The purpose of this study was to provide basic data for better design of Pharmacy after introducing the new system of separation of dispensing from prescribing medicine. To analyze characteristics of interior design in pharmacy and to measure worker satisfaction, a survey was conducted with 255 workers who serve at any Pharmacies located in Busan, Korea. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test, One-way ANOV A were performed with the SPSS Win program(Ver. 10.0). The major findings were as follows: 1) As a result of analyzing the role and functions of the pharmacist is to be classified into many items such as entrance, a waiting room, a dispensary, a medication & consultation area, a drug storage and a worker's room. 2) Natural substances should be used more widely instead of using chemical substances for the pharmacy interior design as finishing materials 3) Pharmacy worker's satisfaction with dispensary is specially low among the total satisfaction which is :slightly higher than the average. 4) The degree of satisfaction between pharmacy workers from different groups varied depending on work hours, and especially long time(over 10hrs) workers showed dissatisfaction. Pharmacy managers need to consider the option of expanding convenience facilities. 5) According to the satisfaction analysis for each pharmacy conditions, the group who worked in 30-pyeong spaces were most satisfied. Since the 30-pyeong space is most standardized space research should be conducted.

This study develops and applies a service learning course that integrates university curriculum with the local community in housing and interior design. The results of the study are as follows. First, the service learning course of the housing and interior design was developed as a six-week lecture based on the project model with the theme of housing for the socially disadvantaged. Second, this course was implemented with faculty, students, interior designers, and service recipients to engage in activities to improve the educational environment of local child centers. Next, students engaged in the service learning course and continuously conducted reflection activities to enhance the effectiveness of learning. In reflection activities, students assessed that self-directed capabilities increased as has employing the coordination and applicability to meet identified community needs. Finally, faculty, students, and experts (including institutional experts and supervising departments) evaluated course practice and educational outcomes. Experts assessed that the course clarified course objectives, utilized various learning strategies, and showed that the structural reflection mode of learners and professors was overwhelmingly positive. The results indicated that service-learning courses enable students to integrate academic study with social work to better understand course content through direct engagements in experience learning. Furthermore, students are empowered by participation in public services that benefit service clients and consultants as students take more personal responsibility for learning.

This study intents to provide useful information of effective office works by evaluating existing office work environment. It focuses on evaluating the quality of personal and common work spaces, comparing responses for user groups to their work environment, and identifying factors which affect the satisfaction of work environment . The study is based on the survey which has been answered by 193 respondents from 24 companies (mainly from large corporate companies) in Seoul. This study finds out that noise is the most serious problem in common work space and that environmental comfort and the size of common space are not satisfactory in their effective work. It identifies that open space work environment, which has been expansively provided for a long time, causes noise problem and deprives office workers of privacy and personalization opportunities. The respondents reply that meeting spaces are not enough in number and size and lack of privacy and its adequate quality . They respond that privacy , chair comfortness and storage spaces are important factors for personal work spaces. In order to improve the quality and efficiency of work, this study proposes that companies should provide convenient office facilities which considering human ergonomic and should educate professional facility managers.

Interior design is an inerdisciplinary field that is in the early stages of theory development, it is necessary to build theoretical frame work for the research. The purpose of this study is to present interior design and guidelines in a three generation family apartment for the elderly, and to develop a theoretical framework on the basis of the human ecosystem approach for analysis of relations between elderly and environment. Analysis and investigations are done by literature review about residential environmental characteristics of the elderly based on the findings of the conceptual analysis. Environmenta elements of interor design related to elderly in a three generation family apartment are as follow ; First, Natural environmental element is orientation, site, temperature, local weather. Second, human behavioral element is privacy , interior design requirement based on physical and psychological effect, housing policy, behavior. Third, Human constructed environmental element is size of apartment space, interior design component, human dimension, aesthetic condition.

With the ever-increasing important of high-speed information in society as we move towards the 21 st century. Recently, the definition of work space contains so many meanings. Basically, this means space where handling various information and developing numerous creative activities. Moreover, the work space is important not only for individual itself but also organizational development. This research is studied for suggesting revitalization of advanced work efficiency, deriving motivation as well as creative operation support for harmonious communication. In order to make the better creative work places, "concentration and motivating interests between members of organization", "Necessity of environment for development and operational progress of work", "improvement and creativity of work and importance of the physical environment" and "harmonious communication and development of advanced community" should be considered. This research arranged based on ALCEMIS model and used actual examples on each step for better understanding of creative work spaces. Especially creative jobs need this kind of spaces for better communication and cooperation.

Analysis of trend by various information is systematically approached by strategy differentiating in Interior Design. At the present, trend is approached by intuitive viewpoint without systematic strategy and analysis system about interior coordination activity. And, it is not still established specific systematic architecture of the interior coordination by logical and academical approach. This Study set the goal at overall understanding about the Trend that shifting fast and offering objective data. Therefore, I approached the semiology-oriented process as the most suitable academical system on analysis of interior coordination trend. Object target of analysis was investigated to three domestic and overseas exhibitions announced from 2007 to 2008. These analysis was based on the context and text from the life style and the major determinant theme of the age of each exhibition. Also, it was arranged color, material and texture by the related expression system with topics and theme keywords. And it'll be considered as utilizing the code of specific application in interior coordination which is from the investigating about exhibition. Therefore, this study will be expected to help in meaning transmission and methodology establishment by more beneficial objective system, when designer work the interior coordination practically through the establishment of systematic viewpoint about interior coordination.

The purpose of the study was to investigate defect cases in residential interior design, to identify the state of defects, and to categorize types of defect and disputes. In addition, consumer appraisal to residential interior design service were analyzed. The results of this study could provide fundamental information regarding the defects and claims in residential interior design. First, we did literature review for defect disputes in architectural design and interior design. We identify the definition of defects by building life cycle, by state of construction, by activity, and by design performance. Second, we analysed interior design defects cases reported in Korea Consumer Agency & Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. A total of 49 cases of defect disputes in residential interior design from 2000 to 2015 were investigated. As a result, many defects appeared during the construction stage. A majority of defects cases fall into insulation, water-proofing/leakage work. In terms of design aspects claim, functional and aesthetic defects were claimed. Third, from Consumer Market Evaluation Indicators, raw data from 500 respondents were investigated for the housing repair and interior design. It is found that information comparability, responsiveness to consumer claim, price, and safety are important factors for consumer satisfaction in interior design.

This study aims for the research of the local circulation in a kitchen to minimize the kitchen work load and to produce a more efficient kitchen system. This study analized the real behavior and circulation in the kitchen area and this focused on the kitchen of the working women in a dual-income family. Through the analisis, this study raised an idea that the work in the kitchen area is not in sequence, but random while the tradition idea of the kitchen system is arranged by cooking programe. Therefore, this became a reason to increase the kitchen work load ratter than the layout of the kitchen system, the cooking style and menu affected on the more kitchen load. To reduce the kitchen work load, the designeer should shorten the circulation in the kitchen area. And this is possible through the decrease distance between the sink and a kiting zone and through the wide kitchen table which is between the sink and a kiting zone.

In general, the definition of criticism is making a constructive analysis between good & evil, right & wrong, and beauty & ugliness. Just as the literature, art, music, and architecture welcomes productive criticism in order for further advancement in each professional field, constructive criticism in the field of interior architecture must be activated stance it would be as useful as in other fields to upgrade the level of design quality If the constructive criticism were to be taken properly in the benefit of further advancement in particular design, then the criticism must hale a proper criteria in order to examine and review the design work objectively However, as the design symbolizes cultural interpretation and reaction towards better creativity, we expect design to be mutated in many different directions. As the limit of Interior architecture shares limitless possibilities in today's society, it seems that we need to set up a guidelines of design criticism in order to support the further development of the area of interior architecture.
