아동의 정서조절능력과 부모변인 및 또래에 의한 괴롭힘이 행동문제에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Emotion Regulation, Parent Related Variables and Victimization by Peer Harassment on Behavioral Problems among Children)

  • This study examined emotion regulation, parental support, supervision, psychological control and marital conflict and victimization by peer harassment that affect children’s behavioral problems. The sample consisted of 412 fifth and sixth grade children. Statistics and methods used for the data analysis were percentage, frequency, Cronbach’s alpha, Factor analysis, t-test, Pearson’s correlation, and multiple Regression. Several major results were found from the analysis. First, girls had more internalized behavioral problems than boys. No sex difference was found in externalized behavioral problems. Second, boys’ and girls’ internalized and externalized behavioral problems showed positive correlations with maladaptive emotion regulation and parental psychological control. Boys’ and girls’ internalized behavioral problems and girls’ externalized behavioral problems showed negative correlations with parental support, but positive correlations with parentral marital conflict and victimization by peer harassment. Girls’ internalized and externalized behavioral problems showed negative correlations with parental supervision. Third, maladaptive emotion regulation was the most important variable predicting boys’ and girls’ externalized behavioral problems and girls’ internalized behavioral problems. Victimization by peer harassment was the most important variable predicting boys’ internalized behavioral problems.

장애형제가 있는 청소년이 지각한 부모의 차별적 양육행동과 사회적 지지가 자아존중감 및 내재화 문제에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Parental Differential Treatment and Social Support on the Self-esteem and Internalized Problems among Adolescents with Siblings with Special Needs)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of parental differential treatment and social support perceived by adolescents with siblings with special needs on their self-esteem and internalized problems. The subjects comprised one hundred 12- to 18-year-old adolescents with siblings with special needs. The major results of this study were as follows. First, there were significant differences in adolescents' self-esteem by participation in support programs for siblings of children with special needs. Second, there was no significant effect of parental differential treatment on adolescents' self-esteem. Third, there was a significant effect of social support (family, friends, and teachers) on adolescents' self-esteem. Fourth, there was no effects of paternal differential parenting on adolescents' internalized problems. However, there was a significant effect of differential maternal affection on adolescents' internalized problems. Fifth, there was a significant effect of social support, especially in terms of support provided by friends, on adolescents' internalized problems. In conclusion, social support and differential maternal affection both have an important role in adolescents' self-esteem and internalized problems.

청소년의 부모통제지각과 내·외현문제의 관계 : 자존감의 매개효과 (Associations between Adolescents' Perceived Parental Control and Internalized/Externalized Problems : Self-esteem as a Mediator)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 부모의 심리 및 행동통제와 청소년의 자존감 및 내 외현문제 간에 어떤 상관이 있는지, 그리고 청소년 개인의 자존감이 부모통제와 이들의 내 외현문제 간을 매개하는지 알아보는 것이다. 중학교와 고등학교 1, 2, 3학년 학생을 대상으로 부/모 심리 및 행동통제, 자존감, 그리고 내현 및 외현문제를 측정하였다. 총 355명(남: 171명, 여:184명; 중학생: 170명, 고등학생: 185명)의 자료가 분석되었다. 부모심리통제는 낮을수록, 행동통제는 높을수록 청소년의 자존감이 높고 내 외현문제는 많은 것으로 나타났으며, 자존감이 높을수록 내 외현문제도 많은 것으로 나타났다. 자존감은 부모심리통제와 내현문제 간을 부분매개, 부모행동통제와 내현 및 외현문제 간을 완전매개 하는 것으로 분석되었다. 우리나라의 가족주의 문화나 입시위주의 경쟁적 교육환경이 이러한 결과에 영향을 미쳤을 가능성을 제기하였으며, 바람직한 부모양육행동에 대한 시사점을 논의하였다.

학령기 아동의 스트레스 대처행동과 행동문제간의 관계 (Relationships Between Strategies for Coping with Stress and Behavior Problems in School-age Children)

  • The strategies used by 274 $4^{th}$ and $6^{th}$ graders for coping with stress were assessed by the Daily Hassles Coping Scale(Min & Yoo, 1998), and their behavior problems were assayed by their mothers with the Korean version of Achenbach's Child Behavior Check List(Oh, Lee, Hong, & Ha, 1997). Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, 2-way ANOVA, and hierarchical regressions. Findings were that girls used more passive/avoidant coping strategies than boys; $6^{th}$ graders used more passive/avoidant coping strategies than $4^{th}$ graders; $6^{th}$ grade boys had more internalized behavior problems than $4^{th}$ grade boys; $4^{th}$ grade girls had more internalized behavior problems than $6^{th}$ grade girls; passive/avoidant strategies were positively related to internalized behavior; aggressive strategies were positively related to externalized behavior; strategies of seeking social support were negatively related to both internalized and externalized behavior problems.

대학생들의 사회부과 완벽주의가 대인관계문제에 미치는 영향: 내면화된 수치심을 통한 자기자비의 조절된 매개효과 (The Effect of Socially Prescribed Perfectionism on Interpersonal Problems in University Students: The Moderated Mediating Effect of Self-compassion through Internalized Shame)

  • 본 연구는 대학생의 사회부과 완벽주의와 대인관계문제 간의 관계에서 내면화된 수치심의 매개효과와 자기자비 조절효과를 포함하는 조절된 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 국내 대학생 327명의 설문조사 자료를 수집하였고, SPSS 25.0과 Macro 3.4 프로그램을 활용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 내면화된 수치심은 사회부과 완벽주의와 대인관계문제 간의 관계를 부분매개 하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자기자비는 내면화된 수치심과 대인관계문제 간의 관계를 조절하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 사회부과 완벽주의가 내면화된 수치심을 거쳐 대인관계문제에 미치는 영향을 자기자비가 조절하는 조절된 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의 및 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

어머니의 심리적 환경과 아동행동문제와의 관계에 대한 횡문화적 고찰 (The Relationship between Maternal Psychological Environment and Child Behavioral Problem : A Cross-Cultural Study)

  • The influence of depression, self-esteem, and well-being components of maternal psychological environment on child behavior problems was examined in Korean and American populations. Findings were that the level of mother's self-esteem was lower in Korean than in American mothers; the level of mother's "autonomy" and "environmental mastery" was lower in Korean than in American mothers; and "somatic complaints" were more frequent in the Korean group. The relationship between maternal psychological environment and child behavior problems was greater in the American group. In the Korean group, autonomy and enviornmental mastery were negative components causing both internalized and externalized behavor problems in children. Mothers' depression was the most powerful variable, affecting internalized and externalized behavior problems in both Korean and American groups.

어머니 애착유형과 결혼갈등, 자녀양육행동 및 아동행동문제와의 관계 (Relationships between Maternal Attachment Style, Marital Conflict, Caring Behavior and Child Behavior Problems)

  • This study examined how the attachment styles of married mothers influence their marital conflicts and caring behavior and the behavior problems of their children. Subjects were 60 mothers and their 60 elementary school children. Data were analyzed with correlation, multiple analysis of variance and path analysis. Mothers with unstable attachment styles had more children with behavior problems and they had more serious marital conflicts. Mother's with preoccupied attachment styles experienced more marital conflict than all other styles. Seriousness of marital conflict was related to negative caring behavior and negative caring behavior was related to behavior problems in children. There were direct paths between the attachment style of mothers and both externalized and internalized behavior problems of children in the clinical group.

시설보호 아동의 스트레스 대처행동과 행동문제간의 관계 (The relationships between institutionalized children's stress coping behaviors and behavior problems)

  • The purpose of current study was to investigate the relationships between institutionalized children's stress coping behaviors and behavior problems. The subjects were composed of 80 primary school 4th, 5th, 6th graders(45 boys, 35 girls) and 55 middle school 1th, 2th graders(42 boys, 13 girls) who were institutionalized in jeonju. The major findings were as follows: 1) The institutionalized children's stress coping behaviors were significantly different between the groups based on gender, grade, and period in institution. 2) The institutionalized children's problem behaviors were statistically different between the groups based on gender and period in institution. 3) In regression analysis models, active or passive coping strategies were negatively or positively related to internalized behavior problems respectively. Furthermore period in institution was positively related to externalized behavior problems.

부모의 결혼만족도 변화 유형에 따른 자녀의 문제행동 차이 (Trajectories of Marital Satisfaction of Parent: Relatedness to Behavior Problems of Children)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 자녀 출생 이후 5년 동안의 부모의 결혼만족도 변화 궤적에 기초한 잠재계층이 어떤 형태로 존재하는지 확인하고, 잠재계층에 따라 자녀의 문제행동(만 5세, 만 6세, 초1, 초3 시기)에 차이가 있는지 확인하는 것이다. 이를 위해 한국아동패널의 1차(2008년)~8차(2015년), 10차(2017) 자료를 활용하여 잠재계층성장분석, BCH 방법(BCH method) 분석을 하였다. 분석 결과 첫째, 어머니의 결혼만족도 변화 양상은 '최저수준 유지형 집단', '중간수준 유지형 집단', '일시 증가-지속 감소형 집단', '상수준 유지형 집단', '최상수준 유지형 집단', 아버지의 결혼만족도 변화 양상은 '상승형 집단', '중간 수준-소폭 감소형 집단', '상 수준-소폭 감소형 집단' '최상수준 유지형 집단'으로 구분되었다. 둘째, 어머니의 결혼만족도 잠재계층에 따라 만 5세-만 6세, 초1에서 최저수준 유지형, 중간수준 유지형 집단이 최상수준 유지형 집단보다 내재화 문제행동 수준이 더 높은 경향성이 확인되었으며, 만 5세-만 6세, 초1, 초3에서 대체로 최저수준 유지형, 중간수준 유지형, 일시 증가-지속 감소형 집단이 최상수준 유지형 집단보다 외현화 문제행동 수준이 높은 경향성이 확인되었다. 아버지의 결혼만족도 잠재계층에 따라 만 5세-만 6세, 초1, 초3에서 내재화, 외현화 문제행동에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 대체로 중간 수준-소폭 감소형 집단이 상 수준-소폭 감소형, 최상수준 유지형 집단보다 자녀의 문제행동 수준이 높은 경향성이 확인되었다. 본 연구는 자녀 출생 이후 5년 동안의 부모의 결혼만족도가 자녀의 문제행동(만 5세, 만 6세, 초1, 초3 시기)에 영향을 미치는 중요 변인임을 시사한다.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of marital conflicts perceived by fathers on preschoolers' behavior problems, and to investigate the mediating effect of paternal child rearing behavior. This study used survey data on 4 year-old infants which was conducted in 2012(5th year) by KICCE. Correlation analysis and structural equation were conducted using SPSS 23 and AMOS 23 for the data analysis, and the results of this study are as follows. First, marital conflicts perceived by fathers and preschoolers behavior problems showed a positive correlation, and they especially showed a greater positive correlation with offensive behavior, anxiety/depression, and other problems. On the other hand, it was identified that paternal child rearing behavior has a negative correlation with marital conflict and preschoolers' behavior problems when paternal child rearing behavior is compassionate and dominant. Secondly, it was identified that warm parenting behavior of fathers mediates the effect of marital conflicts on preschoolers' behavior problems. However, it was verified that the mediating effect of controlling parenting behavior is not significant. On the other hand, it was identified that the mediating effect of warm parenting behavior of fathers has a greater effect on internalized problems than external problems.
