국내 친환경 실내 마감재 및 제품의 전문잡지 광고지면 내용분석 연구 (Content Analysis of advertised Eco-interior Materials and Products in Domestic Interior Magazines)

  • The purpose of this study is to figure out the profiles of eco-friendly finishing materials and intoner products through content analysis on the advertisements of three domestic interior design magazines, which have been published for 4 years since 2002. The amount of advertisements has been continuously increasing due to the public concerns on well-being. Finishing material types absolutely took the greatest proportion (92.8%), while products such as furniture and household equipments were only 7.2% among the advertisements. Charcoal, natural jade, yellow soil and nano-silver were the frequently mentioned health-related components in the finishing material. Only 35.7% of the finishing materials hold certification on indoor air quality. Among the interior products, phytonchid in air cleaner was the only advertised component related to health. In conclusion, controlling pollutants of indoor air quality, such as HCHO, VOC, seems to be the big issue in both materials and products due to the concern of Sick Building Syndrome. However, more scientific and objective guidelines are necessary for consumers to live in healthy interior environment.

  • Design trend, transparency, which has been developed under a reflection of current periodic environment, has been exposed to people all over the world through varieties of architecture facade and interior space. As interior space follows this trend, which has difference in showing space from the past, transparency becomes an important measure of showing openness of certain space. Main objective of this research is to understand a characteristics of materials that leads transparency a important measure to the modern interior design, and this will set the range to this applicable materials for appropriate areas of defining transparency in an interior. Characteristic uses of transparent materials found in this research which leads transparency into interior space are described below: First, there are two perspectives in transparency. One is visibility and material wised transparency and the other is conditional and spacial wised transparency. With this knowledge, we can expand a level of transparency with ideas such as clarity, opacity, visible transmission, and reflection, and this broadened range will vary the acceptable materials used to show transparency. Second, transparent materials are used with many different purposes in modern interior space as furnitures, sanitary fixtures, partitions, and other structures. With using modern technology in reforming this materials brought new methods in structure composing. last, transparent materials' expnt pable characteristics made modern interior space to have a control over spacial homogeneity, a simplified octlines, weakened boundaries, and compositional effects by interference and vision.

AHP 분석법을 활용한 친환경 실내마감재의 소비자 가치 분석 (Analysis on Consumers' Value about Environmentally-Friendly Interior Finishing Material by Analytic Hierarchy Process)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the Consumers' value about Environmentally-Friendly Interior Finishing Material and to provide essential data for the development of realistic environmentally-friendly material also in compliance with the requirement of consumer. The questionnaire inquiry used of Analytic Hierarchy Process was carried out for both designers and common housewives to characterize the main demanding stratums for interior finishing goods in October, 2004. The results were summarized as follows; The interior finishing materials regarded as important in residential space were by the order of Wood Floor for Ondol, Wall Paper, Emulsion Paint; Environmentally-Friendly Wall Paper appeared its value of 1.56 times than Ordinary Wall Paper, in the same case of Emulsion Paint is at 1.63 times, Wood Floor at 2.12 times, respectively. Besides, as the result of correlation and regression analysis, they preferred to environmentally-friendly property by the nearer women, the nearer larger incomes, the nearer highly educated, and the nearer non-experts (housewives).

  • Because effect about environmental effect that get to human visually is absolute, ability that mural of subway interior considers relation with space is required. Also, public environment element should be designed must intend agreeableness sex by same traitor effect of quality of the material and color and can be evaluated by cultural inheritance that is powerful enemy same time. Wish to accomplish access as meaning of city environment improvement of wall of subway station or underground space etc. through Japan course South Korea's illustration regarding environment landscaping features that is designed in wall of latest domestic building subway interior in this research. Various and new reading by that study and analyze manufactured wall environment landscaping features recently that could find and was approached in variouser technique, practical use of material than single material and is expressed according to history's special quality and planning know can. Underground space can give agreeableness feel and psychological sense of security by user though expression method, material, color plan etc. consist because is having image blockade enemy. Therefore, wall environment landscaping features of underground space to be cultural value and environment Dija because diversified research that is accompanied in element is gone subway interior space of our country and underground space etc. as new culture space develop be able to must.

병원의 실내환경 특성에 관한 연구 - 부산지역 내과병원을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Interior Characteristics of Healthcare Environment - Focused on the Internal Medicine in Busan -)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the current interior conditions of internal medicines and the patients'responses to them. Data were collected through questionnaire survey including observations and interviews. The sample consisted of 43 internal medicines in Busan. The data were analyzed by using SPSS-PC. The major findings were as follows: (1) Most of the medicines had a size of 20-50 pyung(66-165$m^2$). The preferred size of internal medicine was 30-70 Pyung. (2) The typical layout of reception room, doctor's room, and injection room was L shape. (3) The most preferred room was waiting room and the worst one was injection room. (4) Painting and tile were mostly used as interior finishing materials. The patients preferred wall papers as wall and ceiling material, and marbles as floor material. Also, the most preferred interior images were modern, western, urban, open, simple, warm and popular images.

  • This study aimed to evaluate how universal design principles are embodied in the Public Service Center. It will be used for planning the basic materials of the interior environmental design for Public Service Center facilities and for developing ways to improve interior environments in order for them to be conveniently used. In studying a method, we conducted an Universal Design check list to evaluate interior environment, targeting five Public Service Center facilities located in Gwangju Metropolitan city. This study investigated the Universal Design suitability of center interior Public Service Center on the basis of the tools for Universal Design check list which was composed of supportive design, adaptable design, communicability, safety-oriented design, and accessible design. Through theoretically considering the services of Gwangju's old city hall public service center, which got divided into common space, public service space, waiting space and informative material space. Evaluation on universal design application level showed that those with best universal design application are supportiveness and safety in public service space, communication efficacy and safety in waiting space and safety and accessibility in informative material space and acceptability in waiting space had the lowest application level.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the searching method and application of intoner design trend of interior designer. The questionnaire survey were used. The subjects of questionnaire survey were 50 interior designers in 6 interior design firms. Frequency, percentage, and cross-tab were used for data analysis. The major results were as follows. 1) Interior designers thought that consumers visiting at apartment model house were concerned about interior design trend and aware of interior design reflected trend. So interior designer gave expression to interior design trend. And they needed information about interior design trend and consumer's interior design preference. 2) Interior designers found interior design trend or consumer's preference from some exhibition or fair, journal, and internet materials. 3) Interior design trend was mainly expressed in living room design. And Interior designers utilized finishing material and color in expression of interior design trend.

친환경 실내 디자인 소재 개발 활용 방안 (Application of the Eco-friendly Materials for the Interior Design)

  • 본 논문에서는 실내디자인의 친환경 소재로 응용할 수 있는 한지, 옻, 숯을 이용하여 전자파 차폐 물질을 제안하였고 이를 통해 실내 공간의 전자파 차폐 및 심미성 증대를 위한 이미지월 디자인의 예를 제시하였다. 제안된 전자파 차폐 물질은 한지 위에 옻과 숯을 도포하여 두께 2.0 mm의 시료로 제작되었고, 직류 전원에서 2 GHz의 교류에 대해 95% (13 dB 이상) 이상의 전자파 차폐 특성을 보였다. 이러한 친환경 소재의 전자파 차폐 물질을 벽지나 아미지월에 적용하여 실내 디자인에 활용함으로서 실내 공간에서 발생되는 인체의 유해 전자파를 효과적으로 차폐할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 친환경 소재를 통해 포름알데히드, 휘발성 유기화합물 등과 같은 각종 유해 화학물질로부터의 피해를 최소한으로 줄일 수 있게 될 것이다.

실내공간에 사용되는 재활용 신재료의 소재 및 가공방법 연구 (A Study on the Base Material Specific and Processing Methods of Recycled New Materials in Space)

  • Nowadays the issue of environmental pollution and ecological destruction is not a simple issue but an important issue to be continuously considered. It is deemed that a study for recycled new materials is immediately required and this study is to analyze features and processing methods of new materials which can be used to interior space. We found the recycled new materials used for space through researching various web sits. And then we analyzed what the base materials are and classified that base materials are whether natural or artificial of the recycled materials. We classified processing methods of the recycled new materials after researching general processing methods. The result of this study would be an important material to the research and development of new finishing materials with consideration of environment and to the research for a guideline of applicable new materials. The results of this study are as follows : First, we could classify widely 2 categories into natural material and artificial material and then 10 subcategories into metal, glass, wood, rubber, stone, plastic, leather or fabric, ceramic, concrete and so on, and analyzed that which material is mostly used and whether it is single material or multiple material. In order to analyze the feature of processing method. Second, we could classify into 4 categories such as junction, surface process, molding, and insert, and found out which processing method is applied based on objects of research. Third, as an analysis result of the recycled new material feature, in order to develop various new materials, it is required to study on combination and application of 2 materials or more rather than single material. Four, as a analysis result of the processing method feature, I would like to suggest that development and application of various processing methods are required. Especially, it is necessary to grope for a way to develop new functional materials for interior space through a systemic research and analysis of processing method of other fields. Furthermore, a way to reuse recycled new materials should be considered in a stage of selection and application of processing method.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the advertisements of eco-friendly interior products and finishing materials in 3 interior design magazines which have been published for 4 years since 2002: to identify specific types of the products and materials that consumers can choose and to analyze their special ingredients which have functions and effectiveness related to health. Literature review and content analysis on the advertisements were employed. The results are as follows: The amount of advertisements has been continuously increasing due to the public concerns on well-being and finishing material types absolutely took the greatest proportion (92.8%) among them. Floor coverings, wall papers, and paints are the big 3 materials in the finishing material advertisements. The frequently mentioned health-related ingredients in them were charcoal, natural jade, nanosilver, yellow soil and quartz porphyry, And their main functions were emission of negative ions and ultra infrared. However, it's not easy to find their scientific test results on health. Objective guidelines are needed for the right selection of interior products and materials to maintain healthy interior environment.
