In recent years, there have been an increasing number of experimental studies showing the need to include robustness criteria in the design process to develop complex active control designs for practical implementation. The paper investigates the crosswind aerodynamic parameters after the blocking phase of a two-dimensional square cross-section structure by measuring the response in wind tunnel tests under light wind flow conditions. To improve the accuracy of the results, the interpolation of the experimental curves in the time domain and the analytical responses were numerically optimized to finalize the results. Due to this combined effect, the three aerodynamic parameters decrease with increasing wind speed and asymptotically affect the upper branch constants. This means that the aerodynamic parameters along the density distribution are minimal. Taylor series are utilized to describe the fuzzy nonlinear plant and derive the stability analysis using polynomial function for analyzing the aerodynamic parameters and numerical simulations. Due to it will yield intricate terms to ensure stability criterion, therefore we aim to avoid kinds issues by proposing a polynomial homogeneous framework and utilizing Euler's functions for homogeneous systems. Finally, we solve the problem of stabilization under the consideration by SOS (sum of squares) and assign its fuzzy controller based on the feasibility of demonstration of a nonlinear system as an example.

Due to the asymptotic property, deadbeat control which is well used in digital control system can not be applied to the continuous time system. But recently by use of the finite Laplace Transform to transfer function and establishment of some settling conditions, CDBC(Continuous time Deadbeat Control) is studied. For CDBC design, transfer function is constituted with delay elements and then order and interpolation conditions are derived. In other way, digital deadbeat controller is implemented and it's output is changed to continuous type by smoothing elements. In this paper multirate sampling is used and so inner controller is sampled faster than output feedback loop. And End order smoothing elements is placed to the output of digital deadbeat controller. By the multirate sampling overall output response is improved. The controller is impleneted as a serial integral compensator in the forward path and a local feedback compensator introduced into the outpute feedback loop. Matlab Simulink is used for simulation.
In this paper, prediction of separation trajectory for Two-stage-To-Orbit space launch vehicle has been numerically simulated by using an aerodynamic database based on steady state analysis. Aerodynamic database were obtained for matrix of longitudinal and vertical positions. The steady flow simulations around the launch vehicle have been made by using a 3-D RANS flow solver based on unstructured meshes. For this purpose, a vertex-centered finite-volume method was adopted to discretize inviscid and viscous fluxes. Roe's finite difference splitting was utilized to discretize the inviscid fluxes, and the viscous fluxes were computed based on central differencing. To validate this flow solver, calculations were made for the wind-tunnel experiment model of the LGBB TSTO vehicle configuration on steady state conditions. Aerodynamic database was constructed by using flow simulations based on test matrix from the wind-tunnel experiment. ANN(Artificial Neural Network) was applied to construct interpolation function among aerodynamic variables. Separation trajectory for TSTO launch vehicle was predicted from 6-DOF equation of motion based on the interpolated function. The result of present separation trajectory calculation was compared with the trajectory using experimental database. The predicted results for the separation trajectory shows fair agreement with reference[4] solution.

According to the development of loading equipments, it is usual to change or replace the existing stores. It has been known that pylon-mounted under stores strongly affect aircraft dynamics characteristics due to the change of aerodynamics. To predict the aerodynamics and aero-elasticity is essentially requested with considering the configuration and shape of external stores during the development of aircraft and/or external stores. In this paper, computational fluid dynamics and computational structure dynamics interaction methodology are applied for prediction of aerodynamic characteristics for F-5 aircraft's horizontal tail with various shape of external stores. FLUENT and ABAQUS were used to calculate fluid and structural dynamics. Code-bridge was made base on the globally supported radial basis function to execute interpolation and mapping. As a result, even though the aeroelasticity of the horizontal tail slightly changes according to the shape of external store, the flutter was not occurred at the considered flight conditions in this study.

In the present study, Loop scheme is applied to generate smooth surfaces. To be consistent with the limit points of target surface, the initial sampling points are properly rearranged. The pointwise errors of curvature and position in the sequence of subdivision process are evaluated in the Loop subdivision scheme. A first-order shear deformable Loop subdivision triangular element which can handle transverse shear deformation of moderately thick shell are developed. The developed element is more general than the previous one based on classical shell theory, since the new one includes the effect of transverse shear deformation and has standard six degrees of freedom per node. The quartic box spline function is used as interpolation basis function. Numerical examples for the benchmark static shell problems are analyzed to assess the performance of the developed subdivision shell element and locking trouble.

The standard approach of image resampling is to fit the original image with continuous model and resample the function at a desired rate. We used the B-spline function as the continuous model because it oscillates less than the others. The main purpose of this paper is the derivation of a nonuniform optimal resampling algorithm. To derive it, needing approximation can be computed in three steps: 1) determining the I-spline coefficients by matrix inverse process, 2) obtaining the transformed-spline coefficients by the optimal resampling algorithm derived from the orthogonal projection theorem, 3) converting of the result back into the signal domain by indirect B-spline transformation. With these methods, we can use B-spline in the non-uniform resampling, which is proved to be a good kernel in uniform resampling, and can also verify the applicability from our experiments.

Artificial neural network (ANN) simulation is used to predict the dynamic change of permeate flux during wheat starch industry wastewater microfiltration with and without static turbulence promoter. The experimental program spans range of a sedimentation times from 2 to 4 h, for feed flow rates 50 to 150 L/h, at transmembrane pressures covering the range of $1{\times}10^5$ to $3{\times}10^5Pa$. ANN predictions of the wastewater microfiltration are compared with experimental results obtained using two different set of microfiltration experiments, with and without static turbulence promoter. The effects of the training algorithm, neural network architectures on the ANN performance are discussed. For the most of the cases considered, the ANN proved to be an adequate interpolation tool, where an excellent prediction was obtained using automated Bayesian regularization as training algorithm. The optimal ANN architecture was determined as 4-10-1 with hyperbolic tangent sigmoid transfer function transfer function for hidden and output layers. The error distributions of data revealed that experimental results are in very good agreement with computed ones with only 2% data points had absolute relative error greater than 20% for the microfiltration without static turbulence promoter whereas for the microfiltration with static turbulence promoter it was 1%. The contribution of filtration time variable to flux values provided by ANNs was determined in an important level at the range of 52-66% due to increased membrane fouling by the time. In the case of microfiltration with static turbulence promoter, relative importance of transmembrane pressure and feed flow rate increased for about 30%.

In Japan, high-speed ground transportation service using linear motors at speeds of 500 km/h is scheduled to begin in 2027. To accommodate 5G services in trains, a subcarrier spacing frequency of 30 kHz will be used instead of the typical 15 kHz subcarrier spacing to mitigate Doppler effects in such high-speed transport. Furthermore, to increase the cell size of the 5G mobile system, multiple base station antennas will transmit identical downlink (DL) signals to form an expanded cell size along the train rails. In this situation, the forward and backward antenna signals are Doppler-shifted in opposite directions, respectively, so the receiver in the train may suffer from estimating the exact Channel Transfer Function (CTF) for demodulation. In a previously published paper, we proposed a channel estimator based on Delay and Doppler Profiler (DDP) in a 5G SISO (Single Input Single Output) environment and successfully implemented it in a signal processing simulation system. In this paper, we extend it to 2×2 MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) with spatial multiplexing environment and confirm that the delay and DDP based channel estimator is also effective in 2×2 MIMO environment. Its simulation performance is compared with that of a conventional time-domain linear interpolation estimator. The simulation results show that in a 2×2 MIMO environment, the conventional channel estimator can barely achieve QPSK modulation at speeds below 100 km/h and has poor CNR performance versus SISO. The performance degradation of CNR against DDP SISO is only 6dB to 7dB. And even under severe channel conditions such as 500km/h and 8-path inverse Doppler shift environment, the error rate can be reduced by combining the error with LDPC to reduce the error rate and improve the performance in 2×2 MIMO. QPSK modulation scheme in 2×2 MIMO can be used under severe channel conditions such as 500 km/h and 8-path inverse Doppler shift environment.
The Real-time Analysis for Particle-transport and In-situ Detection (RAPID) Code System, developed based on the Multi-stage Response-function Transport (MRT) methodology, enables real-time simulation of nuclear systems such as reactor cores, spent nuclear fuel pools and casks, and sub-critical facilities. This paper presents the application of a novel fission matrix-based burnup methodology to the well-characterized JSI TRIGA Mark II research reactor. This methodology allows for calculation of nuclear fuel depletion by combination and interpolation of RAPID's burnup dependent fission matrix (FM) coefficients to take into account core changes due to burnup. The methodology is compared to experimentally validated Serpent-2 Monte Carlo depletion calculations. The results show that the burnup methodology for RAPID (bRAPID) implemented into RAPID is capable of accurately calculating the keff burnup changes of the reactor core as the average discrepancies throughout the whole burnup interval are 37 pcm. Furthermore, capability of accurately describing 3D fission source distribution changes with burnup is demonstrated by having less than 1% relative discrepancies compared to Serpent-2. Good agreement is observed for axially and pin-wise dependent fuel burnup and nuclear fuel nuclide composition as a function of burnup. It is demonstrated that bRAPID accurately describes burnup in areas with high gradients of neutron flux (e.g. vicinity of control rods). Observed discrepancies for some isotopes are explained by analyzing the neutron spectrum. This paper presents a powerful depletion calculation tool that is capable of characterization of spent nuclear fuel on the fly while the reactor is in operation.
