생활하수의 농업용수재이용을 위한 생활하수 오염지구 수질 모니터링 (Water quality monitoring at irrigation districts polluted with wastewater for the wastewater reuse for agriculture)

  • Two irrigation districts, Maekok and Byungjum 1 which are irrigated with polluted stream flow, and one control district Kichun, that is supplied from a reservoir complying with the water quality standard are selected for water quality monitoring to identify the effects of polluted irrigation on crop yields, environments, and health hazards for farmers. The water quality at Maekok and Byungjum 1 districts are worse than the control district, and continuous water quality monitoring are needed for the wastewater reuse for agriculture.

MicroSUCI: A Microsurgical Background That Incorporates Suction Under Continuous Irrigation

  • The microsurgical anastomosis is integral to the success of autologous-free tissue transfer. Successful performance of this procedure relies strongly on operator dexterity, which can be made more challenging when blood and edematous fluids obscure the field of view. Workflow is impeded by intermittent irrigation and suctioning, necessitating presence of an assistant, with risk of arterial thrombosis, from vessels being drawn into suction drains. To negate these current disadvantages and minimize the barrier of entry to microvascular operations, we designed, manufactured, and patented a novel three-dimensional printed microsurgical background device with microfluidic capabilities that allow continuous suction and irrigation as well as provide platforms that enable multiangle retraction to facilitate operator autonomy. This was validated in an ex vivo model, with the device found to be superior to the current standard. We believe that this will have major applicability to the improvement of microsurgeon

수도 밭재배에 관한 연구 (The Effects of the Growth and Yield of Paddy Rice in the Upland Cultivation)

  • 논, 밭 양조건하에서 수륙도를 재배하여 생육과 수량을 비교하였다. 수도는 영남조생과 유신을, 육도는 하다상고구와 다찌미노리를 공시하했으며 처리내용은 무관개표준비, 관개표준비, 관개질소증비의 3구는 밭에, 관수표준비구는 논에 설치하여 1975년에 시험을 실시하였던 바 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 수도는 논조건하에서 현미 수량이 많았고 유신은 $10^{a}$ 당 431.7kg으로서 가장 많았으며 육도는 논보다 밭에서 증수하였다. 2. 밭조건하에서 질소 증비에 의한 증수는 수도의 영남조생과 유신은 인정되나, 육도 2품종은 증수를 인정할 수 없었다. 3. 영남조생과 유신의 출수기는 논조건하에서 보다 밭조건하에서 약 1주일 늦었다. 4. 고중은 수도는 논, 밭조건하에서 차이가 없었으나, 육도는 논보다 밭에서 많았다. 5. 10cm간 수수는 논ㆍ밭 어느 조건하에서도 수도가 많고 육도는 논, 밭조건하에 의한 차이를 인정할수 없었다. 6. 등숙비율과 천립중은 육도가 수도보다 논, 밭 어느 조건하에서도 컸으며 논과 밭의 비교에서는 수륙도 모두 논조건하에서 컸다. 7. 수도는 논에서, 육도는 밭에서 일수립수가 많은 경향을 보였다. 8. 엽신의 질소함량은 전생육기간을 통하여 공히 논조건하에서 보다 밭조건하에서 많았다.

우분 퇴비를 시용한 논에서의 유출수 특성 (Runoff Characteristics in Paddy Field using Cow Manure Compost Fertilizer)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the runoff characteristics in paddy field using livestock compost fertilizer. Irrigation, runoff and water quality data in the paddy field were analyzed periodically from May to September in 2011. The observed amounts of rainfall, irrigation, runoff for the experimental paddy field during the irrigation period were 1,148.2 mm, 523.9 mm, and 344.7 mm, respectively. T-N concentrations ranged from 2.28 mg/L to 11.75 mg/L, which was generally higher than the quality standard of agricultural water (1.0 mg/L). T-P concentrations ranged from 0.018 mg/L to 0.241 mg/L and the average was 0.122 mg/L. The runoff loads of T-N and T-P were 15.7 kg/ha and 0.4 kg/ha, respectively. The runoff pollutants loadings in T-N and T-P in this study were much lower values than the loads of T-N and T-P from the paddy field presented by others' studies. We are considering that these results were affected by rainfall as well as hydrological condition, irrigation water, fertilizer application, rice straw and plowing.

Optimization of hydraulic section of irrigation canals in cold regions based on a practical model for frost heave

  • An optimal hydraulic section is critical for irrigated water conservancy in seasonal frozen ground due to a large proportion of water leakage, as investigated by in-situ surveys. This is highly correlated with the frost heave of underlain soils in cold season. This paper firstly derived a practical model for frost heave of clayey soils, with temperature dependent thermal indexes incorporating phase change effect. A model test carried out on clay was used to verify the rationality of the model. A novel approach for optimizing the cross-section of irrigation canals in cold regions was suggested with live updated geometry characterized by three unique geometric constraints including slope of canal, ratio of practical flow section to the optimal and lining thickness. Allowable frost heave deformation and tensile stress in canal lining are utilized as standard in computation iterating with geometry updating while the construction cost per unit length is regarded as the eventual target in optimization. A typical section along the Jinghui irrigation canal was selected to be optimized with the above requirements satisfied. Results prove that the optimized hydraulic section exhibits smaller frost heave deformation, lower tensile stress and lower construction cost.

관수량 조절이 시설 토마토 과실의 당도와 수량에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Deficit Irrigation on the Total Soluble Solids and Fruit Yields of Fresh Tomato)

  • 관수량조절이 시설 토마토 과실의 당도 증진과 수량에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 관수량은 관행 관수 (-l5kPa)에 비해 -20kPa, -30kPa 및 -40kPa 처리에서 각각 11%, 25% 및 41%가 절감되었다. 전반적으로 과실의 당도는 관수량을 줄임으로써 급격하게 증가한 반면 수량은 감소하는 경향을 보였으며 화방 간에 뚜렷한 차이가 있었다. 관행 관수에 비해 관수량을 줄이면 1화방에서는 수량 감소 없이 당도가 증가하였지만, 2화방과 3화방에서는 당도 증가와 더불어 수량 감소가 심하였다. 과실의 당도는 화방에 따라 처리 간 차이가 있었지만, 평균 당도는 관행관수 처리에서는 $5.4^{\circ}Brix$인데 비해 -30kPa와 -40kPa처리에서는 각각 $6.2^{\circ}Brix$$7.0^{\circ}Brix$로 15%와 30%증가하였다. 총수량은 관행 관수 대비 -30kPa과 -40kPa 처리에서 각각 13.6%와 26.4% 감소하였지만, 과실크기를 기준으로 한 상품과는 -30kPa과 -40kPa 처리에서 각각 27.8%와 25.9% 증가하였다.

토마토 수경재배 시 배액제로 센서를 이용한 배액제로화가 근권환경, 생육 및 수량에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Zero Drainage Using Drainage Zero Sensor on Root Zone Environment, Growth and Yield in Tomato Rockwool Culture)

  • 폐양액 발생을 최소화할 수 있는 배액제로형 수경재배기술 개발을 위하여 토마토 수경재배 시 배액제로 센서를 이용하여 배액을 제로화 또는 최소화하였을 때 표준배액량 처리와 비교하여 근권환경 변화와 토마토의 생육, 수량, 품질 등에 미치는 영향을 구명하였다. 처리별 주당 1일 공급량은 표준배액률 처리가 1.4, 배액제로 1처리가 0.9, 배액제로 2처리가 0.8L이었고, 배액률은 표준배액률 처리가 23.8, 배액제로 1처리가 8.6, 배액제로 2 처리가 3.7%이었다. 표준배액률 처리, 배액제로 1과, 2처리의 함수율과 배지 내 EC는 각각 64.5~88.0%와 $1.5{\sim}3.5dS{\cdot}m^{-1}$, 40.3~76.0%와 $2.5{\sim}4.0dS{\cdot}m^{-1}$, 그리고 56.3~69.0%, $2.7{\sim}3.7dS{\cdot}m^{-1}$이었다. 토마토 생육은 표준배액률 처리에 비해 배액제로 처리에서 엽장, 엽수, 경경은 차이가 없었으나, 초장과 엽폭이 작은 경향을 보였다. 토마토 수량은 표준배액률 처리에 비해 배액제로 처리에서 상품수량이 7.7~12% 적고 1과중이 작았으나, 당도는 반대로 높았고 상품과률은 차이가 없었다.

소규모 댐의 효과적 운영을 위한 저수관리 기법 개발 (Development of Storage Management Method for Effective Operation of Small Dams)

  • Large dams are managed with operation standard and flood forecasting systems, while small dams do not have management method generally. Shortage of water resources and natural disasters due to drought and flood raised public concerns for management of small dams. Most of small dams are irrigation dams, which need diversified water uses. However, the lack of systematic management of small dams have caused serious water wastage and increased natural disasters. Storage management method and system were developed to solve these problems in small dams. The system was applied to Seongju dam for effective management. The storage management method was established considering hydrology simulation and statistical analysis using the system. This method can bring additional available water, even in the same conditions of the water demand and the supply conditions of watershed. It can improve the flood control capacity and water utilization efficiency by' the flexible operation of storage space.

  • This study was performed to examine water and nutrient balance during rice cropping period using difference fertilization paddy plot in ground water irrigation region. The experimental rice paddy consist of three plot, Treatment of Excess fertilization(TEF) and Treatment of Standard Fertilization(TSF) and Treatment of Reduce Fertilization(TRF). As result, input amount to rice paddy was almost rainfall and output was direct runoff through drainage. nutrient input amount was upper paddy in case COD and fertilization in case Total nitrogen and total phosphorus, and output was drainage in all nutrient.
