In centralized control sensor network, tree-based multi-channel communication overcomes the recurrent channel switching and makes possible to transfer data simultaneously from different sources. In our paper, we propose a greedy algorithm named as NIT (Non-Intersecting Tree) that the trees can avoid inter-tree interference. We also propose channel switching technique by which trees can avoid link failure or area blocking due to external interference locally without rerunningthe algorithm and without interrupting the whole network. At first we applied our algorithm for a random topology and then we evaluate the performance of the network using NS-2 simulator. The results show that with the increasing of channel the throughputand delivery ratio are increased significantly. We got better performance than a using a recent proposed Tree-based Multi-Channel Protocol (TMCP).

This paper proposes a cooperative power allocation with the use of partial channel information (e.g., the average signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and transmit correlation) in multi-cell dual-hop multi-input single-output (MISO) relay systems. In a dual-hop MISO relay channel, it is desirable to allocate the transmit power between dual-hop links to maximize the end-to-end capacity. We consider the maximization of the end-to-end capacity of a dual-hop MISO relay channel under sum-power constraint. The proposed scheme adaptively allocates the transmit power considering the average channel gain of the target relay and the transmit correlation of the desired and inter-relay interference channel from adjacent relays. It is shown by means of upper-bound analysis that the end-to-end capacity can be maximized by making the angle difference of the principal eigenvectors of the desired and inter-relay interference channel orthogonal in highly-correlated channel environments. Finally, the performance of the proposed scheme is verified by computer simulation.

In this paper, Inter user interference elimination algorithm based on Block Diagonal Geometric Mean Decomposition(BD-GMD) for eliminating inter user interference apply to Zero-Forcing in the Successive Signal to Leakage plus Noise Ratio(SSLNR) in Coordinated Multi-Point Coordinated Beamforming system(CoMP CB). As a result, the leakage power is eliminated. The inter user interference elimination algorithm, however, cannot guarantee the enough desired signal power therefore we perform the channel ordering to overcome this disadvantage and increase the desired signal power. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme provides the improved Bit Error Rate(BER) performance compared with existing SSLNR-Zero-Forcing-Tomlinson Harashima precoding(SSLNR-ZF-THP).

In cellular OFDMA(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access) systems, each subcarrier may suffer from different amount of interferences from neighbor cells. Suppose that it is possible to accurately estimate inter-cell interferences for each subcarrier, the performance can be considerably improved by applying SINR(Signal to Interference and Noise Ratio) weighting. This paper proposes an inter-cell interference estimation method for cellular OFDMA systems. The proposed method extracts amounts of noise and interferencesby eliminating the channel variation effects of pilot symbols caused by frequency offset, timing offset mobile velocity, and delay spread.

This paper formulates resource allocation for decode-and-forward (DF) relay assisted multi-cell orthogonal frequency division multiple (OFDM) networks as an optimization problem taking into account of inter-cell interference and users fairness. To maximize the transmit rate of system we propose a joint interference coordination, subcarrier and power allocation algorithm. To reduce the complexity, this semi-distributed algorithm divides the primal optimization into three sub-optimization problems, which transforms the mixed binary nonlinear programming problem (BNLP) into standard convex optimization problems. The first layer optimization problem is used to get the optimal subcarrier distribution index. The second is to solve the problem that how to allocate power optimally in a certain subcarrier distribution order. Based on the concept of equivalent channel gain (ECG) we transform the max-min function into standard closed expression. Subsequently, with the aid of dual decomposition, water-filling theorem and iterative power allocation algorithm the optimal solution of the original problem can be got with acceptable complexity. The third sub-problem considers dynamic co-channel interference caused by adjacent cells and redistributes resources to achieve the goal of maximizing system throughput. Finally, simulation results are provided to corroborate the proposed algorithm.

In this paper, a two-dimensional (2-D) channel code for magnetic patterned media is proposed. Patterned media records an information bit on a magnetized dot. Since the space between adjacent tracks is narrow in order to increase the storage density, inter-track interference (ITI) and inter-symbol interference (ISI) can be problems. The amplitude of a bit signal can be corrupted by the 2-D ISI. The signal of the bit surrounded by the same value can be especially destructive, i.e. when its value is the same as the values of the eight surrounding bits. The proposed modulation coding scheme improves the decoding performance of patterned media by preventing this worst case and provides a better code rate than conventional channel codes.

In this paper, we propose coordinated scheduling and beamforming based on limited feedback to overcome the effects of inter-cell interference in multi-cell environment. The goal of this study is to improve a performance of cell-edge area significantly affected by the inter-cell interference and also to guarantee a performance of the entire system. Existing coordinated scheduling and beamforming based on the perfect channel state information generates an overhead for the channel state information feedback and exchange at the users and base stations, respectively. In this study, first we propose a novel codebook to obtain a null space of an interference channel efficiently which can be used to reduce the inter-cell interference. Using the proposed codebook, we propose coordinated scheduling and beamforming to improve the performance of cell-edge area and the entire system. Through the proportional fair scheduling, the performance of the proposed technique is shown as improvement of channel capacity for users located cell-edge area and entire system.

In this paper, the author presents the MIMO(Multi-Input Multi-Output) receiver algorithm with the capability of inter-cell or inter-sector interference cancellation over multi-antenna OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) systems. As contrast with the previous research dealing with the filtering scheme at the time domain, the proposed algorithm is presented as the pre-filtering scheme which can be applicable to the frequency domain. Note that the proposed one can be implemented only by pilot symbols which are used in the channel estimation. In addition, it is analytically confirmed that the proposed scheme can be applied for either MIMO( C-SM(Collaborative-Spatial Multiplexing)) interference or SIMO(Single-Input Multi-Out) interference. The proposed receiver algorithm is verified by simulations over UL-PUSC SR off in IEEE 802.16e standard. From simulation results, it is confirmed that the proposed one can be applicable regardless of the kind of interference. Furthermore, it is verified that the performance is guaranteed even under Ole severe effect of interference and the improvement of system throughput is guaranteed.

In time-varying multipath fading channels, orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) uplink systems suffer severe performance degradation caused by inter-channel interference (ICI). In this paper, we propose a hybrid interference cancellation (HIC) for suppressing the degradation effect of ICI. The proposed HIC can achieve both exact interference cancellation and low detection complexity through efficient combination of parallel detection and serial cancellation. Simulation results show that, as the effect of Doppler increases, the proposed HIC achieves bit error rate (BER) performance enhancement in compared with severe performance degradation of conventional OFDMA receivers. In addition, both the computational complexity and total detection time are reduced.

The inter-symbol interference(ISI) is one of the main obstacles to reliable high-rate data communication in the shallow underwater acoustic channel. This paper studies on the simulation of adaptive equalizer used as a means of mitigating the ISI in the shallow underwater acoustic communication system. The underwater channel is modeled as a superposition of multiple paths, whose lengths and relative delays are calculated from the channel geometry. Based on this channel model, computer simulations are carried out to investigate the performance of adaptive equalizer in the shallow underwater acoustic channel.
