  • As the knowledge is recognized as a core factor of organization's competitiveness and creation of value added, the importance of knowledge management is also increased. To achieve the successful knowledge management, it is important to establish strategy that consider essential purpose of knowledge management such as creating and sharing of knowledge resource, improving performance, and continuing organizational innovation within the organization and influence factor inside and outside of organization. Until now, however, the research for knowledge management strategy was mostly limited to the statistical analysis based on the unilinear causality model, and systematic access and analysis that consider interaction and feedback structure between factors. In this paper, we developed the novel decision-making framework for successful strategy establishment by applying the analytic network process(ANP). Specifically. we derive clusters and components to decide the interaction and feedback structure between the elements of knowledge management by literature studies. And we produced relative importance and preference of clusters, components and alternatives dealing with feedback structure through the survey of experts in the field or related one of knowledge management. In result of this study, we expect that it will help the knowledge officer to decide establishing knowledge management strategy.

  • Combinatorial testing has been an active research area in recent years. One challenge in this area is dealing with the combinatorial explosion problem, which typically requires a very expensive computational process to find a good test set that covers all the combinations for a given interaction strength (t). Parallelization can be an effective approach to manage this computational cost, that is, by taking advantage of the recent advancement of multicore architectures. In line with such alluring prospects, this paper presents a new deterministic strategy, called multicore modified input parameter order (MC-MIPOG) based on an earlier strategy, input parameter order generalized (IPOG). Unlike its predecessor strategy, MC-MIPOG adopts a novel approach by removing control and data dependency to permit the harnessing of multicore systems. Experiments are undertaken to demonstrate speedup gain and to compare the proposed strategy with other strategies, including IPOG. The overall results demonstrate that MC-MIPOG outperforms most existing strategies (IPOG, IPOF, IPOF2, IPOG-D, ITCH, TConfig, Jenny, and TVG) in terms of test size within acceptable execution time. Unlike most strategies, MC-MIPOG is also capable of supporting high interaction strengths of t > 6.

  • This study investigated the moderating effects of conflict-coping strategies between marital conflict and satisfaction according to gender and marital period. The subjects of this study were 178 couples from Cheongju who have been married less than fourteen years. For husbands and wives who have been married less than 7 years, nothing moderated the interaction between marital conflict and satisfaction. However, for husbands who have been married between 8 and 14 years, their conflict withdrawal moderated the interaction between marital conflict and satisfaction. For their wives, their conflict-expression strategy and their husbands' conflict-expression strategy moderated the interaction between marital conflict and satisfaction.

  • This paper investigates the interaction among the paradigm of Low-Carbon Society (LCS) and the megatrends in field of population, environment, geopolitics, and energy. The paradigm of LCS is regarded as a 'social will' trend, distinguished from other 'phenomenal' trends. The qualitative analysis shows that the megatrends and the LCS paradigm have positive/neutral/negative impacts on one another, while some impacts can be reversed to other types of impact with the conditions having ripened. In quantitative analysis, the correlation between the LCS paradigm and the economy is traced with our Integrated Assessment Model, looking into such response options as population control, increase in labor force participation, and productivity enhancement to maintain utility level despite the pursuit of LCS paradigm. The future challenges in national strategy and S&T policy are suggested, based on the interaction analyses.

  • The purposes of this study were to develop and implement a teaching strategy that reinforced teacher-student interaction for middle school first grade science and investigate the impact of the teaching strategy on student comprehension of scientific concepts, logical thinking ability, and science-related attitudes. 200 students attending a co-ed middle school located in Gyeonggi province were selected for the study and divided into an experiment and control group each consisting of 100 pupils. The teaching strategy reinforcing teacher-student interaction was applied to the experiment group, while conventional teaching, teacher-led lecturing, was carried out on the control group. To accomplish reinforced teacher-student interaction teacher asked students diversified questions and gave delayed feedbacks that deliberately focused on thought provocation. Results showed that the developed teaching strategy was effective in improving the students' logical thinking ability(p<.01). However, no significant differences were found in student comprehension of scientific concepts and science-related attitudes between the experimental and control group(p<.05). It was determined that more sound research is needed to develop and apply a lesson plan based on the teaching strategy used in this study.

  • Corporate managers look at IT outsourcing as long-term strategic choices not as short-term tactical ones, and maximizing the effect that IT outsourcing brings about is the main concern to them. Emerging different types of IT outsourcing and their effects on the corporate business decisions necessitate the research on this subject. According to previous researches, the Intent for IT outsourcing is categorized as IS Improvement, Business Impact, and Commercial Exploitation. The decison factors for these IT outsourcing include corporate strategy types, IT role, and interaction between these two. Firm size and IT maturity are selected as moderating factors to add the credibility to the research of the effect of IT outsourcing decision making. Analyzing IT outsourcing data collected from 61 large-size and mid-size domestic firms revealed that corporate strategy rather than IT role is more significant factor affecting the intent for IT outsourcing decision. That means the decision of outsourcing intent is affected by corporate strategy types. Defenders(as in corporate strategy types) tend to use IT outsourcing more as a means to improve information systems, compared to analyzers and reactors. Prospectors tend to use IT outsourcing more as a commercial exploitation, compared to analyzers and reactors. These outcomes prove that corporate strategy characteristics reflect outsourcing intent. There were previous researches that showed outsourcing decision depends on IT role however the hypothesis was rejected that IT role determines outsourcing intent. It was also rejected that the interaction between corporate strategy types and IT role determines outsourcing intent. Corporate decision makers should first analyze corporate strategy, and reflect it on the outsourcing intent when they make IT outsourcing decisions. Only the precise defining of IT outsourcing intent will lower the risk and increase the possibility of success.

  • The Purpose of This Study is to Investigate Consumers' Negative WOMs due to the Crisis Response Strategy that Companies Perform in Crisis Situations due to the Failure of New Products. To do This, the Crisis Scenarios and Response Strategies were Manipulated Using a Virtual Laptop Company, and then an Experiment was Performed. The Results of This Experimental Design are as Follows. First, According to The Response Type Strategies, It is Found that Apologizing rather than Denying for the Crisis Response Mitigates the Negative WOMs more. Second, It is Found that the Companies that have Engaged in Cause-Related Marketing Activities before the Crisis Caused by New Product Failure Mitigate Consumers' Negative WOMs more than those which have not. Third, It is Shown that the Message Strategy of the Firm does not Affect Consumers' Negative WOMs. Fourth, the Interaction between the Response Type Strategy and the Cause-Related Marketing Activities are Found to Exist, but the Interaction Between The Response Type Strategy and the Message Strategy does not Appear.
