의류제품 구매과정에 있어서 내적준거가격의 영향 (Assessing the Impact of Internal Reference Price on Clothing Purchase Process)

  • Price is one of the most important components of marketing mix. For consumers, price is an always-existing cue and definite evaluation criteria. However, information on price is meaningful only when it is perceived. Sources of price perception can be the actual retail price at the selling point, the internal reference price expected by consumers for a certain clothing product, and the external reference price advertised by marketer such as the price before mark-down. The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of internal reference price on consumers' purchasing process of clothing products. A questionnaire including clothing stimuli was developed in order to assess consumers' internal reference price level. Usable data from 680 adult female urban residents were used for data analysis. Results indicated that consumers with relatively lower internal reference price tend to react low-price focused external reference price and use discount stores and unit price promotions. Consumers with relatively higher internal reference price advertisement are likely to have higher level of education, tend to infer price information to higher quality or prestige of products, and purchase clothing with regular retail price or coupons.

  • This study intended to determine how price-ending types used for menu products affected consumers' price evaluation and value perception and such behavioral intentions as purchase intention and search intention. The collected data went through statistical processing, including frequency analysis, factor analysis, T-test and ANOVA using an $SPSS/PC^+$ 12.0 statistical package. The results can be summarized as follows: First, as for differences in internal reference price by ending, internal reference price was lower if menu ending was an odd number than it was an even number, which indicates that consumers tend to consider the price of the menu products to be lower if the ending of menu products is an odd number. Second, menu price-ending was found to have significant differences on consumers' purchase intention, search intention, and value perception. But the results of two-way ANOVA showed that price ending by restaurant types had no effect on consumers' search intention and restaurant type. This study suggested a desirable external reference price-ending type for menu products as one of sales promotion strategies to menu products planners and drew up a concrete plan to determine which price-ending type is useful by consumers' personal properties.

의복구매 의사결정과정의 가격탐색에 따른 가격반응 유형 (Types of Consumer Responses to Price Based on Price Search)

  • Consumer decisions and responses about the price to pay vary. Some consumers might decide the appropriate price range prior to shopping, while others compare and evaluate prices. Especially, consumers can have different reference points for price evaluation based on various price searching behavior that represent heterogeneous responses for prices in the clothing purchase decision-making process. This research identifies how consumers evaluate the price and helps explain their decision-making based on price searches. By analyzing qualitative research, we found that consumers recalled price information as a representative indicator and product level price information through the internal search. Their level of internal references can be an important factor affecting price evaluations. In addition, each consumer groups were subdivided into high and low external searching. The four types of responses to price were classified in the price search process and the identified differences in the price evaluation. Therefore, pricing strategy needs to be differentiated for these various consumer types.

  • This study investigated the difference of reference price, preference and quality perception of high functional underwear according to innovation cues. High functional underwear was selected as a research stimulus due to its technological innovative characteristics. A total of 93 male university students participated as subjects and data were collected by simple random experimental design operationalized with three types of innovation stimulus cues. Two types of internal reference price perception-expected price and fair price, preference, and 9 items of product quality perception-8 functional properties and overall quality of stimulus were measured with a questionnaire. The result supported the difference of reference price and quality perception by product innovation cue. The higher cue level group perceived two types of reference price and the overall quality higher than the lower cue level group. The difference of the expected price and fair price, the influence of functional properties on overall quality, and relations of the variables were discussed in depth.

  • Price is a product attribute, which is determined by the function of the producing cost and profit. It is also identified as one of the most important components of the marketing mix. For consumers, price is an always-existing cue, definite evaluation criteria, and easily accessible information in the purchasing process. Considering the concept of the clothing-price in a comprehensive perspective encompassing economic, psychological and marketing perspectives, a theoretical model was developed. The model includes souses and dimensions of price perception and related behaviors. Souses of price perception were: the actual retail price at selling point, the internal reference price and external reference price. The dimensions of price perception included sacrifice perception, economic value perception, inference, savings perception and price as information perception. Clothing price related behaviors that flowed these dimensions were: low price consciousness, value for money consciousness, price-quality inference, price-prestige inference, sale proneness and price mavenism. An empirical study was conducted to validate the theoretical model. A questionnaire was developed and data were collected from 680 adult women living in Seoul, Korea. Confirmatory factor analysis as well as exploratory factor analysis results showed that theorized price related behaviors were successful classifications.

  • Consumers' price related response in the clothing purchase decision-making process includes their expectation of price, price perception, attitude toward price and consequent behaviors. The purposes of this research are to systematically organize consumers' price related responses in the clothing purchase decision-making process, and to explain the effect of price on their purchasing. The qualitative research including shopping observation and in-depth interview was conducted. The result identified stages that showed different price related responses in clothing purchase decision-making process, and clarified each stage's characteristics. In the internal search stage, consumers recalled price information from memory and had a specific expectation about the price. This set a direction for the external search. In the external search stage, consumers selected brands or stores by a non-compensatory evaluating with an expectation of the price, and narrowed these down to several determinant alternatives by actively evaluating the products. In case a sufficient amount of price information was not recalled, the consumer established reference price through the external search. Finally, in the purchasing stage, consumers evaluated the determinant alternatives based on their compensatory evaluation. When perception of price was negative, consumers evaluate price combined with the higher criteria of clothing benefits, such as symbolic value and usability. The research is expected to contribute to predicting consumers' responses to price, and to establishing an effective pricing strategy.

  • This paper develops and defends the concept of reference-quality in consumer choice, demonstrating its impact on aggregated market demand. The concept of reference-quality refers to an internal standard against which observed qualities are compared in consumer choice behavior. In doing so, we examine and reveal the formation mechanism and the structure of reference-quality in the U.S. wireless phone market. Consequently, we recognize and introduce a brand-specific reference both in price and product quality in aggregated product demand which enable us to measures the responsiveness of market demand to the innovation of a certain brand.

  • This paper have been studied fabrication and characteristics of disposable pH sensor using MEMS technology. The sensor has two open-well structure, the container for the internal electrolyte and electrode were formed by anisotropically etching a silicon substrate. unlike currently used KCI saturated solution, the structure was introduced hydrogel which take an advantage of miniaturization, bulk product, a low price. PU and CA/TP used to measurement ion detection, one is reference membrane and the other is pH. fabricated sensor is encapsulated entirely with epoxy, finally sensor was estimated various ion sorts and pH ranges.

저가형 마이크로 콘트롤러를 이용한 Flyback 컨버터의 원격제어 (The Remote Control of a Flyback Converter using an Inexpensive Microcontroller)

  • 기존의 아날로그 제어방식과는 달리 디지털 제어 방식은 기본적으로 마이크로프로세서를 포함하고 있기 때문에 아날로그 제어방식에서는 할 수 없었던 DC-DC 컨버터 내부 파라미터에 대한 모니터링이 가능하며, 아날로그 제어방식에서는 처음의 사양에 의해 고정된 출력전압을 얻었지만 디지털 제어 방식에서는 PC와 DC-DC 컨버터의 통신을 통하여 사용자가 원하는 임의의 전압을 얻어낼 수 있고 원격제어가 가능하다. 또한 PC와의 통신을 통해 원거리에 있는 DC-DC 컨버터에 정확한 전압이 출력되고 있는지 또는 비정상적인 전압이 출력되고 있는지를 감시, 진단할 수 있다는 장점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 디지털 제어기의 장점과 함께 디지털 제어기의 저가격화에 대한 실용성을 제시하고자 하였다. 이러한 기능들을 구현하기 위해 AD 컨버터와 PWM 로직이 내장되어 있는 저가의 정수형 On-chip 마이크로 콘트롤러인 Renesas사의 H8/3672를 사용하였다. 디지털 제어기는 Flyback 컨버터에 적용되었으며, DC 20∼30V 입력으로부터 기본 DC 5V 출력전압을 갖도록 설계되었고, 또한 에뮬레이터를 이용하여 PC상에서 원격으로 DC 0V에서 DC 5V이상까지의 다양한 출력 전압을 만들 수 있다. PWM의 듀티(Duty) 제어를 위한 제어기로써는 PID제어기 중에서 PD제어기를 사용하였다. 본 논문에서 설계된 디지털 제어방식 컨버터의 실용성을 검토하기 위해 과도상태의 특성과 정상 상태의 특성을 분석하여 정수형의 저가형 마이크로 콘트롤러를 이용한 Flyback 컨버터의 실용성을 검토하였다.

시장분석 및 영업관리 역량 강화를 위한 통신사의 GIS 적용 사례 (GIS-based Market Analysis and Sales Management System : The Case of a Telecommunication Company)

  • 시설물이나 토지, 도로, 방재 등 다방면에서 GIS의 효과성이 입증됨에 따라 최근 들어 상권이나 고객, 영업 관리 등에 GIS를 도입하여 시장분석 및 영업관리 역량을 강화하려는 민간 기업들이 증가하고 있다. 본 사례 연구에서는 날로 치열해지고 있는 통신시장의 경쟁환경 속에서 K사가 정교한 상권 및 고객 분석 역량을 확보하기 위해 GIS 영업정보 시스템을 구축 한 전 과정과 영업현장에서의 시스템 활용방안 등을 살펴보았다. 전사적으로 시스템을 오픈한 후 지사들로부터의 반응은 담당 관할구역에 대한 경쟁상황 파악 및 일/월 추세조회가 용이해 졌고, 왜곡되지 않은 실제 데이터를 제공받아 제한된 시간 내에 정확한 타겟 고객 선정이 가능해졌으며, 동별 시설분포와 같은 시설물 관련정보를 영업활동에 활용할 수 있어 매우 효과적이었다는 등이 주를 이루었다. 이와 같은 과정과 결과를 정리함으로써 향후 GIS 영업정보시스템 구축을 고려하고 있는 타 조직이나 기업들에게 의미 있는 가이드라인을 제시할 수 있기를 기대한다.
