우리나라의 철도운송 분담율은 매년 6%를 유지하고 있으나 철도물류에 대한 지속적인 투자 및 물류 합리화 여부에 따라 철도물류는 상반된 결과를 가져올 것이다. 철도물류의 발전에 크게 기여할 것으로 예상되는 남북철도 뿐만 아니라 철도물류에 대한 연구가 상당히 미흡한 상황에서 철도 물류기지의 수요예측, 규모를 예측하고, 물류기지를 통한 남북철도 활성화 방안을 연구하고자 하였다. 철도 물류기지를 통한 남북철도의 활성화 방안으로서 첫째, 물류기지에서 취급하는 석탄 수요자와의 파트너쉽을 강화하여야 하며, 둘째, 강릉에서 제진까지 동해 북부선의 건설이 필요할 뿐만 아니라 노후화된 북측 선로의 유지보수에 필요한 재정적 지원이 이루어져야 한다. 셋째, 장·단거리 운송 및 대형 화주에 대한 철도운임을 탄력적으로 적용할 필요가 있으며, 넷째, 해외 광산개발 참여 등을 통하여 철도 운송권을 확보하여야 하고, 다섯째, 양회사와 같은 소형 화주를 지속적으로 발굴하여야 한다.

This paper deals with the exchange of tourists and the operation of sightseeing train encouraged by the inter- Korean cross-border railway project. First of all, how the inter-Korean cross-border railway project has developed will be discussed. After this, tile present tourism state, facilities, the state of railways and roads of North Korea, and major tourist attraction around the Kyonguisun will be shown. And then, several aspects on the agreements between the Korean National Railroad (KORAIL) and North Korean railroad system will be summarized. And, finally, the economic effect of the line including the operation schedule of the Kyonguisun sightseeing train, the demand forecast, the computation of railway fare, and profit sharing will be depicted.

지속적인 경제성장에 더불어 지역 활성화 정책이 시행되면서 지역 간 통행수요가 증가하고 있으며, 이를 다양한 교통수단이 분담하고 있다. 교통 분야에서 저탄소 녹색성장이 강조되면서 친환경 교통수단인 간선열차로 통행수요의 전환을 유도하려는 노력이 이루어지고 있다. 이를 위하여 간선열차와 경쟁적 위치에 있는 대중교통수단들에 대한 승객들의 인식 파악 및 간선열차의 경쟁력 강화 방안에 대한 연구는 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 6개의 대표적 지역 간 대중교통수단(KTX, ITX-새마을, 무궁화, 우등고속버스, 일반고속버스, 항공기)이 제공하는 서비스 특성에 대한 유사성을 다차원척도 분석을 실시하여 2차원 공간상에 개념적 거리로 표현하고 승객들의 수단 간 유사성 인식정도를 측정하였다. 연구 결과를 통하여 지역 간 대중교통 수단들에 대한 경쟁관계를 파악할 수 있었으며, 이를 통하여 간선열차가 상대적 경쟁우위를 선점하기 위한 방안을 제시하였다.

To establish transportation system in railway focusing truly, we should plan route and invest continuously to consider the means of railway's functional sides. And it should be inter-modal system. Therefore this study concentrates on high-speed railway and considers the construct of transportation system in railway focus on the supplier aspect.

이 논문은 남북철도 연결에 대비하여 관광교류와 관광열차 운행에 관한 연구 논문이다. 이 글에서는 남북철도 연결의 고찰과 북한관광의 현황을 알아보고, 북한 관광기반시설, 철도, 도로현황을 알아보고 경의선 철도를 이용한 북한의 주요관광지 소개(경의선 연결지역중심) 북한관광 교류의 절차를 파악하고 북한관관열차 운행에 따른 협약(남북관광교류에 관한 협약 및 부속합의서) 남한 철도청과 북한 철도부와의 협약(관광열차 운행의 주체) 여행사간 협약, 신변안전 협약, 열차안전에 고나한 협약, 운임계산에 고나한 협약, 여행 안내협약, 관광여행객이 지켜야 할 사항, 국경역 통과에 관한 협약 등을 작성해 보며, 경의선 연결에 대비 경의선을 중심으로 관광 열차 운행 계획, 수요 예측, 운임계산, 수익 분배방식, 일정표 등을 논해보고 경제적 효과를 분석해 본다.

'2013년 산업연관표'를 활용하여 철도운송서비스산업의 위상과 국가 경제에 미치는 효과를 분석하였다. 이를 '2003년 산업연관표'를 이용한 분석결과와 직접 비교함으로써 지난 10년 동안의 변화를 살펴보았다. 지난 10년간 우리나라의 철도운송서비스 산업은 생산액, 부가가치, 수출입 등에서 많은 변화가 있었다. 이를 가장 선명하게 보여주는 지표는 생산, 부가가치, 수입유발 승수의 크기이다. 2013년에 철도여객서비스의 생산, 부가가치, 수입유발 승수는 2003년에 비해서 각각 2.1배, 0.03배, 1.29배 증가하였다. 그리고 철도화물서비스는 각각 1.17배, 0.02배, 0.64배씩 증가하였다. 이 수치들을 통해서 지난 10년 동안에 철도운송서비스산업과 다른 산업들 간의 투입산출구조가 상당히 많은 변화를 거쳤음을 알 수 있다. 그리고 산업연관분석 연구에는 무엇보다도 최신의 자료를 이용해야 더 시의적절한 결과를 도출 할 수 있음도 새삼 확인되었다.

A numerical analysis method for predicting aerodynamic noise at inter-coach space of high-speed trains, validated by wind-tunnel experiments for limited speed range, is proposed. The wind-tunnel testing measurements of the train aerodynamic sound pressure level for the new generation Korean high-speed train have suggested that the inter-coach space aerodynamic noise varies approximately to the 7.7th power of the train speed. The observed high sensitivity serves as a motivation for the present investigation on elucidating the characteristics of noise emission at inter-coach space. As train speed increases, the effect of turbulent flows and vortex shedding is amplified, with concomitant increase in the aerodynamic noise. The turbulent flow field analysis demonstrates that vortex formation indeed causes generation of aerodynamic sound. For validation, numerical simulation and wind tunnel measurements are performed under identical conditions. The results show close correlation between the numerically derived and measured values, and with some adjustment, the results are found to be in good agreement. Thus validated, the numerical analysis procedure is applied to predict the aerodynamic noise level at inter-coach space. As the train gains speed, numerical simulation predicts increase in the overall aerodynamic sound emission level accompanied by an upward shift in the main frequency components of the sound. A contour mapping of the aerodynamic sound for the region enclosing the inter-coach space is presented.

This is also a predicting thesis for a smooth goods transport in case of setting up a goods transport system between south and North Korea predicting transport demand for the connection of a railway and road studying fundamental facilities and transport related laws.

The introduction of high speed railway system a significant impact on the conventional inter-urban transport systems by inducing a significant traffic from the existing modes as well as generating a new traffic. It is also closely related to intra-urban transport systems as the inter-urban traffic has its origin and destination in a city. In the context of mode choice, for high speed transport systems, it has been argued that the accessibility is the most important attribute conceived by users. Thus this study attempts to analysis the importance of the accessibility for the planned high speed railway systems particularly with respect to the location of Busan Station. For this Stated-Preference approach, which is considered appropriate for such study, is adopted, and disaggregate binary logit models for mode choice between the high speed railway and air service in Busan-Seoul corridor are developed. The elasticities for cost and service variables are also derived. The results disclose that cost is the most important which is inconsistent with most previous studies ; accessibility has considerable impact on the choice ; and frequency however has a little impacts. Concerning location of the high speed railway station the results suggest that the longer the access distance is, the more important the accessibility is. This implies that the connection of reliable access transport services such as underground are essential between the terminal and urban center.
