병원과 지역사회에 근무하는 정신보건간호사의 전문직 자아개념 (Professional Self-concept of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in Hospitals and Public Health Centers)

  • This study was conducted to investigate and compare the degree of professional self -concept (PSC) of the psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners (PMHNP) in hospitals and public health centers and to identify the factors predicting PSC of them, in order to provide basic data for developing PSC increasing program PSC. The 355 PMHNP were sampled from the university or general hospitals. mental hospitals, community mental health centers and public health centers across the country. The scales used in this study were PSCNI by Arthur (1990), PSI by Heppner & Petersen (1982) and the Index of work satisfaction by Slavitt et al. (1978). The results of the study were as follows : 1. The average item score of PSCNI of PMHNP in hospitals was $2.83\pm0.27$, and that of PMHNP in public health centers was $2.76\pm0.28$. There was significantly different between two groups (p=0.0202) 2. A comparison of the scores for the dimensions of the PSCNI were as follows ; the mean item score of professional practice of nurses in hospital was $2.90\pm0.30$, and that in public health centers was $2.83\pm0.35$. There were significant differences between two groups in the scores of professional practices (p=0.0315), leadership (p=0.0071) and skills (p=0.0231). 3. There were significant differences between two groups according to education (p=0.0057) with no significant interaction effect of group and education. 4. Job satisfaction (JS) was the highest factor predicting PSC of PMHNP in hospitals $(34.5\%)$, and problem solving inventory score (PS) was the highest factor predicting PSC of PMHNP in public health centers $(33.6\%)$. JS and PS accounted for $42.6\%$ in PSC of PMHNP in hospitals. and PS, JS, age, marital status, religion, and career accounted for $57.6\%$ in PSC of PMHNP in public health centers. In the light of these results. to gam the professional self-concept. nurses should be educated continuously through role modeling in clinical nursing and research. Also, nurse educators and administrators need to develop programs and policies to increase professional self-concept of nurses, particularly of community PMHNP.

대학적응력 검사도구 척도 개발과 양호도 검증 (The Development of Scales on Rating College Students' Adaptability and the Analysis of Technical Quality)

  • 본 연구는 대학생의 대학적응력에 영향을 미치는 요인을 구성하고, 이를 진단하기 위한 대학적응력 척도 개발의 절차를 소개하며 검사도구의 양호도를 검증하였다. 이 도구는 3단계의 척도 추출 과정 및 6단계의 문항 추출 과정을 거쳐 제작하였다. 추출 결과, 학문적 통합성, 사회적 통합성, 정서적 안정성, 진로정체성, 학업여건 안정성, 교수와의 관계, 교육서비스 만족도, 대학교육 만족도 등 8개 척도, 142개 문항 구성을 통해 대학적응력을 측정하였다. 4개 대학 1,959명의 대학생을 대상으로 검사를 실시한 도구의 양호도 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 문항내적 일관성 전체 신뢰도 계수 Cronbach's ${\alpha}$는 .965, 범위는 .742~.937로써 신뢰도가 매우 높다. 둘째, 개별 문항의 양호도를 평가하기 위하여 각 척도 및 하위요인별로 문항 점수와 총점 간 상관계수에 의한 문항 변별도를 구했으며, 평균은 .147~.841이다. 셋째, 확인적 요인분석에 따른 구인타당도 검증 결과, CFA모델의 RMSEA = .08~.09이고, 모든 부합도지수가 기준에 양호하게 부합함으로써 각 척도에 속하는 문항들이 측정하고자 하는 특성을 타당하게 측정하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 척도별 대학적응경향성과 중도탈락경향성 점수 차이에 기초한 공인타당도 검증 결과, 학업여건 안정성을 제외한 모든 척도에서 유의수준 .05수준에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있음이 확인되었다. 연구결과, 대학적응력 진단 도구는 대학생의 대학적응경향성과 중도탈락경향성을 타당하게 예측하는 도구로 확인되었다.

평생교육강사의 프로티언 경력태도와 주관적 경력성공의 관계에서 셀프리더십의 매개효과 (The Mediating Effects of Self-Leadership on Relationship between Protean Career Attitude and Subjective Career Success in Lifelong Learning Educators)

  • 이 연구는 평생교육강사의 프로티언 경력태도와 주관적 경력성공의 관계에서 작용하는 셀프리더십의 매개효과를 알아보고, 이들 간 관계에 대한 이론적 시사점 및 실천적 제언을 하고자 하였다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 Briscoe, Hall과 Demuth(2006)의 프로티언 경력태도 측정도구, Houghton과 Neck(2002)의 셀프리더십 측정도구와 Greenhaus 외(1990)의 경력만족, Mobley 외(1994)의 직무만족, Johnson(2001)의 고용가능성 측정도구를 사용하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 인천지역 평생교육강사를 대상으로 총 450부를 배포하여 430부가 회수되었고, 회수된 430부 중 불성실한 응답이라 판단되는 4부를 제외한 426부를 최종 분석에 사용하였다(유효 자료율: 95.6%). 수집된 자료는 측정도구의 타당도 및 신뢰도를 검증하기 위해 확인적 요인분석을 실시했고, 연구의 가설을 검정하기 위해 구조방정식 모형 분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 평생교육강사의 프로티언 경력태도는 주관적 경력성공에 직접적인 정(+)의 영향을 미치고 있었고, 셀프리더십의 매개를 통해 간접적 영향을 미쳤다. 이상의 연구결과를 바탕으로 평생교육사의 프로티언 경력태도, 셀프리더십과 주관적 경력성공의 관계에 대한 이론적 시사점과 각 변인들의 수준을 향상시킬 수 있는 몇가지 실천적 방안을 제시하였다.

소집단 역동을 이용한 간호대학생의 의사소통 훈련프로그램의 효과 (The Effect of Small Group Based Communication Training Program on the Competency of Communication and the Human Relationship in Nursing College Students)

  • Background: Communication training in nursing college students is an integral part of the development of their competency in dealing with patients. However, the traditional lecture style of training delivery may not be desirably effective. Purpose: This study investigated the effects of a communication training program utilizing a small group dynamic on the communication competency and human relationships in nursing college students. Methods: One hundred twenty six freshmen in a university in Seoul participated in this study. The instruments of communication competency (Primary Communication Inventory) and human relationships (Relationship Change Scale) were used at the beginning and conclusion of the training period. Eighty-three students from two nursing classes were assigned to the experimental groups and 43 students from other classes were assigned to the control groups. Each of the 11 small groups was composed of 7 or 8 students. The weekly program that ran during the 2007 fall semester from October 1st to December 11th consisted of effective communication strategies including therapeutic communication skills, Johari's window, empathy, active listening, and transactional analysis. Results: The experimental group of students reported significantly greater improvement in communication competencies, specific nonverbal competencies, and human relationships compared with the control group. Specifically, the experimental students demonstrated greater improvement in nonverbal communication competencies and satisfaction, communication, and awareness of human relationships. Conclusions: Small group based communication training can be an effective alternative method of communication education for college nursing students.

치위생(학)과 학생의 비판적 사고 성향과 관련 요인 (Factors Associated with Critical Thinking Disposition in Dental Hygiene Students)

  • 치위생(학)과 학생의 비판적 사고 성향과 관련 요인을 파악하기 위해 3년제 치위생과 및 4년제 치위생학과 학생 941명을 대상으로 2011년 5월 3일부터 6월 5일까지 자기기입식 설문조사를 실시하고 최종적으로 909부를 분석하였다. 비판적 사고 성향 측정도구는 윤의 간호 대학생을 대상으로 조사하고 개발한 도구를 이용하였으며, 지적열정, 신중성, 체계성, 자신감, 객관성, 지적공정성, 건전한 회의 등 7개 요인의 27개 문항으로 구성되었다. 요인분석, 신뢰도 분석, 중회귀 분석, 다변량 분산분석 등을 통해 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 본 연구에 사용된 비판적 사고 성향 측정도구는 치위생(학) 학생 대상의 평가에 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 요인분석 결과 원 연구와 동일한 7개 요인이 추출되었으며, 각 요인에 적재된 문항도 원 연구와 일치하였고, 전체 분산의 51.34%를 설명하였다. 내적일관성 신뢰도(Cronbach's alpha)수는 0.82로서 원 연구결과와 유사하였고, 7개 하위요인의 신뢰도 역시 원연구결과와 유사하였다. 2. 학제에 따른 비판적 사고 성향 총합척도 및 7개 하위척도 점수의 차이를 비교하기 위해 독립표본 t 검정을 실시하였다. 비판적 사고 성향 총합척도의 평균은 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 하위척도는 지적 공정성을 제외한 6개 평균이 차이가 없었다. 3. 다중회귀 분석 결과 대인관계 만족도(p<0.001)와 전공 만족도(p<0.001)가 비판적 사고 성향에 영향을 미치고 있다($R^2=0.115$, F=11.896, p=0.000). 4. 다변량 분산분석 결과 대인관계 만족도 수준별 집단에 따라 다변량 통계량이 유의한 차이가 나타났다(Pillai의 트레이스=0.075, F(14, 1782)=4.979, p<0.001). 또한 전공 만족도 수준별 집단에 따라 다변량 통계량이 유의한 차이가 있었다(Pillai의 트레이스=0.035, F(14,1728)=2.257, p=0.005). 개체-간 효과 검정 결과, 대인관계 만족도 수준별 집단은 비판적 사고 성향의 하위요인 중 신중성을 제외한 6개 요인에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 전공만족도 수준별 집단은 비판적 사고 성향 하위요인 중 지적 열정(p=0.002), 체계성(p=0.013), 지적 공정성(p=0.003)은 유의한 차이가 있지만, 나머지 요인은 차이가 나타나지 않을 수 있다. 결론적으로, 치위생(학)과 학생의 비판적 사고 성향은 대인관계 및 전공만족도에 따라 차이가 있으나, 학제와 학년에 따른 차이가 나타나지 않아, 학생의 사고력 증진을 위한 교육 프로그램 개발이 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

참여자관점에서 공급사슬관리 시스템의 성공에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical Study on the Determinants of Supply Chain Management Systems Success from Vendor's Perspective)

  • The supply chain management (SCM) systems have emerged as strong managerial tools for manufacturing firms in enhancing competitive strength. Despite of large investments in the SCM systems, many companies are not fully realizing the promised benefits from the systems. A review of literature on adoption, implementation and success factor of IOS (inter-organization systems), EDI (electronic data interchange) systems, shows that this issue has been examined from multiple theoretic perspectives. And many researchers have attempted to identify the factors which influence the success of system implementation. However, the existing studies have two drawbacks in revealing the determinants of systems implementation success. First, previous researches raise questions as to the appropriateness of research subjects selected. Most SCM systems are operating in the form of private industrial networks, where the participants of the systems consist of two distinct groups: focus companies and vendors. The focus companies are the primary actors in developing and operating the systems, while vendors are passive participants which are connected to the system in order to supply raw materials and parts to the focus companies. Under the circumstance, there are three ways in selecting the research subjects; focus companies only, vendors only, or two parties grouped together. It is hard to find researches that use the focus companies exclusively as the subjects probably due to the insufficient sample size for statistic analysis. Most researches have been conducted using the data collected from both groups. We argue that the SCM success factors cannot be correctly indentified in this case. The focus companies and the vendors are in different positions in many areas regarding the system implementation: firm size, managerial resources, bargaining power, organizational maturity, and etc. There are no obvious reasons to believe that the success factors of the two groups are identical. Grouping the two groups also raises questions on measuring the system success. The benefits from utilizing the systems may not be commonly distributed to the two groups. One group's benefits might be realized at the expenses of the other group considering the situation where vendors participating in SCM systems are under continuous pressures from the focus companies with respect to prices, quality, and delivery time. Therefore, by combining the system outcomes of both groups we cannot measure the system benefits obtained by each group correctly. Second, the measures of system success adopted in the previous researches have shortcoming in measuring the SCM success. User satisfaction, system utilization, and user attitudes toward the systems are most commonly used success measures in the existing studies. These measures have been developed as proxy variables in the studies of decision support systems (DSS) where the contribution of the systems to the organization performance is very difficult to measure. Unlike the DSS, the SCM systems have more specific goals, such as cost saving, inventory reduction, quality improvement, rapid time, and higher customer service. We maintain that more specific measures can be developed instead of proxy variables in order to measure the system benefits correctly. The purpose of this study is to find the determinants of SCM systems success in the perspective of vendor companies. In developing the research model, we have focused on selecting the success factors appropriate for the vendors through reviewing past researches and on developing more accurate success measures. The variables can be classified into following: technological, organizational, and environmental factors on the basis of TOE (Technology-Organization-Environment) framework. The model consists of three independent variables (competition intensity, top management support, and information system maturity), one mediating variable (collaboration), one moderating variable (government support), and a dependent variable (system success). The systems success measures have been developed to reflect the operational benefits of the SCM systems; improvement in planning and analysis capabilities, faster throughput, cost reduction, task integration, and improved product and customer service. The model has been validated using the survey data collected from 122 vendors participating in the SCM systems in Korea. To test for mediation, one should estimate the hierarchical regression analysis on the collaboration. And moderating effect analysis should estimate the moderated multiple regression, examines the effect of the government support. The result shows that information system maturity and top management support are the most important determinants of SCM system success. Supply chain technologies that standardize data formats and enhance information sharing may be adopted by supply chain leader organization because of the influence of focal company in the private industrial networks in order to streamline transactions and improve inter-organization communication. Specially, the need to develop and sustain an information system maturity will provide the focus and purpose to successfully overcome information system obstacles and resistance to innovation diffusion within the supply chain network organization. The support of top management will help focus efforts toward the realization of inter-organizational benefits and lend credibility to functional managers responsible for its implementation. The active involvement, vision, and direction of high level executives provide the impetus needed to sustain the implementation of SCM. The quality of collaboration relationships also is positively related to outcome variable. Collaboration variable is found to have a mediation effect between on influencing factors and implementation success. Higher levels of inter-organizational collaboration behaviors such as shared planning and flexibility in coordinating activities were found to be strongly linked to the vendors trust in the supply chain network. Government support moderates the effect of the IS maturity, competitive intensity, top management support on collaboration and implementation success of SCM. In general, the vendor companies face substantially greater risks in SCM implementation than the larger companies do because of severe constraints on financial and human resources and limited education on SCM systems. Besides resources, Vendors generally lack computer experience and do not have sufficient internal SCM expertise. For these reasons, government supports may establish requirements for firms doing business with the government or provide incentives to adopt, implementation SCM or practices. Government support provides significant improvements in implementation success of SCM when IS maturity, competitive intensity, top management support and collaboration are low. The environmental characteristic of competition intensity has no direct effect on vendor perspective of SCM system success. But, vendors facing above average competition intensity will have a greater need for changing technology. This suggests that companies trying to implement SCM systems should set up compatible supply chain networks and a high-quality collaboration relationship for implementation and performance.
