  • Electronic commerce has many advantages compared to the traditional way of doing business such as up to date information and rich service for less cost. There is a growing number of electronic commerce applications on the Internet. Using software agent technology, the market framework offers timesaving automation of auctions and flexibility through negotiations among the agents. In this research, we attempt to evaluate the performance of a negotiation decision function that considers the potential competitors in competitive market environment as well as that of a negotiation decision function that does not. For this evaluation, this study adopts the electronic marketplace as an application domain in which many sellers and buyers compete for limited resources in the marketplace.

  • In this study we presented the plans to activate the Internet Shopping Mall for GWmart under its present situation recording a rapid growth in sales and recognized as a local new distribution channel since its early stage, using the analysis that affects the purchases of consumers. On studying the reliance of a shopping mall, only the shopping mall image and the efficiency in providing information are significant. Regarding the concentration on the shopping site by shoppers, what becomes significant are the efficiency in providing information and the convenience in searching for products, which is one of the important factors in increasing sales, does not affect the reliance of a shopping mall and the concentration on the shopping site by shoppers. Therefore, this finding suggests that it is not easy to access the internet shopping mall when consumers go shopping for certain products. Because of this, it is necessary to change the design and structure of internet shopping mall to focus on the consumers. Moreover, this study showed that the efficiency in providing information to customers and the image of the shopping mall do not affect the consumers' intention to purchase, which means that shopping mall lacks in its information service and the management of its structure. To address this, it is required to advance the User Interface and contents of internet shopping mall.

  • With the development of the Internet, electronic commerce, electronic markets, and digital economy, new business paradigm and new ways of business have been emerging and developing. The development of right and robust business models for electronic markets is a key for Internet business success. This parer reviews previous studies and successful cases for business models based on the Internet. This paper presents strategic factors such as the business value and the source of revenue, products and services, business processes and technologies, and the characteristics of electronic markets and relationship with customers and partners as a framework for developing sustainable and robust business models. This paper presents seven propositions for developing successful Internet business models as guidelines for practitioners and theorists.

  • With the advent and proliferation of the Internet, Electronic Commerce(EC) on the Internet has become one of the most rapidly growing area and has been the subject of much research lately. EC is commercial transactions using computers in virtual environment through computer networks. The computer system deals with various ranges of things such as products, services, and information on EC. In this paper we describe the construction methods of web site based on the personalization, Also, we present the personalization technology and architecture of the P-Commerce proposed in this paper. Finally, we describe the methods constructing EC site using P-Commerce solution.

But, several problems that creation of Electronic Catalog and standard absence about application that can say as importance technology base in electronic commerce and market newcomers who is constructing each other dissimilar system and take part in electronic commercial transaction can not use Electronic Catalog information exchange and transaction are happening. So that this treatise can use Electronic Catalog document that user who define Electronic Catalog document structure that can process information of goods configurationally and takes part in transaction is defined in electronic commerce hereupon, integration style Electronic Catalog system design and embody. This system did useful information that can not get from various advantage and catalog document such as business all-in-one and interoperability in different environment that Web Services through interlock with Web Services has so that can get Web Services.

Therefore the transactions at the Internet e-commerce under hold specific gravity and rule in the future with the propection increase the interest concern about the security skill. A study on this paper presentation through the planning method about the analysis on the objective which e-commerce follow the inflection of efficiency strategy and induction the plan on the penetration's revitalization about Internet e-commerce.

  • This study is to understand the concept of CALS and EC which is based on the recent information technology and internet, and to introduce a business situation of Korean model of electronic commerce and WEB-EDI and suggest its development direction for the future. In that, with the development of the telecommunication technology and the proliferation of Internet, electronic commerce and WEB-EDI is expected to be escalated rapidly, the general examples in this study are thought to be greatly helpful to its development. In addition, the information including global trend of electronic commerce and domestic situation of EDI-VAN is provided on the practical basis with figures. The strategy for developing the domestic CALS/EC is suggested as guideline which leads to actively perform the business in these area triggered by government and private entities.

  • The internet is not simply a new technology that businesses are adopting to reduce their costs of operations and increase revenues. This study reports a set of success factors for electronic commerce, specifically some important implications for managers of internet shopping mall area in Korea. In this study it is found that price and security are most critical to increase customer satisfaction. In addition, the result of this study shows that (1) price and security, (2) shopping mall interface and trust and (3) ease of use are very important to increase customer satisfaction. And the result of this study shows that shopping mall awareness are very important to increase customer satisfaction.

  • As electronic commerce service became more popular, information equivalent to currency prevails in network. Accordingly, hacking into network often occurs and thus OTP (One-Time-Password) has emerged as an alternative secondary security system. However, weakness has been found in even existing One-Time Password that used to be considered 'perfect'. Therefore, it becomes very urgent to have an additional security countermeasure. As security recommendation is not considered as solution anymore, more specific plan becomes necessary. The present study proposes PKI coordinates technique-based OTP (One-Time-Pad) for a safe key transmission in E-commerce.

A Study on Consumer Protection Measures and Actual State of Consumer Complaints in E-Commerce (전자상거래 소비자 피해실태와 소비자보호 대책에 관한 연구)

  • The electronic commerce continues to grow dramatically. Also, consumer complaints and damages related to e-commerce grow rapidly. The analysis of consumer complaints showed that consumer of e-commerce tended to buy the various product categories including cloth and home appliance. The damages of delivery problem rapidly rose by 1,185.3%. In categories of transaction including of 'internet shopping mall', 'internet contents' and 'internet auction', about 90% of consumer damages was related to 'internet shopping mall' but consumer damages of 'internet contents' was anticipated to be increased in the near future. The major goods and services of damages was 'digital camera', notebook PC', 'internet game service' etc. Therefore, it is required to establish consumer protection measures to be prevent consumer fraud such as internet shopping mall, Halfplaza.com, and major goods and services of damages. Also, it is need to establish system of spontaneous consumer protection improving consciousness of e-commerce companies.
