멀티미디어 학습에서 인지 양식과 제시 순서가 파지와 이해에 미치는 영향 (Cognitive Style and Presentation Order on Retention and Integration of Information in Multimedia Learning)

  • 시각형과 언어형이라는 인지양식이 멀티미디어 학습에 영향을 미치는지 알아보기 위해 언어정보와 그림정보의 제시순서를 달리해서 실험을 실시하였다. 시각형에서는 그림정보를 먼저 제시한 경우에 더 잘 학습하였으나, 언어형은 언어정보를 먼저 제시한 경우에 수행이 좋았다. 이 결과는 인지 양식에 따라 정보의 효과적인 제시 순서가 달라질 수 있다는 것을 보여주는 것으로, 학습자의 인지양식에 따라 학습교재의 인지 부하가 달라질 수 있다는 것을 시사하였다.

Effect of Cognitive Style on Collaborative Problem Solving Ability in Programming Learning

  • Problem solving by programming has a lot of influence on computational thinking improvement. Programming learning has been self-directed based on the individual's thoughts and principles. However, the revised informatics curriculum in 2015 puts importance on collaborative learning. Collaborative learning emphasizes results differently from cooperative learning, which emphasizes problem-solving processes. And cooperative learning leads to structured learning, such as role sharing and activity stages, within a small group, while collaborative learning leads to unstructured learning. Therefore, it is becoming more in collaborative learning that peer interaction can be affected by learners' cognitive style. In this paper, we propose the effect of cognitive style on problem solving ability in collaborative learning for problem solving by programming. As a result, collaborative learning was effective in improving problem solving ability and there was no significant difference in cognitive style.

남아와 여아에 대한 유아교사의 인식 및 상호작용 (Early Childhood Teachers' Awareness of Gender and Interaction Style with Young Children)

  • 본 연구는 교사가 지니고 있는 남아와 여아에 대한 인식을 알아보고, 교실에서 남아 및 여아와 상호작용하는 과정에서 나타나는 교사의 행동을 분석해보고자 하였다. 남아와 여아에 대한 이미지 분석을 위해서는 Q 방법을 이용하여 50명의 교사들에게 Q 분포를 분류하도록 하였고, 응답을 분석한 결과 교사의 인식 유형은 남아에 대해서는 3유형, 여아에 대해서는 4유형으로 분류되었다. 교사의 성에 대한 인식이 교실 내에서 어떻게 표현되는지 알아보기 위하여 교수실제에서 나타나는 상호작용을 분석하기 위하여 두 명의 교사를 선정하여 관찰한 결과 전체적으로 여아보다 남아와 상호작용 빈도가 더 높았으며, 특히 부정적인 상호작용의 빈도에서 많은 차이를 보였다. 교사들은 면담과정에서 남아들과 상호작용하는 과정에서의 어려움과 함께 남아에 대한 이해 및 배려 부족의 문제를 스스로 인식하고 있었다.

웹 기반 학습에 있어서 공간 지각력과 정보제공 창의 형태 간의 관계 분석 (A STUDY OF SPATIAL ABILITY AND WINDOW PRESENTATION STYLES IN WEB-BASED INSTRUCTION)

  • 공간적 표현에 대한 지식은 공간적 배열의 특징과 그 특징들 사이의 관계를 그들의 기능을 고려하여 인지하는 방식과 연관이 있는 바, 본 연구에서는 웹기반 교육에 있어서 두 가지의 정보제공 창의 형태(타일창, 단일창)를 학습자의 공간지각력과 연관지어서 비교, 분석하였다. 본 연구는 공간지각력과 정보제공 창의 형태에 대한 상호작용을 학생들의 인지적 지식의 습득도를 통해 조사, 연구하기 위해 미국 펜실베니아 주의 Falk School에 재학 중인 71명의 초등학생을 대상으로 공간지각력에 대한 사전검사를 실시하고 두 실험 집단으로 나누어 과학내용에 관한 웹기반 수업을 실시하였다. 사후검사를 통해 학생들의 인지적 지식의 습득도가 측정되었고 이는 다변량 선형 회귀분석을 실시한 바에 의하면, 공간 지각력은 사후 검사 점수에 명백하게 통계적으로 유의한 주효과를 보였다. 이 같은 결과는 전체표본과 부표본에서 모두 나타났다. 웹 기반 학습에서의 아동들의 인지적 지식의 습득도는 그들의 공간지각력과 정(+)의 관계가 있으며, 공간지각력과 정보 제공 창의 형태 사이에 상호 작용의 패턴이 있음을 알 수 있는데, 이는 웹 기반 학습에 있어서 공간지각력이 낮은 학생들은 타일창에서 인지적 지식의 습득도가 더 높게 나타났고 공간지각력이 높은 학생들은 단일창에서 인지적 지식의 습득도가 더 높게 나타났다.

Investigating Smart TV Gesture Interaction Based on Gesture Types and Styles

  • Objective: This study aims to find suitable types and styles for gesture interaction as remote control on smart TVs. Background: Smart TV is being developed rapidly in the world, and gesture interaction has a wide range of research areas, especially based on vision techniques. However, most studies are focused on the gesture recognition technology. Also, not many previous studies of gestures types and styles on smart TVs were carried out. Therefore, it is necessary to check what users prefer in terms of gesture types and styles for each operation command. Method: We conducted an experiment to extract the target user manipulation commands required for smart TVs and select the corresponding gestures. To do this, we looked at gesture styles people use for every operation command, and checked whether there are any gesture styles they prefer over others. Through these results, this study was carried out with a process selecting smart TV operation commands and gestures. Results: Eighteen TV commands have been used in this study. With agreement level as a basis, we compared the six types of gestures and five styles of gestures for each command. As for gesture type, participants generally preferred a gesture of Path-Moving type. In the case of Pan and Scroll commands, the highest agreement level (1.00) of 18 commands was shown. As for gesture styles, the participants preferred a manipulative style in 11 commands (Next, Previous, Volume up, Volume down, Play, Stop, Zoom in, Zoom out, Pan, Rotate, Scroll). Conclusion: By conducting an analysis on user-preferred gestures, nine gesture commands are proposed for gesture control on smart TVs. Most participants preferred Path-Moving type and Manipulative style gestures based on the actual operations. Application: The results can be applied to a more advanced form of the gestures in the 3D environment, such as a study on VR. The method used in this study will be utilized in various domains.

성별에 따른 대학생의 스트레스 대처방식과 정서적 섭식의 관계 연구 (The Relationship between Coping Style for Stress and Emotional Eating Behavior by Gender Difference)

  • This study examined the relationship between coping style for stress and emotional eating behavior focused on gender difference. A total of 475 college students(males, 244; females, 231) participated in this study. The results were as follows. First, there were significant gender difference in coping style for stress. The scores of male students were significantly higher than those of female students in the problem-focused and self-comforting coping styles, whereas scores of female students were significantly higher than male students in social support pursuit and emotion-focused coping styles. Second, there were significant gender difference in emotional eating behavior. Female students reported higher emotional eating behavior than male students. Third, male students preferred a problem-focused coping style, whereas female students preferred a social support pursuit coping style the most. Fourth, the interaction of gender and coping style for stress were not related to the emotional eating behavior. Both of male and female students who preferred an emotion focused coping style reported the highest score in emotional eating behavior. The limitations of the present study and suggestions for future research were discussed.

어머니-영아간의 상호작용방식이 영아발달에 미치는 영향 (Mother-Infant Interaction Styles Associated with Infant Development)

  • The subjects of this study were 31 mothers and their first-born infants from middle class families living in Seoul. Mother-infant interactions were filmed at 5 and 13 months of age during naturalistic play situations at home. Questionnaire data were also collected. Results revealed that both maternal didactic and social interactions decreased over the 5 to 13 month time period but (only for infants) object-oriented interaction increased over time. Infant object-oriented interaction at 13 months was predicted by cumulative effects of both mother's social stimulation at 5 months and infant social interaction at 13 months. Infant's social interaction at 13 months was predicted by infant's object-oriented interaction at 13 months. Infant language development was predicted by mother's didactic stimulation.

판매자와의 상호작용 유형이 소비자들의 부적절한 불만행동에 미치는 영향에 대한 소비자역량 조절효과 분석 (Moderating Effect of Consumer Competency in Regards to the Influence of Interaction Style with Sales Man on Inappropriate Consumer Compliant Behaviors)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the moderating effect of consumer competency associated with the influence of interaction styles with sales man on inappropriate consumer compliant behaviors. For the purpose, the survey questionnaire was administered to 1,050 consumers across country by the on-line survey. The research data are analyzed using four statistical methods: factor analysis, reliability analysis, multiple regression, and moderating regression analysis. The results are as follows: First, some demographic variables, for example, male, level of education, marital status, amount of monthly household income had significant effects on inappropriate consumer compliant behaviors such as rudeness of behavior and interference with business. Second, it is significant that two types of interaction with sales man(passive and assertive interaction) have positive effect on rudeness of behaviors, while assertive interaction only has positive effect on inference with business. Third, this research has been shown to be significant, based upon the findings on moderating effects of consumer competency in respect to consumers' level of inappropriate compliant behaviors. In particular, consumer competency has negative moderating effects between interaction styles with sales man and rudeness of behaviors. Practical implications were discussed in terms of effective customer management strategies and policy making related to consumer education.

  • Digital technology makes changes of people's behavior style and characteristic of space in which people live. Therefore, we need to adjust conceptual meaning related to digital technology properly. For deriving emotional interactive space design, we need to understand following meanings: the meaning of interaction and interaction design, the meaning of emotion and emotional design, the meaning of space, emotional design, and interaction design in digital society. Consequently emotional interactive space design makes people satisfied with their five senses, communication with people increase and enable people to experience something new that they haven't experienced before transcending time and space.

상의 스트라이프의 방향, 폭, 색상대비가 인상형성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Stripe Pattern Direction, Width, and Color Contrast of Upper Garment on Impression Formation)

  • The purpose of this research is to find out the effect of clothing style and mixtures of stripe pattern direction, width, and coloration of an upper garment. The experimental materials made for this study are a set of stimuli and response scale(The 7-Point semantic). The subjects were 480 female undergraduate students in Seoul, Busan, Gyung-nam. The 80 stimuli which were variously incorporated with clothing styles and stipe patterns were assessed by the students. The following contents summarizes the results of the research. Impression factors of the stimuli consists of the 5 dimensions(Attractiveness, Show, Activity, Clearness, mildness). Amon these, the Attractiveness and Show dimensions proved to be more important. The clothing style and pattern direction indicated main effect in attractiveness and activity dimension. The pattern coloration showed a significant effect in dimensions except attractiveness and clearness. The pattern width had a significant effect only in the activity. Significant interaction effects of each clothing clause were found in the attractiveness, activity and clearness, but Show and mildness had no significant interaction effect. This research, as the 06 S/S, F/W trend, is a meaningful study in that it handled in the form of expression the stripe pattern used unrestrictedly in the casual wear or the formal wear by a fashion keyword.
