오프라인 프로그래밍을 이용한 스카라 로봇의 통합제어 시스템 설계 (Integrated Control System of SCARA Robot Based on Off-Line Programming)

  • We developed a Off-Line Graphic Simulator which can simulate a robot model in 3D graphics space in Windows 95 version. 4 axes SCARA robot was adopted as an objective model. Forward kinematics, inverse kinematics and robot dynamics modeling were included in the developed program. The interface between users and the off-line program system in the Windows 95' graphic user interface i\environment was also studied. The developing language is Microsoft Visual C++. Graphic libraries, OpenGL, y Silicon Graphics, Inc. were utilized for 3D graphics.

  • In this paper, we have developed a Widows 98 version Off-Line Programming System which can simulate a Robot model in 3D Graphics space. The SCARA robot with four joints (FARA SM5)was adopted as an objective model. Forward kinematics, inverse kinematics and robot dynamics modeling were included in the developed program. The interface between users and the OLP system in the Widows 98's GUI environment was also studied. The developing language is Microsoft Visual C++. Graphic 1ibraries, OpenGL, by silicon Graphics, Inc. were utilized for 3D Graphics.

호몰로지 제한조건을 이용한 다중하중하의 트러스 최적설계 (Truss Ooptimization Using Homology Constraints under Multiple Loadings)

  • The deformation of a structure shall be called homologous, if a given geometrical relation holds, for a given number of structural points, before, during, and after the deformation. Some researchers have utilized the idea on structural design with finite element method. The approaches use the decomposition of the FEM equation or equality of eqality equations to obtain homologous deformation. However, weight reduction and response constraints such as stress, displacement or natural frequency cannot be considered by those theories. An optimization method solving the above problems is suggested to gain homologous deformation. Homology constraints can be considered under multiple loadindg conditions as well as a single loading condition. Homology index is defined for the multiple loading conditions Examples are solved to present the performances of the method.

VCM을 이용한 리소그래피용 레티클 스테이지의 설계 및 기구학적 해석 (Design and Kinematic Analysis of the Reticle Stage for Lithography Using VCM)

  • This paper presents a design of the reticle stage for lithography using VCM(Voice Coil Motor) and kinematic analysis. The stage has three axes for X,Y,${\theta}_z$, those actuated by three VCM's individually. The reticle stage has cross coupled relations between X,Y,${\theta}_z$ axes, and the closed solution of the forward/inverse kinematics were solved to get an accurate reference position. The reticle stage for lithography was designed for reaching both high accuracy and long stroke, which was $0.1{\mu}m$ (X,Y)/ $1{\mu}rad({\theta}_z)$ accuracies and relatively long strokes about 2mm (X,Y) and 2 degrees(${\theta}_z$). Also this research presents a rotational compensation algorithm for the precision gap sensor for the stage. Simulation results show the overall performance of the whole algorithm and the improvement quantity of the rotational compensation algorithm.

  • This research would investigate deeply the operation of an omni-directional mobile robot that is able to move with high acceleration. For the high acceleration performance, the vehicle utilizes the structure of Active Split Offset Casters (ASOCs). This paper is mainly focused on inverse kinematics of the structure, hardware design to secure durability and preserve the wheels' contact to the ground during high acceleration, and localization for the real time position control.

  • Research on underwater sensor networks is increasing due to such reasons as marine resource management, maritime disaster prediction and military protection. Many underwater sensor networks performs wireless communication using an acoustic sound wave band signal having a relatively low frequency. So the digital part of their modem can take charge of carrier band signal processing. To enable this, the sampling rate of the baseband band signal should be increased to a sampling rate at which carrier band signal processing is possible. In this paper, we designed a sampling rate increasing circuit based on a CIC interpolator for underwater sensor nodes. The CIC interpolator has a simple circuit structure. However, since the CIC interpolator has a large attenuation of the pass band and a wide transition band, an inverse sinc LPF is added to compensate for frequency response of the CIC interpolator. The proposed interpolator was verified in time domain and frequency domain using ModelSim and Matlab.

  • Full scale durability test in the laboratory is an essential of any fatigue life evaluation of components or structures of the automotive vehicle. Component testing is particularly important in today's highly competitive industries where the design to reduce weight and production costs must be balanced with the necessity to avoid expensive service failure. Generally, hydraulic road simulator is used to carry out the fatigue test and the vibration test. In this paper, the link unit which is able to realize the 3 element forces such as vertical force, lateral force, and longitudinal force that are applied to the road simulator is designed. Also, the designed link is verified with kinematics and inverse-kinematics. From this results, the designed factor satisfied the maximum stroke so that it satisfied the requirements for 3-axial road simulator.

  • in order to perform a elaborate task like as assembly, manufacturing and so forth of components, tracking control on the trajectory of power coming in contact with a target as well as tracking control on the movement course trajectory of end-effector is indispensable. In this paper, to bring under robust and accurate control of auto-equipment systems which disturbance, parameter alteration of system, uncertainty and so forth exist, neural network controller called dynamic neural processor(DNP) is designed. Also, the learning architecture to compute inverse kinematic coordinates transformations in the manipulator of auto-equipment system is developed and the example that DNP can be used is explained. The architecture and learning algorithm of the proposed dynamic neural network, the DNP, are described and computer simulation are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed learning method using the DNP.
