  • This article made overtures of the relationship between interactive mathematics texts nd the prototype design of computer application with Computer Algebra System Math. Engine, linking together in the school mathematics. School teachers and researchers would try to construct mathematical materials with computers in educating students in the middle and high school grades. As the individual users come to manage hyper-media materials, so they meet with the problem of 'Who does control?'A mass user would be concerned with interactive mathematics materials directly or off-line at realtime and manipulate the process of problem-solving symbolically with MathView/sup 11)/ and ON-Math/sup 12)/. Discussion was made in developing the factor in the domestic situation and reaching out their hands for it. In conclusion, a user may reform the information of math-curriculum limitedly.

  • Compared with vehicle trajectories, pedestrian trajectories have stronger degrees of freedom and complexity, which poses a higher challenge to trajectory prediction tasks. This paper designs a mode to divide the trajectory of pedestrians at a traffic intersection, which converts the trajectory regression problem into a trajectory classification problem. This paper builds a deep model for pedestrian trajectory prediction at intersections for the task of pedestrian short-term trajectory prediction. The model calculates the spatial correlation and temporal dependence of the trajectory. More importantly, it captures the interactive features among pedestrians through the Attention mechanism. In order to improve the training speed, the model is composed of pure convolutional networks. This design overcomes the single-step calculation mode of the traditional recurrent neural network. The experiment uses Vulnerable Road Users trajectory dataset for related modeling and evaluation work. Compared with the existing models of pedestrian trajectory prediction, the model proposed in this paper has advantages in terms of evaluation indicators, training speed and the number of model parameters.

  • In design of the plastic injection mold, most of drawings are composed of basic entities. It is very easy to produce many kinds of drawings by Group Technology. Group Technology is a technique In which part similarities are used to classify parts into part families according to either geometric shape and size or processing requirements. Almost data for the mold are decided during the assembly design. A system which shows a good interfaces between the design stage and producing part exploding Is developed using AutoCAD system and data conversion technique.

  • This study proposes a new interactive multicriteria method for determining the best levels of the decision variables needed to optimize a stochastic computer simulation with multiple response variables. The method, called the Pairwise Comparison Stochastic Cutting Plane (PCSCP) method, combines good features from interactive multiple objective mathematical programming methods and response surface methodology. The major characteristics of the PCSCP algorithm are: (1) it interacts progressively with the decision maker (DM) to obtain his preferences, (2) it uses good experimental design to adequately explore the decision space while reducing the burden on the DM, and (3) it uses the preference information provided by the DM and the sampling error in the responses to reduce the decision space. This paper presents the basic concepts of the PCSCP method along with its performance for solving randomly selected test problems.

  • In this paper, we design and implement verification and interface application for interactive data broadcasting middleware. This application implements ACAP and OCAP verification item according to their types (format, protocol. resource, presentation). Therefore, using this application, we can verify whether digital settop-boxes used in digital terrestrial television and digital cable television conforms to the ACAP and OCAP standards. In this paper, we evaluate our proposed application using TVPLUSiTM verifier which can verify interactive TV application in real broadcasting environment. Through performance evaluation, we show that the DTB-H650F set-top-box supports OCAP and ACAP standard 80% and 95%, respectively.

  • The music with the times, evolved from analogous tape music to digital music. New authoring tools, interfaces, and applications make us to produce high quality music using cheap equipments. Inspired by this concept, we design an classical chinese style-instrument with the audio-visual interactive function. It enables a user to compose music and to see a vivid picture at the same time.

  • 본 논문에서는 안드로이드 기반의 인터렉티브 에듀테인먼트 콘텐츠 개발을 위해서 사용자가 인터렉티브 애니메이션을 용이하게 제작할 수 있는 스프라이트 애니메이션 기반 저작 도구의 프로토타입을 제안한다. 제안된 저작 도구는 인터렉티브 애니메이션을 용이하게 제작할 수 있도록 그래픽 사용자 인터페이스를 기반으로 설계하였고 제작된 애니메이션 콘텐츠는 모바일기기에서 활용하도록 이미지와 xml 파일로 생성한다. 제안하는 저작도구를 통해서 애니메이션 콘텐츠를 제작함으로써 코드 구현 방식보다 다양한 인터렉티브 애니메이션 콘텐츠를 제작할 수 있는데 도움이 될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

  • 본 논문은 기존의 전자동화책과는 달리 유아들에게 보다 효율적이고 효과적인 전자동화책을 제작하기 위해 유아의 학습 능력을 강조하여 오프라인의 출판 원작동화의 내용과 그림을 안드로이드 기반으로 인터렉티브 에듀테인먼트 컨텐츠를 제안하고자 한다. 즉, 동화책 내용을 음성으로 듣기 기능은 물론 줄거리에 맞춰 캐릭터들이 살아 움직이도록 인터렉티브 액션을 통하여 기능을 구현하기 위한 프로토타입을 제안한다.

  • 도시공원의 합리적인 유지관리를 위해서는 계획 및 설계단계에서 관리체계 및 비용의 주의깊은 분석이 요구된다. 공원의 유지관리문제를 계획 및 설계단계에서 고려하여 처리할 수 있는 방법론이 개발되어짐으로써 보다 합리적인 계획 및 설계가 이루어 짐과 동시에 이상적인 유지관리가 행해 질 것으로 예상된다. 본 연구에서는 Columbus시의 도시공원을 Sampling 하여 유지관리비용(maintenance cost)을 분석하고 계획 및 설계단계에서 유지관리비용을 줄일 수 있는 한 시도로써 Simulation Model을 개발해 보았다. 앞으로 컴퓨터 정보교환체계(Interactive computer information system)를 적절히 활용한다면 도시공원계획 및 유지 관리에 보다 큰 발전이 예상된다. 이와같은 연구를 보다 발전시키기 위해 1)상세한 유지관리비용의 분석, 2) 관리비용을 절감시킬수 있는 설계기준(Criteria)의 설정, 3)계획·설계·관리를 연결시킬 수 있는 컴퓨터 정보교환체계(Interactive computer Information system)의 개발등이 더욱 연구되야 할 것으로 생각된다.

Developing EFL Students' Vocabulary and Reading Comprehension Skills within an Interactive Learning Environment

  • The current study investigates the effects of an interactive learning environment on EFL students' vocabulary acquisition and reading comprehension skills. The study utilized a quasi-experimental design. The sample consisted of 41 students enrolled in the English program at Umm Al-Qura University studying Reading in EFL course in Summer 2018/2019. The sample was randomly divided into two groups: A control group consisting of 21 students and an experimental group of 20 students. The results revealed statistically significant differences at (α≤ 0.01) between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group in the posttest of the vocabulary test and the reading comprehension test favoring the experimental group. Finally, the study concluded with a call for more studies on modern technologies in teaching EFL skills in the Saudi context.
