Implementation of FTTH System based on Ethernet PON Technology (이더넷 PON 기술 기반 FTTH 시스템 구현)

  • This paper addresses the implementation of FTTH system based on Ethernet PON technololy. This system consists of OLT and ONT. OLT supports the maximum 24 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, and then has the flexibility and the scalability for supplying digital communication and broadcasting convergence service in the near future. OLT system consists of switch module, subscriber module, processor module, and E-PON link module, and has the operating system based on Linux. ONT is installed in customer premise to supply both IP-TV and Internet service. Also ONT has the dedicated interface for IP-TV to improve the transmission characteristics of IP-TV signal. We measure the performance of E-PON MAC through this system and then QoS control characteristics per franc in ONT by separating the virtual link for IP-TV from that for data.

  • The IP cameras have rapidly replaced the analog CCTVs as the cameras have the advantages of not only being able to remotely monitor, but also supplying power through the UTP cable, In this paper, we introduce the protocol architecture of the ONVIF standard which is widely applied to the IP camera and other Internet protocols to support it, and implement the ONVIF Device on a commercial board. Although these functions can be controlled by the Client (PC), several functions such as privacy masks, temperature display of the thermal camera, and ROI (Region of Interest) are implemented through a web viewer on the device. Through the experiment, the functions of ONVIF Profile S and web viewer are verified through SOAP messages exchanged between Device (IP camera) and Client program and streamed images.

  • Recently, with the development of convergent media, the digital animation industry has developed a variety of content centered on the role of Intellectal Property. The excellent IP role image has created huge economic benefits in business. This paper selects three representative Intellectual Property animation cases from Japan, the United States and China. Analyzed of the reuse of IP animation character images and combined with the era technology and the style of culture and art, the traditional cultural IP roles are reconstituted into modern character design two aspects. Through the research of this paper, can understand the expansion possibility of IP animation according to the use of character image. It is expected that when making digital animation, can recognize the importance of intellectual property and use it as a reference for role development.

  • The global game market is growing evenly across a variety of platforms, but in the Korean game market is a decline in growth rates on PC and mobile platforms, which account for more than 80% of the total Korean game market, which requires an alternative. In this study, propose a multi-platform launch of IP-based games as a way to increase the growth rate of the Korean game market. It has been analyzed that multi-platform launch methods can be divided into Stand-alone Multi-platform method, Interlocking multi-platform method, and Upgrade-interlinking Multi-platform method, respectively, and the effect of expanding, providing more satisfactory game play environment and preventing them from escaping to competitive games. Given the limited case analysis in this study, further studies are needed to propose more effective multi-platform utilization measures.

Implementation of Public Address System Using Anchor Technology

  • A public address (PA) system installed in a building is a system that delivers alerts, announcements, instructions, etc. in an emergency or disaster situation. As for the products used in PA systems, with the development of information and communication technology, PA products with various functions have been introduced to the market. PA systems recently launched in the market may be connected through a single network to enable efficient management and operation, or use voice recognition technology to deliver quick information in case of an emergency. In addition, a system capable of locating a user inside a building using a location-based service and guiding or responding to a safe area in the event of an emergency is being launched on the market. However, the new PA systems currently on the market add some functions to the existing PA system configuration to make system operation more convenient, but they do not change the complex PA system configuration to reduce facility costs, maintenance, and management costs. In this paper, we propose a novel PA system configuration for buildings using audio networks and control hierarchy over peer-to-peer (Anchor) technology based on audio over IP (AoIP), which simplifies the complex PA system configuration and enables convenient operation and management. As a result of the study, through the emergency signal processing algorithm, fire broadcasting was made possible according to the detection of the existence of a fire signal in the Anchor system. In addition, the control device of the PA system was replaced with software to reduce the equipment installation cost, and the PA system configuration was simplified. In the future, it is expected that the PA system using Anchor technology will become the standard for PA facilities.

  • Mobile SNS is a new paradigm of the communication. These days, mobile services communicate with server by client applications. TALK or PUSH provide services using TCP/IP software in operation system through massage or data by socket. Thus, SNS and mobile convergence are necessary and new service is constructed using platform of SNS. In this paper, we design and implement TALK and PUSH services between clients by location based SNS using the socket type.

  • According to the enforcement of various laws for the ubiquitous city, the convergence technologies for the ubiquitous in the industry has been emerging. In this paper, we propose a method for the ubiquitous convergence technology by a functional integration of the public employment of the physical space and physical facilities, as the related laws are enforced and the city development plan is processed in the situation which constructs the ubiquitous and eco-city. We also present a scheme for the establishment to prepare the foundation of systematization, standardization, and information-oriented by providing an application example for the common-use-channel and unification IP pool based on the proposed method.

  • The objective of this paper is to examine the determinants of technology transfer for Small and Medium Enterprises. Based on IP-MARKET, KIPRIS, and Wintelips, we employ the logistic regression analysis using all data related with technology transfer in markets for intellectual property rights from 2008 through 2012. Our main results are as followings: (i)the more inventors the higher possibility; and (ii)the more claims and forwards the higher possibility of success in technology transfer in Small and Medium Enterprises.

  • This paper proposes efficient and secure two-way authentication protocol for binding update messages between mobile devices and home agents / correspondent nodes in IoT and Mobile IPv6 (MIPv6) environments with limited computing power and resources. Based on the MIPv6 message exchange, the proposed protocol satisfies both the authentication and the public key exchange optimized for both sides of the communication with minimum modification. In the future, we will carry out a performance analysis study by implementing the proposed protocol in detail.

  • Our society is currently exposed to environment of various information that is exchanged real time through networks. Especially regarding medical policy, the government rushes to practice remote medical treatment to improve the quality of medical services for citizens. The remote medical practice requires establishment of medical information based on big data for customized treatment regardless of where patients are. This study suggests establishment of regional medical cluster along with defense and protection cooperation models that in case service availability is harmed, and attacks occur, the attacks can be detected, and proper measures can be taken. For this, the study suggested forming networks with nationwide local government hospitals as regional virtual medical cluster bases by the same medical information system. The study also designed a mutual cooperation security model that can real time cope with IP Spoofing attack that can occur in the medical cluster and DDoS attacks accordingly, so that the limit that sole system and sole security policy have can be overcome.
