  • Background: This study aimed to identify the types of adult attachment and determine the relationship between adult attachment and job factors in dental hygienists. Ultimately, it was necessary to identify the need for a secure attachment to improve the quality of clinical dental hygienist's services. Methods: Data of 454 clinical dental hygienists working in dental hospitals or clinics were collected. The research tools consisted of items related to the general and work characteristics of dental hygienists (9 items), adult attachment styles (36 items), organizational commitments (12 items), occupational stress (15 items), and interpersonal relations (18 items). Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ of each tool was ${\geq}0.7$. Results: Most of the participants had fearful attachment styles, followed by dismissing-avoidance, security, and preoccupation. Security was the highest level of organizational commitment according to the adult attachment style, although the differences of the levels were insignificant. For occupational stress, preoccupation was the highest, followed by fearful, security, and dismissing-avoidance, and the differences were significant (p<0.001). For interpersonal relations, security was the highest, followed by preoccupation, dismissing-avoidance, and fearful in order, and the differences were significant (p<0.001). Conclusion: Job stress and interpersonal relation ability according to the adult attachment style of clinical dental hygienists had significant results. Thus, the development of attachment improvement programs by personal style, development of differentiated clinical education and its application, and improvements in the adult attachment styles of clinical dental hygienists would be required rather than simply presenting the needs to collectively improvement the working environment.

  • This study would like to know the relationship among interpersonal competency based self-understanding and acceptance of others, self leadership, stress-coping and military adjustment. For this, 1289 military trainee in the army training station were surveyed. In results, The first, the acceptance of others did not have a significant effect on the perform-will, but had a significant effect on the job satisfaction and self leadership. The self-understanding had a significant effect on perform-will, job satisfaction and self leadership. The second, self leadership mediated between interpersonal competency and military adjustment. The third, in case of the perform-will, the moderating effect was showed in self leadership when the stress coping level was high. But in case of the job satisfaction, it was showed in both high group and low. Implications of this study is that the interpersonal competency based self-understanding and acceptance of others, self leadership and stress coping can be the positive potential variables on the military adjustment.

  • This study was conducted to confirm the mediating effect of interpersonal skills on the relationship between COVID-19 stress and digital addiction of nursing students. Data were collected through an online survey from April 1 to April 30, 2022, for 207 students in the first and second grades of nursing department in two cities. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 22.0 and AMOS 22.0 programs. As a result of the analysis, COVID-19 stress had a significant direct effect on interpersonal ability(β=.21, p=.015) and digital addiction(β=.20,p=.003). But the indirect effect was not significant, so there no mediating effect on interpersonal ability between the stress of COVID-19 and digital addiction(β=.07, p=.314). Based on the results of this study, we suggest the development of a program to identify factors affecting digital addiction and to prevent and manage digital addiction.

Method: The data were collected by 68 subjects, using the self-reported questionnaires. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and pearson correlation coefficient. Result: The mean score of job stress was $3.19({\pm}.60)$, health perception scale was $3.04({\pm}.49)$ and health promoting life style profile was $2.49({\pm}.30)$. The relationship among job stress, health perception and health promoting life style were not statistically significant. The relationships between age, overloading job, knowledge & skill deficit and problem of interpersonal relationship were statistically significant. The relationship between religion and problem of interpersonal relationship was statistically significant. The relationships between single of marital status, knowledge & skill deficit and problem of interpersonal relationship were statistically significant. The relationship between career and stress management was statistically significant. Conclusion: These results suggested that health promotion program for community health nurses to reduce job stress, promoting health promoting life style should be carefully developed so as to provide better quality of health care services to the community people.

  • This study analyzed the moderating effect according to school levels in the structural relationship between stressful interpersonal relationships at work and rumination in teachers' depression. For this study, a research model was formed based on theoretical understandings and a literature review. The researchers surveyed 811 teachers at primary and secondary schools to measure scales of depression, rumination, and stress in interpersonal relationships at work. Primary education and secondary education were the grouping variables for the school levels, and the collected data was analyzed using multi-group structural equation modeling. Also, to affirm equivalence between the two models, the data was investigated using the constrained model of measurement equivalence. The research results verified the equivalence between the two models and the moderating effect by comparing the path coefficients of the two models on the assumption of equivalence constraint. As a result, the moderating effect according to school levels was revealed on the path from stressful interpersonal relationships at work to depression. Grounded on this analysis, stress in interpersonal relationships at work mediates the impact of rumination in teachers' depression. In addition, the research revealed that the moderating effects on stressful interpersonal relationships at work varied according to school level, and the moderating effect of stress in interpersonal relationships at work affected middle school teachers but not primary school teachers.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the factors affecting stress before clinical practice among nursing students. The subjects of the study were surveyed on third-grade students who were about to undergo their first clinical practice. The data collection period was from December 22, 2023 to January 10, 2024, with a total of 191 nursing students. The instruments used for this study were Perceived stress scale(Pss), Self-leadership, and Global Interpersonal Communication Competency(GICC) scale. The data were analyzed by t-tests, ANOVA, Scheffé test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression using SPSS/WIN 21.0. The results of the study showed a negative correlation with self-leadership(r=-.29, p=<.001) and interpersonal communication competence(r=-.40, p=<.001). In the stepwise multiple regression analysis, it was found that the stress levels of nursing students before clinical practice were influenced by factors such as gender, satisfaction with the department, and interpersonal communication competence. These variables explained 33.7% of the variance in pre-clinical stress. Based on the findings of this study, it is recommended to develop educational interventions that can help reduce stress before clinical practice among nursing students.
