The Modeling of ISL(Intergrated Schottky Logic) Characteristics by Computer Simulations (컴퓨터 시뮬레이션에 의한 ISL 특성의 모델링)

  • In this paper, we analyzed the characteristics of schottky junction to develop the voltage swing of ISL, and simulated the characteristics with the programs at this junctions. Simulation programs for analytic characteristics are the SUPREM V, SPICE, Medichi, Matlab. The schottky junction is rectifier contact between platinum silicide and silicon, the characteristics with programs has simulated the same conditions. The analytic parameters were the turn-on voltage, saturation current, ideality factor in forward bias, and has shown the results of breakdown voltage between actual characteristics and simulation characteristics in reverse bias. As a result, th forward turn-on voltage, reverse breakdown voltage, barrier height were decreased but saturation current and ideality factor were increased by substrates increased concentration variations.

  • VLSI intergrated circuits like SOC(system on chip) often require a multi-clock design style for functional or performance reasons. The problems of the clock domain transition due to clock skew and clock ordering within a test cycle may result in wrong results. This paper describes a new BIST(Built-in Self Test) architecture for multi-clock systems. In the new scheme, a clock skew is eliminated by a multi-capture. Therfore, it is possible to perform at-speed test for both clock inter-domain and clock intra-domain.

  • This paper demonstrates the prototype implementation of existing GIS operations using an integrated CA-GIS system where a CA simulator serve an analytical engine for GIS and compares the performance of the operations implemented here with the original ones. In addition, some new GIS operations that are not available in contemporary GIS are implemented and tested within the integrated system. It has shown that most of the local and focal operations were successfully implemented with CA-GIS and some operations written with the CA simulator showed better performance. New types of operations such as various shape filters, time-series filter, and diffusion operators were able to be implemented using the CA-GIS, which appears to be significant to enhance deficient analytical capabilities of contemporary GIS.

  • This paper presents optimal design of controllable magnetorheological suspension unit for a tracked vehicle. As a first step, a double-rod type MR suspension unit is designed on the basis of the Bingham model of commercially available MR fluid, and its damping characteristics are evaluated with respect to the intensity of the magnetic field. Subsequently, the governing equation of motion of the MR suspension system featuring the MR valve is established. Then, the optimization problem to find optimal geometric dimensions of the MR supension unit is formulated by considering an objective function which is related to damping torque and control energy. The first order optimization method intergrated with a commercial finite element method(FEM) software is adopted to obtain optimal solution of the system. The performance characteristics of the optimized MR susepnsion unit is then evaluated and compared with initial one.

Study on the LAN/ISDN Interface Through Frame Relay (프레임릴레이를 통한 LAN/ISDN 인터페이스 연구)

  • This paper discusses the LAN interface technics physically applicable to the ISDN exchange system through frame relay without changing of the basic exchange architecture. To ensure the success of frame relaying, it's interworking with the existing X.25 services is very imported, and for this purpose both X.75 and 1.122-based interworking alternative must be considered. Definition required to frame relay, interconnection of remote bridge and ways to design the Frame Handler carrying a frame realying in the ISDN node was introduced here. Subsequently, alternatives using the X.25 and X.75 or 1.122 as well as interconnection mechanism LAN and ISDN for the LAN interface and LAN and/or LAN interface and ISDN through frame relay was individually introduced. Through frame relay applications in the major countries, the achievement of high speed frame relaying service to the LAN was introduced.

  • This paper deals with the design and development of an Injection-Locking Coupled Oscillators(ILCO), which functions like phase-shifter in the Active Intergrated Phased Array Antenna(AIPAA). This linear array 2-element ILCO consists of two Injection Locking Hair-pin Resonator Oscillators(ILHRO) and an unilateral amplifier. The first and second elements of the ILCO have same frequency tuning range but locking bandwidths of 11.5MHz and 14MHz respectively. A phase shift of .DELTA..PHI.=158.4.deg.(-78.0.deg. to 80.4.deg.) could be obtained inthe second element of ILCO when the first elementof the ILCO was in the reference locking mode(.DELTA..PHI.=0.deg.). When the ILCO is applied to the AIPAA, the predicted beam scanning angle value will be 38.4.deg.. Each ILCO gives good frequency stability and lower AM, FM, and PM noise charactheristics in the mutual coupling lockingmode. The ILCO can not only play a part as the phase shifter for the AIPAA but it can also be usedas the power combining device in the mm-wave frequency range and as a part of a T/R MMIC module.

  • At present, using different method, in the view of point of that factory to the rising of the productivity, they try to rise productivity by factory automation. First, it is the automation of each unit process. In out country, in the case of a few developed factory. they are realized by line automation. The majority factories are established by automation device of unit process. But, as the established devices, it must be connect between unit processes or mutual assistance and offical automation in order to raise up productivity highly. In this paper, process inspection control system is installed by each unit process automation and connect main computer with them. So, we try to rise high productivity using stochastic process and supervision function.

  • In this paper, we proposed the development of a smart factory intergrated technology education platform using smart factory based CPPS (Cyber Physical Production System) and VR (Vitrual Reality) technology and educational methods using the platform. A platform has been developed to learn how to integrate 3D digital twin and BOP (Bill of Process)-based manufacturing processes. In addition, Digital Twin established a smart factory-based integrated education platform by linking mechanical systems, digital twins, and virtual reality through the OPC-UA server. Based on this platform, the smart factory integration platform is proposed to have individual elements of the smart factory integration platform through BOP-based digital twin simulation, OPC-UA integration, MES system, SCADA system, and VR interworking.

  • This study is to analyse marketing and industrial structure of meat processing industry and to examine it's current situation related to agriculture. For this purpose 1. This paper surveys the history of meat processing industry, and analyses current situation of meat processing industry, based upon economic statistic data. 2. For the research of marketing structure of meat processing products, this paper not only ciassifies into three catagories; the supply of raw meat, main marketing organization, and path, but measures magnitude of Marketing Bill and Farmer's Share practically through statistic data and an on-the-spot survey. 3. This study also attempt to explain the relation of meat processing industry and the other industry and role of meat processing industry is Korean economy by the use of input-output table. The results of the study are as follows; 1. The meat processing industry in Korea produces low quality, and expensive raw meat with limited quality, inefficiency of marketing structure, and unrelated livestock and meat processing industry. 2. Korea market structure of meat processing products has been changed into oligopoly from monopoly by a new corporation entered into monopoly and the size of meat processing market firms has been normalized. 3. Meat processing industry is very important considering with its high back-linkage-effect. In order to develop meat processing industry and marketing, it is essential that operation of intergrated meat market center, meat market center should be efficiently operated. The efficient utilization of domestic resource for raw meat and development of processing technique have to be required, by means of the governmental support.

  • In this paper, we present an ASIC(Application Specific Integrated Circuit) design of wavelet transform filter Wavelet transform is used in lots of application fields which include image compression, because it has an excellent energy compaction. The operation characteristic and performance of wavelet transform filter are analyzed by using verilog-HDL(Hardware Description Language). In this paper, the designed wavelet transform filter uses line memory to improve data processing rate. Generally, when it reads and writes data of DRAM by using Fast Page Mode, input and output processing is very fast in horizontal direction but substantially slow in vertical direction. The use of line memory solves this low speed processing problem. As a result, though the size of the chip is getting larger, processing time for an image frame becomes 4.66ms. Generally, since the limit of 1 frame processing time on the data of TV video is 33ms, so it is appropriate for TV video.
