Background: This study aimed to observe the effect of internship in a pre-anesthetic clinic on the teaching quality of pre-anesthesia evaluation for undergraduates. Methods: A total of 120 undergraduates from July 2017 to July 2018 in the anesthesia department of our hospital were randomly divided into two groups: pre-anesthetic clinic internship teaching group (n = 60) and traditional teaching group (n = 60). The knowledge in the pre-anesthesia evaluation teaching chapters was evaluated between the two groups of undergraduates. Results: There were no significant differences in the demographic information between the two groups. The scores in the case analysis and theoretical knowledge test in the pre-anesthetic clinic internship teaching group were significantly higher than those in the traditional teaching group. In addition, the students' satisfaction with the curriculum design was significantly higher in the pre-anesthetic clinic internship teaching group than in the traditional teaching group. Conclusion: Pre-anesthetic clinic internships can improve the quality of pre-anesthesia assessment teaching for undergraduates.

Nowadays clusters are recognized as an important instrument for promoting industrial development, innovation, competitiveness and growth. An educational cluster is a set of interrelated vocational educational institutions of various levels that are united by industry with each other and are connected by partnership with industry enterprises. This article attempts to develop and describe cluster model of university students' multilingual training. The purpose of this study is to describe multilingual training of university students and their polycultural competencies formation and to define the process of multilingual training in form of a cluster. The authors consider clusters as an integral part of the educational campus within the concept framework of Shadrinsk State Pedagogical University. To determine the essence of the concept of a cluster model of university students' multilingual training, theoretical, empirical, observational, and diagnostic methods were implemented, such as a review of scientific literature, a compilation of best practices, observation, statistical methods, etc. The authors analyzed the programs of partner universities and organized international webinars and internships for bachelors and masters abroad and developed online courses "Foreign language for undergraduate students and masters". Experimental data obtained during the implementation of cluster training show the effectiveness of the formation of students' polycultural competencies.

Background: Factors related to waiting and staying time for patient care in emergency care center (ECC) were examined during 1 month from Apr. 1 to Apr. 30, 1997 at an ECC of Yeungnam university hospital in Taegu metropolitan city, to obtain the baseline data on the strategy of effective management of emergency patients. Method: The study subjects consisted of the 1,742 patients who visited at ECC and the data were obtained from the medical records of ECC and direct surveys. Results: The mean interval between ECC admission time and initial care time by each ECC duty residents was 83.1 minutes for male patients and 84.9 minutes for female patients, and mean ECC staying time (time interval between admission and final disposition from ECC) was 718.0 minutes in men and 670.5 minutes in women. As the results, the mean staying time in ECC was higher in older age, and especially the both of initial care time and staying time were highest in patients of medical aid, and shortest in patients of worker's accident compensation insurance. The ECC staying ti initial care time was much more delayed in patients of not having previous medical records and the ECC staying time was higher in referred patients from out-patient department, in transferred patients from the other hospitals and patients having previous records, and in patients partly used the order-communicating system. The factors associated with the initial care time were the numbers of ECC patients and the existence of any true emergent patients, being cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) statusme was much more longer in patients of drug intoxication, in CPR patients, in medical department patients, in transfused patients and in patients related to 3 or more departments. And according to the numbers of duty internships, the ECC staying time for four internships was more longer than for five internships and after admission ordering was done, also-more longer in status being of no available beds. As above mentioned results, the factors for the ECC staying time were thought to be statistically significant (P<0.01) according to the patient's age and the laboratory orders and the X-ray films checked. And also the factor for the ECC staying time were thought to be statistically significant (P<0.01) according to the status being of no available beds, the laboratory orders and/or the special laboratory orders, the X-ray films checked, final disposing department, transferred to other hospital or not, home medication or not, admission or not, the grades of beds, the year grades of residents, the causes of ECC visit, the being CPR status on admission or not, the surgical operation or not, being known personells in our hospital. Conclution: Authors concluded that the relieving method of long-staying time in ECC was being establishing the legally proved apparatus which could differentiate the true emergency or non-emergency patients, and that the methods of shortening ECC staying time were doing definitely necessary laboratory orders and managing beds more flexibly to admit for ECC patients and finally this methods were thought to be a method of unloading for ECC personnels and improving the quality of care in emergency patients.

This study suggests a Korean fashion design education model through a comparison of the fashion design curriculum and education systems in the USA, Europe, and Korea. For this, a case study of fashion design curriculum and education systems in the USA was performed with literature reviews about education methodology and design process to develop creativity, following the prior study, A Comparative Study on Fashion Design in Europe and Korea. For the case study, 12 superior fashion design education institutions in the USA were chosen from fashionista (N.Y.) and the goals, the emphases, the constitution of the online curriculum of each undergraduate fashion design course were examined. As a result of this study, Korean fashion design education model (1+2.5+0.5 model), was proposed by integrating the education systems of the USA and Europe, as follow: First, Korean fashion design education institutions need to be characterized and the departments/majors should be gradually specialized by the major. Second, foundation courses prior to undergraduate courses or during the 1st year should be established to result in a multi- disciplinary basic education. Third, a project based major needs to be performed that connects fashion design subjects with their related subjects for 2 and a half years as of the $2^{nd}$ year. These projects can be progressed by problem-solving design process of problem-identification and brainstorming-research, analysis-design concept-design ideation, selection-design development, implementation-critical evaluation and solutions. Fourth, collaborative projects or integrated courses with related Liberal Arts or other art and design majors should lead to muliti-discilplinary education. Fifth, the chance of increased active industry-academy collaboration and actual employment or enterprise can be facilitated by the establishment of only the courses related to domestic or international internships during the $2^{nd}$ semester of the $4^{th}$ year.

Objectives : This study aimed to examine current educational experiences, knowledge, intention to report, and requests for child abuse education in medical interns. Methods : A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted in 2006 and 2007. The study sample consisted of 193 medical interns who served their internships at the university hospital. They answered 11 self-administered questionnaires related to child abuse. Results : Although respondents indicated a strong will to assist in eradicating abuse of children, about 90% had no educational experiences and knowledge of child abuse. Ignorance was a major factor for low reported cases of abused children. The preferred nominated reporting agency for child abuse was the National Child Protection Agency in 47.9% of female respondents, while 48.3% of males nominated Police Stations as their preferred option. In relation to sexual abuse, Police Stations were the preferred reporting agency by 49.2% of males and 37.0% of females. Medical school curricula were chosen by the majority of interns as the most appropriate stage where child abuse education should be introduced. Conclusion : This study found that medical graduates had limited experience and knowledge related to child abuse. The medical school curricula for child abuse needs to be further developed, implemented, and evaluated when appropriate.

Lee, Myung-bak Administration comprises the plan to foster the Universities as a world's research and development point, and to strengthen the Institute-Academia Collaboration for the knowledge based economy in the new plan of science and technology. In addition, by participating Universities into the medium-and long-term research business of government-supported institute, it is expected to strengthen the basic initiative research, revitalize the joint study conducted by the universities and government-supported institute, and to reshuffle the statutes to promote personnel exchanges between the universities and government-supported institute. Universities role as a principle of innovation in the field of Aerospace is getting its weight so that the necessity of the institute-academia collaboration is increasing. Types of the Institute-Academia Collaboration can be categorized into the Joint-Study, internships for the students in Masters and Ph. D. programs, Professor-Researcher Exchange, Joint Research Lab, and Joint Postgraduate Course, and those are the cases from the U.S., Brazil, Germany, France, Japan, and Korea. High mutual reliance on the research subject, mutual trust on the research capability, and abundant and flexible capabilities in sources are required to make a success in Institute-Academia Collaboration.
The purpose of this research is to present an opinion on the development of a systematic program for the training of talented students at domestic universities for overseas employment, effective usage of overseas field practice and internship, and the importance of the programs that can provide prepared future Taekwondo professional with the opportunities to be successfully employed by desired overseas institutes worldwide. The objects of research were 15 persons who experienced overseas internship. The results of the research obtained through in-depth interviews were; firstly, the merits and demerits of internship; secondly, the changes made after experiencing internship; and thirdly, what they want to say to their juniors who are preparing for internship.
The purpose of this study was to establish a better operation plan for medical school student internship by gaining a deeper understanding of the student internship process. Toward this end, an investigation was carried out using in-depth interviews of students with experience as student internship at Catholic University of Daegu School of Medicine. Students who participated in the student internship program at Catholic University of Daegu School of Medicine took part in the clinic twice every two-week period for a total of four weeks as a member of the care team. The students performed several activities during their internships, including for example history taking, physical examinations, keeping medical records, simulation of writing prescriptions, clinical skills, patient education, night work, and rounds with the attending professor. In this study were analyzed the contents of a student internship, the difference in clerkship, the competence of the faculty, student participation attitudes and the overall effect of the internship on the students. It was found that the in-depth contents, passion of members including professors and students, especially the role of the professor, was more important component than the contents of the internship program or clinical training. The student-intern system was revealed to have the following positive characteristics: 1) education deeper than clerkship was performed through one-on-one faculty-student interaction, and 2) students' experience was broadened.
Recently, the tendency in the education system orientes to developing people of interdisciplinary abilities, this study was conducted to explore career process and to aware the career through internship participation of nursing students and to investigate effect of convergence program. The study conducted in-depth interview with 14 undergraduate nursing students who participated convergence program at various medical organizations. Collection data was analyized based on grounded theory. The research finding shows that Internship Experience was four categories and 12 themes. Four categories are participation motivation internships, Career Exploration process through internship, various learning for career preparation and career awareness In order to operate effective convergence program, various learning opportunities and building relationships with the members in organizations are provided and organizational system support is needed.

This study suggests the direction of fashion design education suitable for Korea by comparing the fashion design educational systems and the curricula of the main fashion institutions in Europe and those of some universities in Korea. For this, 6 fashion schools in UK, France and Italy and 12 four-year-course universities in Korea were sellected. At first, the educational systems of the nations above and the information about the selected institutions were examined through literature reviews. Then, case studies were performed about the curricula and the other characteristics of the selected fashion design courses by each website or leaflet as well as additional interviews with their course directors or graduates. The results of this study are as follow: First, Korean fashion design education system needs to be specialized and subdivided with a curriculum centered on fashion design. Second, a foundation course needs to be developed to raise a broad and creative approach for design as well as to discover each student's aptitude. Third, the curricula about design process and research methodology need to raise a problem-solving individual of ability. Fourth, a project-based fashion design education is required by a specialized education as well as multi-disciplinary programs. Fifth, an industry- related and market-based fashion design education is asked through internships, professional teaching staff, industry-sponsored projects, seminars and professional design critics. Sixth, English and technology needs to be added to the curricula to develop global professionals. Finally, a cultural fashion design education based on Korean identity is required to develop the Korean fashion industry into a higher value-added business.
