노인장기요양 인력의 직무 스트레스와 직무 만족이 이직 의도에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Work Stress and Job Satisfaction on Turnover Intention: A Study of Long-term Care Workers)

  • 이 연구는 노인장기요양 인력의 직무 스트레스와 직무 만족이 이직 의도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 이들의 이직 의도를 감소시키기 위한 제언을 하고 있다. 장기요양서비스를 제공하는 인력의 높은 이직률이 노인들에 대한 서비스 연속성과 서비스 질을 방해하고 있기 때문에 이직에 대한 해결책이 필요하다. 연구 대상은 전남지역 노인장기요양기관에 근무하는 사회복지사, 간호사, 요양보호사를 포함하는 직원 235명이다. 조사 기간은 2009년 7월 1일부터 10일까지 진행하였고, 자료수집은 자기기입식 방법의 설문지를 활용하여 수집하였으며, 분석방법으로 SPSS 12.0을 이용하여 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 이 연구에서 사용한 직무스트레스 척도는 MBI의 정서적 탈진 척도롤 활용하였고, 직무 만족은 한국노동패널의 전반적 직무만족도 척도를 활용하였으며, 이직 의도는 조직구성원의 자발적 이직 의도를 측정하는 척도를 활용하였다. 분석 결과에 의하면, 사회인구학적 특성으로 연령, 교육수준, 직위, 기관위치 등의 변수가 유의미한 영향을 미쳤고, 직무 스트레스와 직무 만족 변수도 이직 의도에 유의미한 영향을 끼쳤다. 연구 결과를 통해 이직 의도를 예방하기 위하여 직무 스트레스를 줄이고, 직무 만족을 높이는 전략이 필요함을 확인하였다. 결론으로 장기요양 인력의 이직 의도를 예방하기 위한 제도적 실천적 함의를 제언하였다.

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to develop a machine learning model to predict the subsequent childbirth intention of married women with one child, aiming to address the low birth rate problem in Korea, This will be achieved by utilizing data from the 2021 Family and Childbirth Survey conducted by the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs. Methods: A prediction model was developed using the Random Forest algorithm to predict the subsequent childbirth intention of married women with one child. This algorithm was chosen for its advantages in prediction and generalization, and its performance was evaluated. Results: The significance of variables influencing the Random Forest prediction model was confirmed. With the exception of the presence or absence of leave before and after childbirth, most variables contributed to predicting the intention to have subsequent childbirth. Notably, variables such as the mother's age, number of children planned at the time of marriage, average monthly household income, spouse's share of childcare burden, mother's weekday housework hours, and presence or absence of spouse's maternity leave emerged as relatively important predictors of subsequent childbirth intention.

Employees' Intention to Leave Job: The Case of Micro Finance Institution

  • The main purpose of this study is to examine the factors that influence the employee's intention to leave the current job. A descriptive survey design was conducted and primary data were collected by using questionnaire. The study was based on random sampling; a sample of 200 was drawn from the employees who work in different micro finance institutions in Nepal. For the data analysis percentage analysis and chi square-test were used. The study revealed that salary, working condition, career growth, supervisor behavior and outstation influence the job quitting process. The study also defined the association between the reasons for leaving job such as salary, working condition, career growth supervisor behaviour & outstation and satisfaction, time spent in the organisation, training & development facility, frequency of changing job & encourage from immediate boss. This study establishes the importance of intentions of employees to quit job and provides further evidence in revealing the intentions to quit among the employees.

물리치료사의 직무만족과 이직의도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Job Satisfaction and Turnover Intention of Physical Therapist)

  • This study was attempted to examine the relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intention of physical therapist in order to suggest some method to enhance their job performance and the degrees of job satisfaction. High turnover intention of physical therapist is one of the serious problems at the present time which providing low quality physical therapy. The data were collected from July 1, to August 31, 2000 and analyzed by ANOVA, Pearson Correlation Coefficients. The summarized result are as follows: 1. The job satisfaction score of physical therapists showed the highest of the pride of patient treatment and total mean score was 2.96. 2. Those who were in the range of 26 to 30 years of age showed the strongest desire to leave the hospital 3. There were 68.8% in male. 47.6% in female who hoped to turnover intention. 4. There were significant difference between those who want to leave and those who want remain in relation patient number, work hospital work years. 5. There were no significant difference between those who want to turnover intention and those who want remain in relation patient number and work years. 6. The major reason for job satisfaction were work time and work areas.

육아휴직 후 복직 간호사의 양육스트레스, 일-가정 갈등, 자아탄력성이 재직의도에 미치는 영향 (Do parenting stress, work-family conflict, and resilience affect retention intention in Korean nurses returning to work after parental leave?: a cross-sectional study)

  • Purpose: This study investigated whether parenting stress, work-family conflict, resilience affect retention intent in Korean nurses returning to work after parental leave. Methods: The participants in this study were 111 nurses recruited from 10 hospitals in Korea, who were working after formal parental leave from their hospitals. Collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, the t-test, analysis of variance, the Mann-Whitney U-test, Pearson correlation coefficients, and hierarchical regression. Results: Retention intention (33.80±7.78), parenting stress (101.70±17.57), and resilience (85.02±12.75) were at greater than moderate levels and a midpoint level of work-family conflict (29.63±7.00) was noted in this sample of mostly women nurses in their 30s. The factors affecting retention intent were parental leave duration, the number of times that participants had taken parental leave, health condition, work-family conflict, and resilience. The total explanatory power of these variables was 36.7%. Retention intent had a negative correlation with parenting stress and work-family conflict. Conversely, retention intent was positively correlated with resilience. Conclusion: This study supports the need for flexible adjustment of returning nurses' working hours and family-friendly policies to promote balance between work and family. It is also necessary to develop and apply measures that boost resilience and support health improvement for nurses returning to work.As nurses are often assigned to new areas of work upon return, training programs to aid their adjustment may also be helpful.

학교 급식 관리 영양사의 영양교사 제도에 대한 기대감에 따른 직무만족도, 근로가치관 및 이직의도의 차이 분석 (Comparison Analysis of School Foodservice Dietitians' Job Satisfaction, Work Value, and Turnover Intention Based on the Expectation to be a Nutrition Teacher)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the difference of school food service dietitians' work value, job satisfaction, and turnover intention based on their expectation to be a nutrition teacher. Also, this study explored the differences in expectation to be a nutrition teacher, work value, job satisfaction, turnover intention depending on demographics and school foodservice operational characteristics. This study surveyed dietitians who worked at school foodservice in Kyunggii and Daegu Gyeoungbuk Province. A total of 509 responses were collected using on-site survey and online survey (59.3%). Dietitians expressed favorable work value ($3.88{\pm}0.34$) and mid level of a job satisfaction ($2.99{\pm}0.64$). The percentage of dietitians who had an intention to leave after the promulgation of a nutrition teacher system (13.2%) was lower than that of dietitians who had an intention to leave prior to it (23.2%). Most dietitians expected a salary rise (84.7%), more chance to teach nutrition education (76.0%), and the improvement of power not only as a teacher but as a dietitian (72.7%). Dietitians who had higher expectation levels to be a nutrition teacher (> 3 on the 5 point Likert scale) showed a higher tendency of significant turnover intention (F = 4.40, p < 0.01) and more confident work value (F = 15.292, p < 0.001) when comparing those who had lower expectations. There were significant differences in work value, job satisfaction, turnover intention, and expectation to be a nutrition teacher depending on career length and employment status of dietitians. This study revealed that school food service dietitians have favorable expectations to be nutrition teachers with high work value.

기업의 가족친화제도가 기혼 직장여성의 출산의향에 미치는 영향: 여성의 연령 집단별 비교 (The impact of family-friendly policies in the workplace on the childbearing intention of married-employed women: A comparison of two age groups)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between family-friendly policies in working places and the childbearing intentions of married-employed women. The analysis included 415 married working women from the 2012 wave of the Korean Longitudinal Survey of Women and Family. The factors influencing the childbearing intentions of the women were age, education, number of children under age 18, childbirth leave, childcare facilities, and flextime. The women whose work-places provided childbirth leave had stronger childbearing intentions. The women under age 35 had stronger childbearing intentions when their work-places had flextime policies. In conclusion, my recommendation is that the government should pay more attention to the micro-personal factors, such as the Family-friendly Workplace Practices proposed in this study, when executing policies to reverse the current trend of low fertility.

의료기관에서 리더십과 조직문화가 조직유효성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 -치과의원 중심으로- (The Effect of Leadership and Organizational Culture on Organizational Effectiveness : A Dental Clinics-Based Study)

  • This study aims to explore how the transformational leadership (consisting of three factors"charisma, individualized consideration, and intellectual stimulation) and the organizational culture (typified by developmental, rational, consensual, and hierarchical culture) are related to the organizational effectiveness (consisting of job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and intention to leave a job) of dental clinics. We found the following empirical results through a survey of 378 persons who work in dental clinics. Firstly, the respondents acknowledged charismatic leadership as the typical type of leadership ; as for organizational culture, a culture of consensus is recognized as the representative type. Secondly, transformational leadership has different effects according to the type of organizational culture: a positive influence in developmental and rational cultures, but a negative influence in consensual and hierarchical cultures. Thirdly, developmental culture has proven to be the most suitable for increasing job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The developmental, rational, and consensual cultures have all contributed to reducing intention to leave among clinic staff, whereas in the hierarchical culture, intention has been elevated. Fourthly, transformational leadership has a positive effect on the job satisfaction and organizational commitment; the intent to leave has been lessened under individualized consideration and charismatic leadership, but has been increased under leadership of intellectual stimulation. Fifthly, it is consideration and charisma that help to increase organizational effectiveness. These influences will become more effective through a developmental culture. Based on the above empirical results, we propose practical measures to improve the organizational effectiveness of clinics, in particular dental clinics. In order to build developmental culture, the doctor (manager) should produce an atmosphere in the clinic in which staff members are able to create and jointly own ideas and then promote awareness of staff participation. Additionally, in order to bring leadership of charisma and consideration into full play, the doctor should shape a relationship of mutual trust mainly by recognizing and praising the work of clinic staff. Finally, the doctor needs to acknowledge that organizational effectiveness can be significantly improved by increasing the transparency of the business.

국내 패션기업 종사자들의 특성에 따른 직무만족, 조직몰입과 이직의도 (Job Satisfaction Organizational Commitment and Intent to Leave the Job According to the Characteristics of Korean Fashion Companies)

  • The purpose of the study was to investigate differences in job satisfaction, organizational commitment and intent to leave the job according to the characteristics of employees of korean fashion companies. For the study, the questionnaire was developed by the authors and distributed to 350 employees of Korean fashion companies. A total of 315 questionnaires was collected and used for the final analysis. Data were analyzed by frequency analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, independent sample T-test, ANOVA and Tukey's test, using the SPSS 18.0 Package Program. First, men showed higher scores in job satisfaction and organizational commitment, and lower score in intent to leave their jobs than women. Second, those who were in their fifties or older had higher job satisfaction and organizational commitment and lower intent to leave their job than those who were in their twenties. Third, those who work in the sales department or merchandising department had higher job satisfaction and organizational commitment and lower intent to leave their job than designers. Fourth, managers and executives had higher job satisfaction and organizational commitment and lower intent to leave their job than lower position employees. Fifth, those with 15 years or longer job experience had higher job satisfaction and organizational commitment and lower intent to leave their job than those with less than three years. Finally, those who had a monthly income of three million won or more had higher job satisfaction and organizational commitment and lower intent to leave their job than those who had a monthly income of less than one million won.

세대별 개인·직무차원 만족이 이직의사에 미치는 영향 - 직장(일자리) 만족의 매개효과를 중심으로 - (Study on the Effect of Individual and Job-Level Satisfaction by Generation on Turnover Intention : Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Workplace Satisfaction)

  • 이직은 노동시장에서 중요한 화두이며, 최근에는 다양한 세대들이 함께 일을 하면서 세대간의 마찰 등으로 인하여 조직 관리에 어려움을 느끼고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 세대별로 개인차원의 변수(미래전망, 생활만족)와 직무차원의 변수(전공-일 수준, 직무만족)가 이직의사에 미치는 관계에서 직장만족의 매개 역할을 분석하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 한국노동패널 제22차 자료를 활용하여 관련 변수를 선정하고, SPSS를 활용하여 매개효과를 분석하였다. 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 개인차원의 변수가 이직의사에 영향을 미치는 관계에서 직장만족은 완전매개 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 직무차원의 변수가 이직의사에 영향을 미치는 관계에서 직장만족은 부분매개 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, Z세대는 다른 세대와 다르게 직무차원의 직무만족의 변수만 이직의사에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며, 직장만족은 부분매개 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다.
