The Design and Implementation of Intelligent Internet Outlet for Real-Time Scheduling Control (실시간 스케줄링 제어를 위한 지능형 인터넷 전원 콘센트의 설계 및 구현)

  • The "intelligent internet power outlets" realized in this study use Internet environment to connect electrical and electronic products to the Net as well as to enable remote monitoring and control. They also have temperature and light sensors, and even offer scheduling options by means of a universal calendar run by an inner real-time timer. Furthermore, they control 4 outlets handling 4 external input conditions and infrared remote control with easy-to-use functions for home automation control. The user interface is equipped with an embedded Web server and UDP protocol handler, and which also allows special control programs be used with the Web browser. Thus, installing this real-time power control function with optimal scheduling and various communication functions will provide you with energy-efficient power outlets outfitted with the increasingly popular "standby power" electric power efficiency.

Development of Vending Machine for Electricity Based on Z-Wave Mesh Network (Z-Wave 메쉬 네트워크 기반의 전기 자판기 개발)

  • As the population of camping is increased in campsites and auto camp sites, the electrical equipment can safely supply electricity to users in a variety of electricity bill policy is required in the campsite. In this paper, we develop the vending machine for electricity that can control the outdoor electrical outlet from the management server using the Z-Wave WPAN and android mobile application. The developed vending machine for electricity consists of the management server, the controller, the outdoor outlet box, and the mobile application. The management server provides reservation and electricity bill payment to users. The management server controls the electrical outlet box through the controller to safely supply electricity to users. The controller that is a relay device between the management server and the switch controls switches based on Z-Wave mesh network. Outdoor electrical outlet box has 2 meter switches. We receive the relevant authorization to provide commercial electricity services using the outdoor electrical outlet box in the campsite.

  • This study made an analysis on the relation and influence between outdoor wear benefit, clothing selection criteria and purchasing satisfaction. Survey was conducted targeting 20s-30s males and females who have experience of purchasing outdoor wear and 335 sheets of questionnaire were used for final analysis. And statistics package SPSS16.0 was used for analysis of collected materials. A group seeking the trendy brand turned out to give considerable thought to the brand and trend and purchase less than 100,000won at the discount outlet. A group pursuing functional practicality puts an emphasis on the activity and use, and purchases at the internet shopping mall or department store. Regarding material, function, design, style and color as important, a group pursuing individuality and appearance turned out to purchase clothing at various places such as discount outlet, specialty store and internet. A group that is indifferent to clothing appeared not to care about specific elements when selecting outdoor wear. The result of study showed that consumers of outdoor wear show purchasing satisfaction in respect of design, style, color or trend.

  • In order to drive on road safely, the type of road design and construction is basically needed to optimize driver's safety and vehicle performance. Although the heavy traffic highways were built by reflecting these factors, the national highways and local roads have still taken a lot of problems. In this study, we analyzed the behavior characteristics of a vehicle according to the speed variation of the vehicle using the PC-Crash program for the traffic accidents reconfiguration at GULUN interchange located Hongcheon in Gangwon Province. the conditions outlet surface of the road for analysis were dry road surface, wet road surface and icy road surface. As a result, we identified the fact that the friction coefficient of road surface and the speed of vehicle affected to vehicle behavior characteristics of outlet shape in GULUN interchange, and showed the possibility that we can verify a problem about road design through to this simulation in advance.

  • Unprecedented attention is being given to Smart Grid, Micro Grid and Internet of Things (IoT) in the Republic of Korea recently but such systems' effect is not well experienced by the market since they require additional and costly reforms for the existing household electrical system where adaptive communication platforms are needed. As such platforms, both wireless and wire communication technologies are being considered at the moment. Usually, they include WiFi, Zigbee technologies and the latter, LAN technology. However, communication speed decline due to signal attenuation and interference during wireless communications are considered to be the major problem and the extra works involving time and costs for the LAN system construction can be another demerit. Therefore, in this paper, we have introduced a Power Line Communication-based Smart Outlet System Expandable at Home to complement these disadvantages. Proposed IoT system involves Power Line Communication (PLC) technology which is essential to constructing a Smart Grid.

Return Policies of Retailers in Korea: A Review by Store Format (패션상품의 유통업태별 반품정책 고찰)

  • This study examined return policies of the Korean retailers and their differences by retail format. Return policies of 363 retailers including dept stores, discount stores, brand consignment stores, small shops, outlet stores, TV home shopping companies, and internet shopping malls were collected. Acceptance of refund or/and exchange, return grace period, and return requirements or restrictions of each retailer were analyzed. The results showed that most retail formats except small shops and internet shopping malls allowed refund. The seven day return grace period was most common though large retail chains allowed more generous time frames and small shops allowed shorter dates. Restrictions for return varied by retailers and retail formats. Generally retailers followed the guidelines of consumer protection laws. The study discussed implications of return policy analysis.

Empirical Modeling of Fouling Rate of Milk Pasteurization Process : A case study

  • Fouling in heat exchanger becomes a major problem of dairy industry and it increases the production cost. These are lost productivity, additional energy, additional equipment, chemical, manpower, and environmental impact. Fouling also introduces the risk of food safety due to the improper heating temperature which allow the survival of pathogenic bacteria in milk, introducing biofilm formation of pathogenic bacteria in equipments and spreading the pathogenic bacteria to milk. The aim of this study is to determine the fouling rate during pasteurization process in heat exchanger of pasteurized milk produced by Village Cooperative Society (KUD) "X" in Malang, East Java Indonesia by using empirical modeling. The fouling rate is found as $0.3945^{\circ}C/h$ with the heating process time ranged from 0 to 2 hours and temperature difference (hot water inlet temperature and milk outlet temperature) ranged from 0.654 to $1.636^{\circ}C$. The fouling rate depends on type and characteristics of heat exchangers, time and temperature of process, milk type, age of milk, seasonal variations, the presence of microorganism and more. This results will be used to plan Cleaning In Place (CIP) and to design the control system of pasteurization process in order to maintain the milk outlet temperature as standard of pasteurization.

  • It is thought that the various PRs of public library are the PR within the jurisdiction. outside the jurisdiction, by print media. by audio-video media. by fixture. by event. by media outlet. by campaign, through cyber space. and through associated organization. But the strategy of PR from this study is followed. First. the team for PR should be organized. Second. the librarian for PR should be distributed. Third, the budget for PR should be raised. Forth. the organizations of community should be made the full use of for PR. Fifth, the media outlet of the community should be made the best use of. Sixth. the news letter published by public library should be utilized. Seventh. the internet homepage of public library should be made good use of.

A Study on Clothing Purchasing Behaviors and Design Preference of Summer Clothes using Cooling Textiles (냉감소재를 사용한 여름철 의류의 구매행동과 디자인 선호도 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate purchasing behaviors of summer clothes using cooling textiles and clothing design preference in summer season. The subjects were 623 married women aged from 30s to 60s. The research method was a survey and the measuring instruments consisted of purchasing behaviors of summer clothes using cooling textiles, clothing design preference in summer season, and subjects' demographics attributions. The data were analyzed by frequency analysis, multiple response analysis, cross tabs analysis, and $x^2$ test, using SPSS statistical program. The results were as follows. First, important clothing selection criteria were design, price, and textiles. The main items using cooling textiles that female consumers purchased were T-shirts, pants, and outdoor & sportswear. Main information sources of summer clothes using cooling textiles were internet and store display, and purchasing places were fashion outlet, internet, brand store, and department store. Second, female consumers most preferred comfortable and casual style. They mainly preferred white and blue color, pastel and pale tone, plain pattern, and cotton and functional materials in summer season. Third, there were many important differences among 4 age groups on purchasing behaviors of summer clothes using cooling textiles and design preference in summer season.

Analyzing Service Failure Themes on Online Healthcare Product: Focusing on Online Consumers' Word-of-mouse

  • The emergence of the Internet has provided a new outlet for consumers who experience service failure from products and services, augmenting the traditional options of entry, voice and action. Consumers' negative word of mouth through online (word-of-mouse or eWOM) far exceeds traditional word of mouth (WOM) in respect of its potential effectiveness, speed and spread. This paper tries to figure out the service failure themes in the health care industry by analyzing online word-of-mouse using the critical incidents technique (CIT). Complaint themes in the area of healthcare are identified and analyzed. The results identify that major complaint theme differed according to the site type. Also, the findings indicate that delivery and customer services are critical issues when consumer makes negative WOM.
