Individual internal monitoring program by in-vivo measurement technique at the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute includes the capability for the assessment of uranium and americium lung burdens. This capability is an important part of the health and safety program. This article addresses the lung burden assessment portion of our in vivo measurement capabilities.

This paper presents multiplexing structures to provide various subscriber interfaces in an ATM switching system with a high speed internal link, and analyzes the schemes in terms of a mean cell delay and a buffer sin. And we proposed a buffer management strategy to minimize a cell loss and accommodate new ATM transfer capabilities.

This study tries to investigate the factors influenced on the performance by top management team's(TMT's) international entrepreneurship(IE) and firm's capabilities(marketing capability and R&D capability) of Korean Ventures. The research model and hypothesis set that TMT's IE directly affect to the performance directly affects and TMT's IE indirectly affect to the performance through the capabilities(marketing capability and R&D capability) by research prior studies. To verify research model, 115 high-technology based Korean ventures survey to be as samples by structured questionnaires and the data is tested by SEM(structural equation modeling) analysis. The results of analysis are as follow. First, there was no relationship between TMT's IE and performance. Second, the IE positively affected to firm's capabilities(marketing capability and R&D capability). Third, firm's internal capabilities positively affected to performance. These results only few TMT's IE cannot sufficiently affect to performance but IE should be propagated to marketing and R&D departments and then firm's performance can improved. This study respect to provide a meaningful implication to globalization and performance of Korean Ventures.

Due to the recent and rapid globalization, logistics outsourcing has expanded globally and is seen as a means of creating a robust logistics system. However, many businesses continue to have difficulties with their logistics outsourcing contracts, which compels them to reinstate the logistics function for internal management. This study aims to investigate how organizational capabilities of logistics service providers (LSPs), notably flexibility, integration, innovation, and technological capabilities, impact on the logistics outsourcing success in Ugandan food processing firms. Using a structured questionnaire survey, cross-sectional data collected from 211 food processing firms in Kampala - Uganda were analyzed by partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) using SmartPLS 3.3.7 software to examine the theorized relationships. The study findings revealed that whereas the technological and innovation capabilities positively and significantly influence logistics outsourcing success, the effects of flexibility and integration capabilities were insignificant. Additionally, the importance-performance map analysis (IPMA) reveals that the technological capability is a priority capability, followed by the innovation capability if logistics outsourcing success is to be achieved. Conversely, flexibility and integration capabilities are of low priority.

The present study is a review to determine by what bodies and through what mechanisms the information resources management is implemented and administered, that is its content and how it is linked to industrial information units in the field of industrial firms. Industrial information units are lacking essential capabilities required to acquire internal information and to organize sharing information which is intergrated to internal and external information. Various units within firms work to implement the information resources management. These units include management information systems, information center, and newly developed mission oriented units. They have, however, developed without liasison industrial information units. They may be some unnecessary duplication in some spheres and inadequate facilities in others.

One of the most popular internal combustion engines is the engine in the transportation device. Power is a parameter that shows the capabilities of an object that gives energy, for example the internal combustion engine. Power in this engine is measured by a device called dynamometer. The CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamic) fluent software was simulated several impeller variables to absorb power of engine. With that result, we knew the biggest dynamometer absorber power, cheapest and easy to be made. The hydraulic dynamometer is selected type of dynamometer as the result of design process. The basic principle of a hydraulic dynamometer is the same as centrifugal pump but it has low pump efficiency. The results of the test are maximum power and torque of the tested engine and the operation area of the selected hydraulic dynamometer.

This study analyzes the key drivers (commitment, integration of big data, green supply chain management, and green human resource practices) of sustainable capabilities and the influence to which these sustainable capabilities impact the banks' environmental and financial performance. Additionally, this study analyzes the impact of green management practices on the integration of big data technology with operations. The theory of dynamic capability was deployed to propose and empirically test the conceptual model. Data was collected through a self-administrated survey questionnaire from 319 participants employed at 35 banks located in six ASEAN countries. The findings indicate that big data analytics strategies have an impact on internal processes and banks' sustainable and financial performance. This study indicates that banks committed towards proper data monitoring of its clients achieve operational efficiency and sustainability goals. Moreover, our results confirm that banks practising green innovation strategies experience better environmental and economic performance as the employees of these banks have received advance green human resource training. Finally, our study found that internal and external green supply chain management practices have a positive impact on banks' environmental and financial performance, which confirms that ASEAN banks contributing in reduction of environmental impact through its operations will ultimately experience increased financial performance.

Medical silicone tubes are generally used as implants for the treatment of nasolacrimal duct stenosis. However, side effects such as allergic reactions and bacterial infections have been reported following the silicone tube insertion, which cause surgical failure. These drawbacks can be overcome by modifying the silicone tube surface using a functional coating. Here, we report a biocompatible and superhydrophilic surface coating based on a polysaccharide multilayer nanofilm, which can load and release antibacterial and anti-inflammatory agents. The nanofilm is composed of carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) and chitosan (CHI), and fabricated by layer-by-layer (LbL) assembly. The LbL-assembled CMC/CHI multilayer films exhibited superhydrophilic properties, owing to the rough and porous structure obtained by a crosslinking process. The surface coated with the superhydrophilic CMC/CHI multilayer film initially exhibited antibacterial activity by preventing the adhesion of bacteria, followed by further enhanced antibacterial effects upon releasing the loaded antibacterial agent. In addition, inflammatory cytokine assays demonstrated the ability of the coating to deliver anti-inflammatory agents. The versatile nanocoating endows the surface with anti-adhesion and drug-delivery capabilities, with potential applications in the biomedical field. Therefore, we attempted to coat the nanofilm on the surface of an ophthalmic silicone tube to produce a multifunctional tube suitable for patient-specific treatment.

In the current rapidly changing environment, each country continues to make efforts to create jobs and strengthen technological competitiveness. In particular, support and revitalization policies for venture companies and start-ups are known to play a role in increasing national competitiveness. Companies should make appropriate replacements amid growing uncertainties in the environment in which business life is shortened and customer needs are diversified due to intensifying competition. First of all, it is important for companies to make efforts to strengthen their internal capabilities on their own. However, venture companies lack internal resources and capabilities, so support from the external environment is important enough to lead to the survival of the company(Timmons, 1994). Financial support and certification systems are being operated at the national level to strengthen the competitiveness of companies. However, financial support can lower a company's self-sustainability depending on the situation, so non-financial support such as R&D support and start-up education is considered to be helpful in the long term for venture growth(Aghion et al., 2012; Jeon & Ko, 2021). Non-financial support is divided into commercialization, facilities, space, childcare, manpower, and certification systems, and this study confirmed the benefits of the venture company confirmation system, which is a certification system. To this end, the 2021 venture company precision survey data and venture company sales data were used, and analyzed using the SPSS 26.0 package and SPSS PROCESS MACRO. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that the level of the management environment of venture companies has a positive effect on the benefits of the venture confirmation system or increasing the level of venture company capabilities, but it is difficult to lead to actual management performance. In addition, it was confirmed that the level of venture company competency mediates the relationship between the level of the venture company's business environment and management performance. As a result, even if the level of the venture company's business environment is positive or venture-friendly, it can be said that companies with internal capabilities to digest support from the external environment increase management performance.

It is well known that PMO (Project Management Office)s are effective for successful project performance. Since it takes a long time to develop PMO capability, many public organizations and companies that do not have internal PMOs are increasingly relying on outsourcing of PMO functions in order to introduce mature PMO capabilities in a short period of time. However, it is not verified yet whether outsourced PMO is more effective than internal PMO or not. The objective of this study is to verify the effectiveness of PMO outsourcing. There are many different definitions about PMO function, and even the same PMO function may have different effectiveness depending on the Industry. Thus, this study redefined the PMO functions and Project Performance based on the past studies, and conducted research by focusing on the ICT (Information and Communication Technology) industry. The ICT industry is an important industry economically and has been attracting global attention recently. This study is the first attempt to prove the effectiveness of outsourcing of PMO function in Korea. We found that PMO function outsourcing is effective for certain aspects of project performance, particularly technical support and infrastructure management. Overall, PMO outsourcing is usually more effective than internal PMO for improving project performance. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of PMO theories and practices.
