A Program Reliability of Internet Environment Using Colored Petri Nets (유색 패트리넷을 이용한 인터넷 환경에서 프로그램 신뢰성)

  • We want to achieve the reliable information system such as e learning system in the internet environments. The difficulty of the program reliability estimation comes from faults that occurred from program and data files are distributed among several servers. This paper is focus on a modeling approach based on Colored Petri Nets to estimate the program reliability in an internet environment. The procedure of analyzing the reliability is as follows. At first, we propose an internet program model. This model is transformed into a Colored Petri net, and the reliability is estimated. We adapt this model to the analyzing the reliability in the internet environment. This method is very simple, and is very helpful to develope program

  • In spite of advantages to using internet, but there are many adverse effects. The most well-known negative effects include internet addiction, personal information infringement, copyright violation, spread of harmful information, cyber bullying, online fraud, hacking and virus distribution, and online prostitution. Until now, the government and public organization strived to prevent and reduce the negative effects but have faced limitations. In accordance with, one of the measures the solve the problems caused by internet is to strengthen the internet ethics education. This study aims to consider and analyze the negative effects of internet and provide measures to promote internet ethics education to prevent and reduce such effects.

  • Due to the development of information communication technology, educational environment has undergone much change and various types of teaching and learning methods based on information communication technology has been suggested. Recently, remote education using the internet are also spreading. However, in current classrooms, students are asked to do an teacher-centered assignment, which they are required to collect and report some information using the internet. This method does not help students use the advantages of learning using the internet, which stimulate students-students interaction and teacher-students interaction.Thus, this study focused on the problem-based learning system based on video communication technology. The researcher designed the problem-based learning system based on video communication technology and applied the system to classes at elementary school. The results were analyzed in terms of students-students interaction and teacher-students interaction in the internet. This research found that the problem-based learning system stimulates teacher and students communication and has positive effects on students' attitude and interest in learning. This research proposes that the traditional teacher-centered teaching method can be supplemented with cyber space learning, which has the merit of problem-based learning model.

  • This paper proposes a novel of a personalized Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) system based on learner's cognitive abilities related to foreign language proficiency. In this CALL system, a strategy of retrieval learning, a method of learning memory cycle, and a method of repeated learning are applied for effective vocabulary memorization. The system is designed to offer personalized learning based on cognitive abilities related to the human language process. For this, the proposed CALL system has a cognitive diagnosis module which can measure five types of cognitive abilities. The results of this diagnosis are used to create dynamic learning scenarios for personalized learning and to evaluate user performance in the learning. This system is also designed in order to have users be able to create learning word lists and to share them simply with various functions based on open APIs. Additionally, through experiments, it has shown that this system helps students to learn English vocabulary effectively and enhances their foreign language skills.

  • Nowadays, the intelligent education system has been studied using the self-directed learning ability. It can connect to the online virtual university and it is based on web technology that can be accessed anywhere anyplace. In order to implement the intelligent tutoring system, the student's weak and strong subjects must be first determined in real time, it proposed level learning capabilities and security algorithms in this paper. Moreover, in this paper, to implement the intelligent education tutoring system it proposed qr code and student level learning simulation.

  • For effective education of children with disability, education in school and home have to be performed consistently. That is, Schools have to inform parents of educational philosophy, management policy, instruction curriculum, school information of students with disability, and guidance methods thus consistent environment for education have to be provided at home. Furthermore, keeping close relation with school, parents have to solve problems occurred at home together. This paper aims to develop in educational information system from which parents could get useful information to guide their children. Our system was developed to be used in wireless internet environment using mobile phone as well as win internet using PC. Therefore, parents of children with disability could instantly get necessary information from it without restriction of time arid space.

  • Arguably the most important internet technology of today is RIA (rich internet application), whose prime advantage is in improving the user experience on the web. However, the scope and variety of the RIA technology demand an eclectic guideline to build the mathematical services such as mathematical text, graphs, and animations. This paper sorts out and simplifies the complicated roadmap of the RIA technologies by presenting three design patterns for exposing the functionality of the CAS (computer algebra system) with the web browser as the user interface platform.

  • Recently, growth of internet causes rapid changes in many areas of statistics such as statistical computation and education. Especially, bootstrap is the most interesting statistical methods applying computer resampling simulation. In this study, we try to present how to use a method of bootstrap on the internet. We also develop to user a statistical system which is programed with java applet for user to handle easily.

  • Internet-based client/server architecture of Contents Delivery System suffers from frequent disconnections and security treats caused by dependency of the server or overload. But, We reached the limit to the increase of the server because a contents quality enhance and Internet user explosively increase. Therefore, a P2P based computing methods are used for sloving these issues. In this paper, We implement and design the Education Content Delivery System for cyber education system using idle Computing Power in P2P computing to share computing resources. We implement not only Internet infrastructure but also satellite infrastructure system, and designed to transfer real-time or non real-time contents.

  • Even if Internet has been used very much, there is no method of music aptitude test for children. We develop the music aptitude test in the internet to make music aptitude test easily. We test children for music aptitude early. We provide children the learning and instruction environment. This research makes children improve the ability of music. We develop the music aptitude test system for children in the WWW for children to use it. This system is expected to be a great help for children to test music aptitude easily. This system establish a well-understood and maintenance through this system for replacing the data files of their children in a effective way.
