적응신호처리에 의한 주행전기동차의 진동신호해석 (Vibration Signal Analysis of Running Electric Train using Adaptive Signal Processing)

  • The vibration signals of driving parts of electric train are distorted its signal patterns due to the impact components, which occurs when wheel passes rail joints. An elimination method of the impact components is investigated using adaptive signal processing technique in this study The result shows that adaptive interference canceling method seems to be more effective than line enhancement technique. The application of adaptive interference canceling method to the signal measured at bogie shows that the extractions of the signals of driving parts of traction motor, reduction gear, and axle bearing are successful. Therefore, only the signals of bogie, which is the place to attach an accelerometer easily, is sufficient for the fault diagnosis and the safety evaluation of electric train. Also, adaptive interference canceling method can be applicable to evaluate the performance of vibration isolation between bogie and car body and to investigate the characteristics of indoor sound.

  • Diverse digital filters have been designed previously to eliminate powerline(AC) interference in the electrocardiouam. This paper describes filtering methods which have been developed recursive notch, adaptive, IEF(Incremental Estimation Filter) and proposes a new AIEF(Advanced Incremental Estimation Filter) method. The performances of these filters are compared on artificial signals as well as actual ECG signals with the aid of validated CSE(Common Standards for Quantitative Electrocardiowaphy). AC interference in this database is shown to exhibit two qualities especially relevant to filter design : considerable deviations from a nominal 60Hz frequency and substantial noise at higher harmonics.

가변 단면 성형 롤의 반경 증가에 의한 롤 간섭 제거 (Elimination of Roll Interference by Increasing Radius of Variable Section Forming Roll)

  • In this study, we investigated whether the interference occurring in forming roll surfaces could be eliminated by increasing the radius of the variable section forming rolls. The surfaces of the rolls capable of forming products with different flange heights and bend angles with the bend line tilted at an angle of 1° from the longitudinal axis were created using the general CAD software CATIA. Roll interferences were determined for the change in the forming roll radius. The minimum gaps between the upper and lower roll surfaces were measured for the change in the forming roll radius, and the roll interferences were calculated from the difference between the measured value and the thickness of the product. It was observed that the thickness of the product had a slight effect on the roll interference when the thickness was between 0.8 and 1.2 mm. It was also observed that the roll interference could be eliminated by increasing the roll radius.

A Power Regulation and Harmonic Current Elimination Approach for Parallel Multi-Inverter Supplying IPT Systems

  • The single resonant inverter is widely employed in typical inductive power transfer (IPT) systems to generate a high-frequency current in the primary side. However, the power capacity of a single resonant inverter is limited by the constraints of power electronic devices and the relevant cost. Consequently, IPT systems fail to meet high-power application requirements, such as those in rail applications. Total harmonic distortion (THD) may also violate the standard electromagnetic interference requirements with phase shift control under light load conditions. A power regulation approach with selective harmonic elimination is proposed on the basis of a parallel multi-inverter to upgrade the power levels of IPT systems and suppress THD under light load conditions by changing the output voltage pulse width and phase shift angle among parallel multi-inverters. The validity of the proposed control approach is verified by using a 1,412.3 W prototype system, which achieves a maximum transfer efficiency of 90.602%. Output power levels can be dramatically improved with the same semiconductor capacity, and distortion can be effectively suppressed under various load conditions.

차세대 복합 시분할 부호분할 이동통신 시스템에서 타 셀 간섭에 효율적인 결합검출 기법 (Joint Detection Technique Effective to Other Cell Interference in the Next Generation Hybrid TD-CDMA Mobile Communication Systems)

  • 본 논문에서는 차세대 복합 시분할 부호분할 다중접속 이동통신 시스템에서 타 셀 사용자 간섭 제거를 위한 결합검출 방안을 제안한다. 결합검출 기술은 차세대 복합 시분할 부호분할 다중접속 이동통신 시스템 TD-CDMA 시스템에서의 가장 큰 특징이라 할 수 있는 기술로서 셀 내의 서로 다른 사용자의 신호 간섭을 제거하여 동시에 사용자 데이터를 복원할 수 있다. 종래의 연구에서는 2단계 결합 검출 방식을 이용하여 목적 셀의 사용자 간섭 뿐 아니라 타 셀 간섭을 제거해 줄 수 있는 방안이 제안되었으나 이 방안에서는 타 셀 간섭 제거를 위한 구체적인 사용자 인식에 대한 방안이 없다. 따라서 주변 타 셀 내의 사용자의 간섭의 크기에 상관없이 모든 사용자에 대하여 결합검출을 수행해야 하며 2단계 결합검출의 복잡도가 매우 높다. 본 논문에서는 타 셀 사용자의 간섭의 크기에 따라서 선택적으로 2단계 결합 검출을 수행하는 방안을 제안한다. 제안된 방식은 모의실험을 통하여 성능을 조사하였으며 종래의 결합검출 방식에 비하여 성능의 열화가 없는 동시에 2 단계 결합검출의 복잡도를 크게 줄일 수 있다.

OFDMA 기반 Wibro 중계국에서 루프 간섭 제거 및 적응 등화기를 이용한 성능 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the performance improvement by loop interference cancellation and adaptive equalizer in OFDMA based Wibro relay station)

  • 본 논문은 OFDMA 기반의 Wibro 중계국에서 발생되는 루프 간섭 신호의 제거와 위상 보상을 위한 적응 등화기를 사용하여 성능을 개선하기 위한 것이다. Wibro 중계국은 기지국의 통신 가능 영역 확장 및 Throughput 개선을 위하여 사용되는데 송신기와 수신기가 인접해 있으므로 이들간에 루프 간섭의 문제가 성능을 결정하는 중요한 요인이 된다. 논문에서는 먼저 OFDMA 신호를 기저 대역에서 발생시킨 후 Training 시간동안 전송되는 파일롯 톤을 2 가지 삽입 방식으로 조합하여 전송하였다. 또한 부가 잡음 및 루프 간섭 신호에 의한 페이딩파를 발생시켜 수신 신호를 얻은 후 LS (Least Square) 알고리즘을 적용한 채널 추정을 이용을 하여 간섭 신호가 제거된 수신 신호를 복원한 후 적응 등화기를 통과시켜 위상을 보상하였다. 중계기의 성능을 채널 추정 결과, 간섭 제거 후와 등화 출력 신호의 성상도 (Constellation) 및 SNR 변화에 따른 BER 특성 분석을 통하여 개선되었음을 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해 확인할 수 있었다.

  • The worm gear is used in the motor drive system of automotive CVVL because of its compactness and self-locking ability. A ZK worm and an involute helical gear can be meshed in order to reduce production cost. However, the gearing is not suitable for the reliability and the NVH problem. To improve the dynamic performances, an optimal design process is considered. The transmission error is calculated theoretically and minimized with the several gear design parameters. An inequality condition such as the teeth interference elimination is added.

  • This paper proposes a design of IIR notch filter with modified pole placements. The pole angle is derived from quadratic programming to find the appropriate pole position on the unit circle in z-plane in order to achieve the symmetry of the amplitude response. The simulation results are shown when compared with the conventional design technique. Moreover, it uses the TMS320C31 DSP chip for hardware implementation. Finally, the hardware implementation can be applied to removal of ECG baseline wander and elimination of AC power line interference in ECG signal.

분할가공법에 의한 자유곡면가공 (machining of sculptured surfaces using partition machining method)

  • This paper presents precision machining of sculptured surfaces with a flat end cutter as follows; tool path generation using partition machining method and elimination interference. These days many researchers are getting interested in flat end cutter having a good cutting performance as machine tool for machining sculptured surfaces. It can get low curvature surfaces and have a much better material removal rates and longer tool life. Partition machining method is the first submitted in this paper. It is a new method of tool path generation, which means the way to map surfaces under the normal vector and then to cut them partially.
