IPA/물 혼합액의 PEI/PDMS 복합막 모듈을 이용한 투과증발 파일롯 분리특성 (Pilot Test with Pervaporation Seperation of Aqueous IPA Using a Composite PEI/PDMS Membrane Module)

  • Isopropyl alcohol (IPA)/물의 투과증발 분리특성을 알아보기 위해 상용화된 Polyetherimide (PEI) 중공사막에 Poly(dimethyl siloxane) (PDMS)로 코팅한 복합막 모듈을 이용하여 파일롯 테스트를 실시하였다. 공급액으로는 물과 IPA를 각각 85 : 15로 혼합하여 사용하였다. 실험 결과로 $25^{\circ}C$에서 투과도 $0.52kg/m^2h$, IPA 농도 68.5%로 높은 수치를, $55^{\circ}C$에서 투과도 $1.368kg/m^2h$, IPA 농도 61.2%로 높은 투과도를 얻을 수 있었다. 테스트를 진행한 복합막 모듈의 내구성을 알아보기 위하여 약 100일간 반응온도를 $50^{\circ}C$로 설정하여 장기테스트를 진행하였고 그 결과 약 $1.03{\sim}1.15kg/m^2h$의 투과도와 61.8~62.5%의 IPA 농도로 초기 측정량과 큰 차이가 없음을 나타내었다.

Effects of Isopropyl Alcohol Infusions on the Ruminating Behavior of Goats

  • Metabolites, such as isopropyl alcohol (IPA) produced by rumen fermentation, were intravenously infused into a jugular vein of goats during feeding to explore the mechanism and roles of IPA in ruminating behavior (number of boli and ruminating time). Three female goats were confined in metabolism cages with a stanchion, The ruminating behavior measured by the number of ruminations, ruminating time, number of remastications, and remasticating time decreased (p<0,05) with intravenous IPA infusion. The IPA concentrations and VFA concentrations increased in the blood circulation. Our data suggest that sensitive receptors of rumination to IPA are more likely to be in an area such as the brain stem where they can respond to blood metabolite levels.

  • Si anisotropic etching is a key technology for micromachining. The main advantages of tetramethyl ammonium hydroxide (TMAH)-based solution are their full compatibility with IC process. In this work the anisotropic etching of single crystal Si in a TMAH (($CH_3$)$_4$NOH) based solution was studied. The influence of the addition of IPA to TMAH solution on their etching characteristics was also presented. The crystal planes bounding the etch front and their etch rates were determined as a function of temperature, crystal orientation, and etchant concentration. The etch rates of (100) oriented Si crystal planes decreased linearly with increasing the IPA concentration, The etched (100) planes were covered by Pyramidal-shaped hillocks below 15 wt.%, but very smooth surfaces were obtained above 20 wt.%. The addition of IPA to TMAH solution leads to smoother surfaces of sidewalls etched planes.

병원의 서비스개선 우선순위 설정을 위한 IPA 적용 (An application of Important-Performance Analysis to set the service improvement priority in hospital)

  • The importance-performance analysis (IPA) is a widely used analytical technique that produces a priority of managerial attention for the customer satisfaction. This study attempted to compare various different approaches of IPA such as direct and indirect measurement of importance, and traditional four quadrants grid model and diagonal grid model of IPA. Data on 17 inpatient service quality attributes were collected from 234 inpatients of a general hospital. Eight IPA grids were produced to compare the result of each model. Based on the study results the strength and weakness of each model were discussed, and a set of recommendations for practical application of the IPA in hospital settings was suggested.

수정된 IPA를 활용한 호텔 키오스크 품질 속성에 관한 탐색적 연구 (An Exploratory Study on the Quality Attributes of Hotel Kiosks Using Revised IPA Analysis)

  • This study focuses on hotel kiosks that have begun to be introduced in earnest in mid-priced hotels, and the quality attributes of hotel kiosks, which are expected to be introduced throughout the hotel industry in the future, and validates them using a revised IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis). An online survey was conducted targeting hotel users who had used hotel kiosk devices, and difference analysis and IPA analysis were conducted on 239 people, excluding 61 who responded insincerely. As a result of the verification, there was no significant difference in hotel kiosk quality attributes by age, but there was no significant difference by age. It was found that there was a significant difference. As a result of analyzing the difference between importance and satisfaction, it was found that there was a partially significant difference. These results suggest standards for quality attributes in hotel kiosks and provide academic implications for future research and practical implications for hotel management practitioners.

  • This paper aims to examine the farmers' perceptions of the importance and feasibility of climate change awareness and adaptive measures in agriculture, utilizing paired sample t-tests and Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA). Significant differences were found in farmers' views on the importance and urgency of climate change issues, with specific factors standing out. The IPA analysis identified key issues requiring sustained attention, including climate change magnitude, extreme weather events, livestock damage scale, pest fluctuations, and variability in flowering periods. Additionally, the study revealed significant disparities in farmers' perceptions of the importance and feasibility of adaptive measures, except for specific items related to heat indices.

IPA 저온 접합법을 이용한 PMMA Micro CE Chip의 제작 (Fabrication of PMMA Micro CE Chip Using IPA Assisted Low-temperature Bonding)

  • This paper reports an improved bonding method using the IPA (isopropyl alcohol) assisted low-temperature bonding process for the PMMA (polymethylmethacrylate) micro CE (capillary electrophoresis) chip. There is a problem about channel deformations during the conventional processes such as thermal bonding and solvent bonding methods. The bonding test using an IPA showed good results without channel deformations over 4 inch PMMA wafer at $60^{\circ}C$ and 1.3 bar for 10 minutes. The mechanism of IPA bonding was attributed to the formation of a small amount of vaporized acetone made from the oxidized IPA which allows to solvent bonding. To verify the usefulness of the IPA assisted low-temperature bonding process, the PMMA micro CE chip which had a $45{\mu}m$ channel height was fabricated by hot embossing process. A functional test of the fabricated CE chip was demonstrated by the separation of fluorescein and dichlorofluorescein. Any leakage of liquids was not observed during the test and the electropherogram result was successfully achieved. An IPA assisted low-temperature bonding process could be an easy and effective way to fabricate the PMMA micro CE chip and would help to increase the yield.

용매에 따른 MWNT의 분산특성과 제조된 PU/MWNT 필름의 전기적·물리적 특성 분석 (Analysis of Electrical and Physical Property of the PU/MWNT Film and Dispersion Characteristics of MWNT According to the Solvent)

  • This paper surveys the physical properties of the MWNT dispersion solution dispersed with the three types of solvents and of the polyurethane composite film for improvement of mechanical properties and electrical characteristics of PU/MWNT composite film. For this purpose, the MWNT dispersed solution was mixed with three types of solvent such as IPA, MEK and Toluene and then mixed with polyurethane (100part) with variation of loading content (0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 part) of MWNT dispersed solution in the ultrasonic wave dispersion apparatus. And eighteen PU/MWNT composite films were prepared as specimens. The various physical properties of these PU/MWNT films were measured and discussed with the loading content of three types of MWNT dispersed solutions. The highest absorbancy among the three types of dispersed solutions was shown in the IPA/MWNT solution. But the absorbancy of PU/MWNT films was not same as the solution. The low electrical surface and volume resistivity of PU/MWNT film were shown at the condition of 20 and 10 parts loading of IPA/MWNT dispersed solution, respectively. The low triboelectricity of PU/MWNT film was shown at the condition of above 30part loading of IPA/MWNT dispersed solution. The breaking strength and strain of PU/MWNT film prepared with IPA/MWNT dispersed solution were decreased with increasing loading content of IPA/MWNT from 10 to 40 parts. The maximum breaking strength and breaking strain according to the dispersion solution were shown on the IPA/MWNT dispersed solution. The uniform dispersion of PU/MWNT film according to the loading content of MWNT solution was shown by surface image analysis on the films dispersed with IPA.

  • 가연성 혼합물의 최소자연발화온도 거동(MAITB, Minimum Autoignition Temperature Behavior)은 어떤 조성에서 두개의 순수물질 가운데 낮은 물질의 AIT보다 낮은 AIT를 갖는 현상을 말하며, 이는 위험물을 취급하는 공정에서 매우 관심있는 분야이다. 본 연구는 ASTM E659-78(Standard Test Method for Autoignition Temperature of Liquid Chemical)을 이용하여 toluene과 iso-propanol(IPA) 및 p-xylene과 n-butanol혼합물의 최소자연발화온도를 측정하였다. Toluene, IPA, p-xylene 그리고 n-butanol의 자연발화 온도는 각각 $547^{\circ}C,\;463^{\circ}C,\;557^{\circ}C,\;340^{\circ}C$였다. Toluene과 iso-propanol(IPA) 계의 경우는 3 : 7(Toluene :IPA) 비율의 혼합물 일 때는 IPA순수물질($464^{\circ}C$)보다 자연발화온도가 약 $3^{\circ}C$ 낮은 혼합물의 최소자연발화온도거동 MAITB(Minimum Autoignition Temperature Behavior)을 보였다.

IPA기법을 적용한 사회복지사례관리 직무수행 및 수퍼비전에 관한 연구 - 국가직무능력표준을 중심으로 (A Study on the Case Management Practice Using Importance-performance Analysis(IPA))

  • 본 연구의 목적은 사회복지사들의 사례관리직무를 IPA기법을 활용하여 분석함으로써 사례관리직무 수행 능력과 전문성 향상을 위한 방안을 모색하는데 있다. 이를 위해서 울산지역 사례관리업무를 담당하는 사회복지사를 대상으로 국가직무능력표준(NCS)에서 제시하는 사례관리직무(능력단위 9개, 능력단위요소 33개)에 대한 중요도-직무역량, 수퍼비전필요도-경험에 대한 인식을 조사하고, IPA분석을 실시하였다. 중요도-직무역량에 대한 분석결과, IPA격자도 영역별로 강화유지 12개, 중점개선 1개, 개선 9개, 과잉 11개 능력단위요소가 도출되었다. 수퍼비전필요도-경험에 대한 IPA분석결과는 강화유지 15개, 중점개선 5개, 개선 4개, 과잉 9개의 능력단위요소가 포함되었다. 본 연구결과는 '외부운영체계구축', '자원연계체계 개발'에 대한 직무역량을 중점적으로 강화하고, '외부운영체계구축', '내부운영체계구축'에 집중적인 수퍼비전이 필요함을 보여주었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 사례관리직무능력을 강화하기 위한 논의와 제언을 하였다.
