This study examined the frequency, format, and activity of Internet references of four major journals in Library and Information Science in Korea. Sampled articles of each journal were published during 2002-2009. The results show five implications. 1) Overall 15.5% of all references were Internet references. 2) The number of Internet references has continuously increased since 2002. 3) The type of Internet references were most commonly "web document(84.3%), followed by" PDF(14%). 4) Nearly 55% of Internet reference were ".or(org)" and ".ac(edu))". 5) The percentage of inactive Internet references increased from 34.4% at 3 years to 44.1% at 5 years and to 53.3% at 10 years after publication. Although this study may not be representative of the entire field, it shows that Internet references occurred frequently and were often inaccessible within years after publication.
We collected references on South Pacific Studies from several resources: mainly internet resources and periodicals. Internet resources include associations, organizations and societies; cultural resources; environmental issues; government data; information resources; journals and news letters; libraries, archives, publishers; news sources; other sources; regional issues; selected full text documents and digital resources; and statistics. Periodicals include news and popular interest magazines; regional magazines and general interest publications; and scholarly and professional journals.

Recently, a memory management strategy that utilizes read and write references separately is attracting attention. This is due to the emergence of new storage media with asymmetric read/write latencies and different read/write access characteristics of software. Existing research assumes that operating systems can differentiate between read/write references that occur on each memory page, but most memory architectures do not support a way to distinguish them. Unlike previous studies, this paper proposes a software method that reflects the read/write characteristics of page references by utilizing the reference and modified bits of each page. Simulations show that the proposed policy has almost similar effects to existing studies with hardware support.

With the recent advances in AI (artificial intelligence) and HPC (high-performance computing) technologies, deep learning is proliferated in various domains of the 4th industrial revolution. As the workload volume of deep learning increasingly grows, analyzing the memory reference characteristics becomes important. In this article, we analyze the memory reference traces of deep learning workloads in comparison with traditional workloads specially focusing on read and write operations. Based on our analysis, we observe some unique characteristics of deep learning memory references that are quite different from traditional workloads. First, when comparing instruction and data references, instruction reference accounts for a little portion in deep learning workloads. Second, when comparing read and write, write reference accounts for a majority of memory references, which is also different from traditional workloads. Third, although write references are dominant, it exhibits low reference skewness compared to traditional workloads. Specifically, the skew factor of write references is small compared to traditional workloads. We expect that the analysis performed in this article will be helpful in efficiently designing memory management systems for deep learning workloads.

The article reviews the quality of information on the Internet in general and health information in particular, where the accumulation and steady increase of information available on the Internet, without concern for its quality or importance, and regardless of the target audience, in addition to the lack of evidence of its credibility such as the availability of the name of the editor and references, and the availability of the name of an academic or research body responsible for that information. Add to this the lack of bibliographic data that can help infer the novelty of the information, and verify the element of trust in it . The problem is exacerbated with regard to the health information available on the Internet, due to its danger resulting from the presence of false health information that may cause danger to human health if relied upon. Through this article, the researcher proposes criteria that can help users search for information to measure the degree of quality, trust, and credibility of information in general and health information available on the Internet in particular.

Distance Vector-Hop (DV-Hop) algorithm is widely used in node localization. It often suffers the wormhole attack. The current researches focus on Double-Wormhole-Node-Link (DWNL) and have limited attention to Multi-Wormhole-Node-Link (MWNL). In this paper, we propose a security DV-Hop algorithm (AMLDV-Hop) to resist MWNL. Firstly, the algorithm establishes the Neighbor List (NL) in initialization phase. It uses the NL to find the suspect beacon nodes and then find the actually attacked beacon nodes by calculating the distances to other beacon nodes. The attacked beacon nodes generate and broadcast the conflict sets to distinguish the different wormhole areas. The unknown nodes take the marked beacon nodes as references and mark themselves with different numbers in the first-round marking. If the unknown nodes fail to mark themselves, they will take the marked unknown nodes as references to mark themselves in the second-round marking. The unknown nodes that still fail to be marked are semi-isolated. The results indicate that the localization error of proposed AMLDV-Hop algorithm has 112.3%, 10.2%, 41.7%, 6.9% reduction compared to the attacked DV-Hop algorithm, the Label-based DV-Hop (LBDV-Hop), the Secure Neighbor Discovery Based DV-Hop (NDDV-Hop), and the Against Wormhole DV-Hop (AWDV-Hop) algorithm.

In wide-ranging information society, fast and easy access to information in language of one's choice is indispensable, which may be provided by using various multilingual Natural Language Processing (NLP) applications. Natural language text contains references among different language elements, called anaphoric links. Resolving anaphoric links is a key problem in NLP. Anaphora resolution is an essential part of NLP applications. Anaphoric links need to be properly interpreted for clear understanding of natural languages. For this purpose, a mechanism is desirable for the identification and resolution of these naturally occurring anaphoric links. In this paper, a framework based on Hobbs syntactic approach and a system developed by Lappin & Leass is proposed for resolution of reflexive anaphoric links, present in Urdu text documents. Generally, anaphora resolution process takes three main steps: identification of the anaphor, location of the candidate antecedent(s) and selection of the appropriate antecedent. The proposed framework is based on exploring the syntactic structure of reflexive anaphors to find out various features for constructing heuristic rules to develop an algorithm for resolving these anaphoric references. System takes Urdu text containing reflexive anaphors as input, and outputs Urdu text with resolved reflexive anaphoric links. Despite having scarcity of Urdu resources, our results are encouraging. The proposed framework can be utilized in multilingual NLP (m-NLP) applications.
The first purpose of this study was to compare the factors of information searching before purchasing with the factors of information offering after purchasing of the products, which were communication contents about the wedding Hanbok in internet communities. The second purpose was to propose marketing strategies for internet wedding Hanbok marketer. To accomplish the goal, the content analysis method which considered references and opinions of internet community members was used. Two hundred cases from WEDDING CLUB(62,893members), WEDDING GONGBU (18,649members), and WEDDING DOUMI (17,326members) in Daum internet portal site were selected from August 1 to September 21, 2003. The results were as follows: First, the information factors which were considered seriously when consumers purchased wedding Hanbok, were design, the level of sewing, price, store location, cognitive power, service level, and manufacturing time. Second, the consumers considered the price as the most important factor when they searched internet information. Third, the service factor was also considered importantly, and it was recognized important factor so much after purchasing as before purchasing wedding Hanbok. Fourth, the factors such as cognitive power, manufacturing time and store location were seriously considered as the information searching factors before purchasing. It showed higher rate when compared with information offering factors of after purchasing the wedding Hanbok. Fifth, the factor of sewing was considered as lower rate than other factors. It showed similar results before and after purchasing the wedding Hanbok.
In recent years, Internet Word of Mouth (IWOM) as an important way for internet consumers to obtain product information, it has become a key factor influencing consumers purchase intention. However, does IWOM also affect consumers' willingness to buy in the E-commerce live broadcast environment? What online IWOM can make a difference? And how? This study establishes a theoretical model of the impact of IWOM on consumer purchase intention in Chinese E-commerce live broadcast. Questionnaire data were collected from 204 people through the internet, with the model and the hypotheses are tested by SPSS 21.0 software. The research results show that: Firstly, the influencing factors of IWOM in the E-commerce live broadcast are different from those in general E-commerce. Secondly, anchor traits, word of mouth quantity, and product involvement have a positive impact on consumers purchase intentions, but the strength of relationship, word of mouth quality and Word of mouth timeliness do not have significantly direct effect on consumers' purchase intentions. Finally, conclusion with theoretical references and practical suggestions for E-commerce live broadcast merchants that may enter the Chinese market.
This study provides references to reduce consumer dissatisfaction by identifying the level of consumer dissatisfaction after the purchase and use of imported famous brand goods. In addition, it was aimed to provide basic materials for consumer education programs that will induce the rational consumption of imported famous brand goods. The survey was conducted on females in their 20s and 30s. A total of 483 questionnaires were used for the analysis. The results were as follows:(1) Consumer dissatisfaction with the purchase and use of imported famous brand goods showed a slightly higher level than the median and, (2) consumers had a lower level of consumer dissatisfaction when they had a higher ability to use internet information, greater financial stress, a higher educational level, and a greater availability of consumer education through newspapers and magazines. Additionally, consumers had a higher level of consumer dissatisfaction when they had greater holdings of imported famous brand goods, greater monthly income, and more experiences with overseas travel.
