businesses has less than 10 R&D workers. Small & medium-sized businesses which have demanded the information to KISTI account for only 0.2% in average for 3 years. The information demand types are market trend (26.8%), industrial property right (22.1%), business proposal (19.9%), item exploration (16.8%) and quality certification (8.4%). The supplied informations include scientific and technological data survey, market survey, translation and information application seminar. The business achievements from the information supply include 379 cases in technological development improvement and launch of products, 88 cases in technology certifications and 414 cases in patents and utility design application and registration. By the analysis results, the small and medium-sized businesses have difficulties in using R&D information by themselves. Thus, it's proposed to establish the science and technology information center in southeastern region and develop the information advisors specialized in local specialty industry categories. It's also proposed to expand the manpower and budget of KISTI concerning the information support for small & medium-sized businesses.
Accidents are the fourth-leading causal factor of death among the elderly, and fall is a major type of accident (53.17%). Many cases of falls in the elderly result in delayed discovery and loss of quality of life. As the number of the elderly grows, falls will be a more important health problem. Most previous research on falls investigated prevalence. mortality, and the related factors. There are many studies proving the effect of rhythmic movements. But few researches considered linking risk factors of fall with rhythmic movements. Purpose: We want to show the changes after performing rhythmic movement program, in risk factors of falls and mobility such as flexibility, balance, muscle power and persistency in the elderly, in order to provide basic information needed for the development of fall injury prevention program for the elderly. Method: The design of this study is quasi-experimental, the equivalent control group, pretest-posttest. The subjects consist of 124 people who lived in Do-Bong-Qu. Seoul, agreed to participate in this study, and were able to follow this rhythmic movement program. About 93 % of them are from 65 to 84 years (Mean${\pm}$sd: $73.7{\pm}5.7$): 64% are female. The rhythmic movement program was designed. and performed by two community health nurses working in the Do-Bong-Gu Public Health Center, regularly twice a week from May, 4 to December, 17. in 10 senior citizens' community centers. Risk factors of fall were measured with RAFS- II (Risk Assessment for Falls Scale II) by asking about each item: mobility was measured by observing their specific movements asked by investigators. Results: 1. After performing the program during 7 months, risk factors score of falls were decreased significantly (paired-t = 4.77. p<0.01). 2. After performing the program during 7 months, flexibility (paired-t = 2.26. p=0.03) and mobility were improved (paired-t = 4.98. p<0.01). but muscle power and persistency did not change (paired-t = 0.33. p=0.74). Overall, mobility affecting the occurrence of falls was improved significantly (paired-t = 5.15. p<0.01). Conclusions: A regular rhythmic movement program can be helpful in preventing falls in the elderly. Further. we can develop a fall injury prevention program using rhythmic movement.
