  • 최근 가전기기의 고집적화와 고효율을 위한 연구가 이슈화 되고 있다. 이러한 고효율과 고집적화의 효과를 얻기 위한 방법으로 Multiphase LLC 공진 컨버터가 연구되고 있으며 본 논문에서는 제어회로를 간단화 하면서 Two Phase Interleaved LLC 공진 컨버터를 제안하였고 총 250W급 변압기를 적용하여 실험한 결과에 대하여 서술 하였다.

  • 위상이 반대인 두 컨버터를 병렬로 사용하는 인터리브 DC/DC 컨버터는 고밀도, 고직접화가 가능하며 전류 잡음이 적다는 장점이 있지만 시비율이 50% 가 아닐 때에는 전류 리플이 존재하게 된다는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이런 단점을 보완하기 위해 50% 시비율로 동작하는 인터리브 DC/DC 컨버터와 인터리브 PFC를 결합하여 단점을 개선한 저잡음 인터리브 DC/DC 컨버터를 제안하였다. 인터리브 DC/DC 컨버터는 반대 위상의 50% 시비율로만 스위칭되어 이상적으로 전류 리플이 상쇄되게 된다. 인터리브 PFC는 인터리브 DC/DC 컨버터의 출력 전압을 피드백 받아 입력 전압을 변화시켜 항상 DC/DC 컨버터의 출력전압이 일정하도록 유지한다. 실험을 통하여 이를 입증하고 그 결과를 보인다.

  • This paper presents a new hybrid control method of asymmetrical half-bridge converter(AHBC) with low voltage stresses of the diodes and interleaved PFC(power factor correction). The proposed new control scheme can observe variation of secondary diodes voltage stresses by variation of duty ratio and then decide the control portions which are asymmetrical control and PFM(Pulse Frequency Modulation). Therefore, the proposed control scheme has many advantages such as a low rated voltage of the secondary diodes, low conduction loss according to the low voltage drop and wide zvs range by load variation. Through simulation results, the validity of the proposed control scheme is demonstrated.

  • In this paper, a simple digital control scheme for the single/parallel module buck converters is proposed using a digital state feedback control method. The discrete state feedback controller structure for the robust tracking control is derived by using the error state. The proposed control system can precisely achieve the interleaved current sharing and the output regulation, and can achieve the systematical controller design for a given converter specification using the pole placement technique. For a design example, the single module buck converter is simulated using the MATLAB Simulink software and two 100W parallel module buck converters with a TMS320F2812 DSP is implemented.

  • A novel, two-inductor, interleaved power-factor-corrected (PFC) boost converter that exhibits voltage-doubler characteristic when it operates with a duty cycle greater than 0.5 is introduced. The voltage-doubler characteristic of the proposed converter makes it quite suitable for universal-line (90~265VRMS) PFC applications. Because the proposed PFC boost rectifier operates as a voltage doubler at low line, its low-line range efficiency is greatly improved compared to that of its conventional counterpart. The performance of the proposed PFC rectifier was evaluated on an experimental 300W PFC prototype.

  • This paper proposes a new switching algorithm for an controllable clamp snubber to improve the efficiency of a fly-back converter system. This system uses an controllable clamp method for the snubber circuit for the efficiency and reliability of the system. However, the active clamp snubber circuit has the disadvantage that system efficiency is decreased by switch operating time because of heat loss in resonance between the snubber capacitor and leakage inductance. To address this, this paper proposes a new switching algorithm. The proposed algorithm is a technique to reduce power consumption by reducing the resonance of the snubber switch operation time. Also, the snubber switch is operated at zero voltage switching by turning on the snubber switch before main switch turn-off. Experimental results are presented to show the validity of the proposed controllable clamp control algorithm.

  • 본 논문에서는 고효율, 저가격의 400W급 태양광 Module Integrated Converter (MIC)를 소개한다. 제안하는 MIC는 Interleaved flyback 토폴로지를 기반으로, 계통 주기 내에서 DCM과 CCM의 모든 동작 영역을 활용할 수 있게 설계되어 도통 손실 및 전력 용량을 개선한다. 또한 새로운 출력 제어 전류 알고리즘을 통해 기존의 Flyback의 CCM 영역에서의 제어문제를 해결하여 개발된 Flyback MIC의 실효성을 획득한다. 최종적으로 400W급 시제품을 제작하여 타당성 검증 및 결과를 제시한다.

  • This paper is about the suggestion for the development in the commercialization for 3.6kW Class On-Board charger. It is suggesting non-insulation AC-DC Boost Power Factor correction circuit and insulation DC-DC resonant Converter for circuit design. In addition, Input AC voltage in the power supply is DCM control which can be designed to decrease the inductance for the inductor size to be reduced. DCM controls and Interleaved PFC can be designed to decrease the inductor size increasing the power conversions. Also, using the insulation DC-DC resonant converter, the efficiency can be increased. This system is verified using prototype hardware.

  • The superiority of gallium nitride FET (GaN FET) over silicon MOSFET is examined in this paper. One of the outstanding features of GaN FET is low reverse-recovery charge, which enables continuous conduction mode operation of totem-pole bridgeless boost power factor correction (PFC) circuit. Among many bridgeless topologies, totem-pole bridgeless shows high efficiency and low conducted electromagnetic interference performance, with low cost and simple control scheme. The operation principle, control scheme, and circuit implementation of the proposed topology are provided. The converter is driven in two-module interleaved topology to operate at a power level of 5.5 kW, whereas phase-shedding control is adopted for light load efficiency improvement. Negative bias circuit is used in gate drivers to avoid the shoot-through induced by high speed switching. The superiority of GaN FET is verified by constructing a 5.5 kW prototype of two-module interleaved totem-pole bridgeless boost PFC converter. The experiment results show the highest efficiency of 98.7% at 1.6 kW load and an efficiency of 97.7% at the rated load.

Buck-Boost Interleaved Inverter Configuration for Multiple-Load Induction Cooking Application

  • Induction cooking application with multiple loads need high power inverters and appropriate control techniques. This paper proposes an inverter configuration with buck-boost converter for multiple load induction cooking application with independent control of each load. It uses one half-bridge for each load. For a given dc supply of $V_{DC}$, one more $V_{DC}$ is derived using buck-boost converter giving $2V_{DC}$ as the input to each half-bridge inverter. Series resonant loads are connected between the centre point of $2V_{DC}$ and each half-bridge. The output voltage across each load is like that of a full-bridge inverter. In the proposed configuration, half of the output power is supplied to each load directly from the source and remaining half of the output power is supplied to each load through buck-boost converter. With buck-boost converter, each half-bridge inverter output power is increased to a full-bridge inverter output power level. Each half-bridge is operated with constant and same switching frequency with asymmetrical duty cycle (ADC) control technique. By ADC, output power of each load is independently controlled. This configuration also offers reduced component count. The proposed inverter configuration is simulated and experimentally verified with two loads. Simulation and experimental results are in good agreement. This configuration can be extended to multiple loads.
