자기부상열차용 인버터 및 컨버터 소음에 관한 연구 (A Study of Maglev Train Inverter and Converter Noise)

  • Noise of the VVVF inverter and DC/DC converter, which are the most dominant noise sources of maglev train at low speed, is studied, The coils inside inverter and converter are excited by electro-magnetic forces, which results in core vibration and generations of the noise. It is found that the spectra of the noise show many harmonics, where there exist several different fundamental frequencies. Some noise reducing techniques are known for the transformer noise such as changing stiffness and using different core materials, which make less electrostatic responses, and consequently less noise. In this study, it is shown that the most effective and feasible noise reducing method is to increase the switching frequencies of the inverter and converter, where peaks in higher frequency are significantly reduced.

  • Recently, it is increased to adopt inverter system to household electrical appliances, especially in ai conditioner and refrigerator. Inverter system is adopted for improving the efficiency. But Inverter system makes acoustic noise caused by switching frequency. In household electrical appliace, it is important to reduce acoustic noise. And in some cases it is possible to magnify the acoustic noise caused by switching, by system which may have different transfer characteristic. In this paper, random PWM method was adopted in inverter refrigerator using 8 bit microprocesso. We found useful PWM frequency and adoptation method.

  • There is a noticeable hum from the inverter board of LCD TV when in operation. In this study, we investigate the source and the characteristics of this noise for the inverter board of LCD TV using measurement of vibration and noise. Modal analysis of vibration and noise is visualized for identification of noise sources and transmission vibration. The main source of noise was the transformer of the LCD TV inverter. A noise reduction was achieved by damping the structural elements.

고 효율, 저 잡음 특성을 가지는 양방향 태양광 인버터 (Bi-directional Photovoltaic Inverter with High Efficiency and Low Noise)

  • Due to merits cost and efficiency, the transformer-less type photovoltaic (PV) inverters have been popularized in the solar market. However, the leakage current flowing through a parasitic capacitor between PV array and ground can cause adverse effect in the transformer-less PV system. In this paper, a bi-directional PV inverter with high efficiency and low noise is proposed for the PV system with an energy storage device. The proposed inverter is a transformer-less type and performs the bi-directional power control between dc sources and grid with high efficiency. In addition, the proposed inverter can suppress the leakage current and obtain low noise characteristic. Finally, 3-kW prototype was implemented to confirm validity of the proposed inverter.

  • This paper deals with the optimization inverter design and minimization Conduced EMI noise by customizing IPM(Intelligent Power Module). Generally, In case of IPM, we realized that the trade-off relation between switching loss and spike voltage. Higher gate resistor causes tile lower spike voltage and the higher turn-off switching loss. But we know that the life cycle of inverter and the susceptibility of noise, so we optimized the gate resistor. Proposed method is that optimized the gate resistor suitable for the inverter and motor. The simulation and experimental results show that the spike voltage and Conduced EMI noise can be reduced without the additional circuit.

  • The phase noise reduction in a configuration of the HEMT oscillator with a dielectric resonator coupled by a quarter-wavelength impedance inverter is investigated. Two HEMT oscillators for a satellite payload system are manufactured in the same configuration except for the coupling configuration of the dielectric resonator (DR) in order to empirically demonstrate the phase noise reduction. Experimental result shows that a phase noise reduction by 14 dB can be enhanced by increasing the characteristic impedance of a coupling microstrip impedance inverter.

  • The reduction of chopping noise generated from inverter compressor and the piping design reducing vibration are the most important items in the quality of air conditioner. The chopping noise is identified by the study of the relationship between carrier frequency and natural frequency of the compressor shell. The high carrier frequency is the key factor in reduction of carrier noise. To keep the natural frequencies of the system as far as away from the operating frequencies appears to be the most important factor in the design of piping system.

  • In general, compressors for refrigerators are major noise source in home environment. The vibration originated from a pump of a compressor can make noise through suspension springs and a LDT(Line Discharge Tube). Especially for the inverter motor driven compressor, the vibration is more serious than it of the constant speed compressors. Because the operation frequency range of an inverter motor driven compressor is very wide from 1600 rpm to 4200 rpm. In this paper, we propose the numerical model to reduce vibration by designing weight balancers and grommets. Results for analytical investigations on the exciting force and moment at the pump mass center, weight balancers and exciting frequency variation are presented.

  • RPWM(Random Pulse Width Modulation)은 인버터의 스위칭 주파수를 랜덤(random)하게 변화시킴으로써 고조파 및 소음의 파워 스펙트럼을 광대역에 분산시켜 사람이 불쾌하게 느낄 수 있는 전자기적 가청 소음을 줄이기 위한 PWM 기법으로써 근래에 매우 각광받고 있다. 본 연구에서는 삼각파(반성파, carrier wave)의 주파수를 랜덤하게 변화시키는 방식의 RPWM에 의한 인버터 유도전동기 구동 장치를 구성하였다. 무항실에서 실험 측정한 소음의 파워 스펙트럼으로부터, 소음원에 대한 분석과 삼각파 주파수 변화 폭에 따른 스위칭 주파수대 소음의 저감 효과를 분석하였다. 고속의 DSP TMS320C31을 사용하여 속도 제어와 더불어 RPWM이 실시간적으로 가능하도록 하여, 부하 조건이 다양하게 변화하는 구동 장치에서도 삼각파 주파수의 중심 주파수 및 대역폭을 자유롭게 변화시킴으로써 효과적으로 스위칭 주파수대 가청 소음을 저감하였다.
