Exploring Determinants of Performance Indicator and Customer Satisfaction of Accommodation Sharing

  • The study aims to investigate determinants of performance indicator and perceptions of existing and potential customers in accommodation sharing. This study uses data of Airbnb in Busan and Jeju from January 1 to December 31 in 2018, provided by AirDNA. The total number of listed accommodation sharing were 5,109 accommodations in Busan and 11,502 accommodations in Jeju. More than 90 property types of registered accommodation are subcategorized and re-classified in this study. Study 1 examined current usage and effects of factors on performance indicator in tourism destinations by applying Airbnb data. Study 2 investigated effects of perceived factors on satisfaction, intention to use, loyalty, and tourism competitiveness by applying online survey data. This study applies statistical analyses such as factor and regression analyses, ANOVA, t-test, and MANOVA. Results of Study 1 showed that usage and effects of accommodation sharing differ from regulation that is related to sharing types. Effects also differ based on travel destinations. Results of Study 2 showed how customers perceive accommodation sharing differ from pure meaning of sharing. The results of Study 1 and 2 found significant effects of price and service factors on performance indicator and customer satisfaction. The findings of Study 2 showed significant effects on loyalty and tourism competitiveness.

Cloud-Based Accounting Adoption in Jordanian Financial Sector

  • Cloud accounting represents a new area of accounting information systems. Past research has often focused on accounting information systems and its antecedents, rather than factors that adopt cloud accounting system. The purpose of this paper is to explain the factors that influence the adoption of cloud accounting in the financial sectors. This paper applied the technology acceptance model (TAM), technology-organization-environment, and the De Lone and Mc Lean model, coupled with proposed factors relevant to cloud accounting. The proposed model was empirically evaluated using survey data from 187 managers (financial managers, IT department managers, audit managers, heads of accounting departments, and head of internal control departments) in Jordanian bank branches. Based on the SEM results, top management support, organizational competency, service quality, system quality, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use had a positive relationship with the intention of using cloud accounting. Cloud accounting adoption positively affected cloud accounting usage. This paper contributes to a theoretical understanding of factors that activate the adoption of cloud accounting. For financial firms in general the results enable them to better develop cloud accounting framework. The paper verifies the factors that affect the adoption of cloud accounting and the proposed cloud accounting model.

A Study on Selection Attributes of Luxury Goods in Online Stores of MZ Generation: Focusing on the Moderating Effects of Consumer Value

  • Purpose: This research aims to study the selection attributes influencing the purchasing decisions of the MZ generation in online luxury stores and explores the moderating effects of consumer value. The research aims to validate the impact of reasonable pricing, brand reliability, product variety, comprehensive product information, and user-friendly interfaces on customers' decision to purchase products from online luxury stores. Research design, data and methodology: A survey was conducted with 101 participants, and data analysis included exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, as well as covariance structure model analysis. Results: The findings reveal that brand trust, product variety, and information sufficiency significantly influence brand affect, which in turn influences purchase intention. Additionally, the study identifies that consumers prioritizing hedonic value are more influenced by brand trust and information, while those prioritizing utilitarian value are more responsive to factors like reasonable price, product variety, and ease of use. Conclusions: The study provides insights into the preferences and behaviors of the MZ generation, highlighting their digital proficiency, mobile-centric lifestyle, desire for product variety, price-consciousness, social media influence, and the availability of personalized shopping experiences as factors contributing to their preference for online luxury stores. These findings contribute to understanding consumer behavior and decision-making processes in the context of online luxury shopping.

Factors Determining Adoption of Fintech Peer-to-Peer Lending Platform: An Empirical Study in Indonesia

  • Platform lending or online lending, sometimes called peer-to-peer (P2P) lending, arose due to the digital revolution to meet people's requirements for simple fund borrowing. It quickly became an alternative to other traditional lending techniques, for example, loans banks. Along with the growth of P2P lending, several academics have investigated how information technology is used in financial services, emphasizing extended application methods. This study proposes an enhanced technology acceptance model (TAM) that investigates how consumers embrace P2P lending platforms by using quality of service and perceived risk as drivers of trust, relative advantage and compatibility as drivers of perceived usefulness. For the purpose of this study, we created a questionnaire, distributed it to clients of P2P lending platforms and fintech services in general in cities in Java, Indonesia. We received 290 replies to our questionnaire. The data was analyzed to test the hypotheses using structural equation modeling (SEM). The findings show that consumers' trust, relative advantage, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use in P2P lending platforms substantially affect their views toward adoption. The research's findings are useful for fine-tuning platform marketing strategies and putting strategic goals into action.

스마트폰 환경에서 소셜커머스 사용에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Social Commerce in Smartphone Environment)

  • Currently, Social Commerces have increasingly gained popularity with the growth of Social Network Services (SNS). As the applications of smartphones are being applied in widespread areas, social commerces in the smartphone environment have entered a new chapter. The applications of social commerces on smartphones are widely used, which has increased the market share of social commerces exponentially. Thus, we tried to find out factors which may affect the user acceptance of social commerces in the smartphone environment. We develop a research model to examine how social commerces in the smartphone environment are accepted by users based on the academic factors-switch costs, trend-seeking tendency, richness in media. The theoretical model is validated through an survey of social commerce users in the smartphone environment from the undergraduates and the graduates in Seoul, Korea. The structural equation analysis is conducted based on the partial least square (PLS) approach. The results reveal that the switch cost will have positive mediating influences to the intention to use social commerce in the smartphone environment. We also find that the perceived usefulness of the smartphone is affected by the media richness. The results also suggest that the trend-seeking tendency has no influences to the users of social commerces in the smartphone environment. Also, theoretical and practical implications are discussed. The findings are believed to increase our understanding an interesting mobile phenomenon, as well as making contributions.

An Empirical Study of the Korean Telecommunication Market and IoT Smart Home: Effects of Bundling Strategy on Consumers' Responses

  • Purpose: This research focused on the fact that the Internet platform is integral to IoT products such as Smart home and studied consumer buying decisions when products are sold bundled with internet service. Contrary to the sales strategies of telecommunication companies, some companies sell IoT products alone, for example Google, Kakao, and Naver. In this market situation, the sales strategies of Korean telecommunication companies were analyzed with bundling theory and technology acceptance model, then it was conducted to figure out which sales and distribution strategies could affect consumers' purchase behavior. Research design, data, methodology: Data was collected by149 questionnaires from groups who are familiar with IoT smart home systems, then exploratory factor analysis and regression were used to analyze the research model. Results: The results revealed that the perceived ease of use and the perceived usefulness affect the purchase intention of IoT-based products; however, this effect was not found in the case of bundled products. In other words, it is found that selling and distributing Internet services and IoT products together does not affect consumers' purchases. Conclusion: It is suggested that Korean telecommunications companies' existing sales and distribution strategies for IoT products need to be changed according to its characteristics.

한방 의료 서비스 품질이 환자 만족 및 재이용 의도에 미치는 영향 (A Study on Relationship between Health Services Quality and Customer's Satisfaction in Oriental Medicine Hospitals)

  • Purpose : This study was conducted to understand Oriental medical health services and analyze the relationships between the perceived Oriental medical health services and the effect, influencing patient satisfaction as. well as intentions of re-visiting such hospitals. Methods : SPSS 10.0, a statistical processing method, was used to process the study data and frequency and ANOVA analysis were used to analyze the differences. Also, Pearson correlation coefficient was performed to analyze the relationships between work satisfaction and health services quality, as well as patient satisfaction and intentions to re-visit such hospitals. Results : Most patients were satisfied with the service, but it was shown that improvement of facilities and medical equipment was needed. The survey showed higher satisfaction with longer experience of doctors and nurses. Staff recognition of health services quality seemed lower than patient satisfaction, so efforts to improve the health services and relationships between health services quality and patient satisfaction are necessary. Conclusion : Higher quality and satisfaction with Oriental medical health services are going to improve total re-use intention to a significant degree.

컨버전스 환경 하에서 통신.방송 결합상품 수용의도에영향을 미치는 서비스 특성 연구 (The Service Features Influencing the Acceptance of Telecommunication-Broadcasting Bundling in Convergence Environment)

  • 컨버전스는 소비자 니즈의 다양화, 고도화 및 관련 IT기술의 발전을 기반으로 21세기의 문화와 사회를 대표하는 키워드로 부각되었다. 현재 우리 사회는 컨버전스의 진화 단계에 있어 두 번째 단계인 산업간 융합 단계, 즉 IT의 활용 범위가 확대되면서 방송, 통신, 금융, 자동차, 의료 등 다양한 산업 영역이 융합되는 단계에 있으며, 본 연구의 대상인 통신 방송 결합상품은 이런 산업간 융합의 대표적 사례이다. 본 연구는 통신 방송 결합상품의 수용과정에 기술혁신상품의 수용모델인 TAM을 적용하여 결합상품의 서비스특성이 소비자의 해당 상품 수용의도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 연구결과, 통 방 결합상품의 주요 서비스특성인 저렴한 비용(가격할인), 서비스 통합성, 선택가능성이 소비자의 지각된 유용성, 지각된 이용편의성 및 지각된 위험에 영향을 주어 소비자의 수용의도를 높일 수 있다는 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구결과는 통신 방송 결합상품의 수용과 확산을 위해서 가격할인 전략(요금전략)과 더불어 이용요금고지시스템, 납부시스템, 콜서비스시스템, 설치 및 A/S시스템의 통합과 같은 시스템적 통합(서비스전략), 그리고 이용자에게 선택권을 줄 수 있는 결합상품 및 관련 옵션들의 개발(상품전략)이 필요하다는 시사점을 제시하고 있다.

치과위생사의 이직의도와 직무만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Turnover Intention and Job Satisfaction of Dental Hygienists)

  • 기존 치과위생사 인력의 이직을 줄이고 유효 치과위생사 인력을 많이 활용할 수 있는 방안을 마련함과 동시에 경영주체들의 경영개선을 위한 노력에 일조가 될 수 있는 기초 자료로서 활용하고자 문헌과 자료를 조사하고 각 지역의 구강진료기관에 종사하는 치과위생사를 대상으로 2004년 9월부터 12월까지 약 4개월 동안 이직의도와 직무만족간의 관계에 대한 설문조사를 실시하여 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 직무만족도의 전체 평균은 $3.30{\pm}0.70$점으로 나타났으며, 각 영역별로 살펴보면 역할명료성요인이 $3.53{\pm}0.73$점으로 가장 높은 만족 수준을 보였고, 임금요인이 $3.14{\pm}0.70$점, 승진요인이 $3.18{\pm}0.80$점으로 낮은 만족 수준을 보였다. 2. 이직의도의 전체 평균은 $3.23{\pm}0.77$점으로 나타났으며, 일반적인 특성에 따른 이직의도 수준을 살펴본 결과, 연령별로는 21-25세가 가장 높은 이직의도 수준을 보였고(p < 0.001), 결혼여부별로는 미혼이 가장 높은 이직의도 수준을 보였으며(p < 0.001), 병원형태별로는 치과의원이 가장 높은 이직의도 수준을 보였다(p < 0.01). 근무경력별로는 1-3년이 가장 높은 이직의도 수준을 보였고(p < 0.001), 현 직장에서의 근무연수별로는 1-3년이 가장 높은 이직의도 수준을 보였으며(p < 0.001), 월 평균 급여별로는 130-160만원이 가장 높은 이직의도 수준을 보였다(p < 0.01). 3. 이직의도와 직무만족도와의 상관관계를 살펴본 결과, 이직의도와 직무만족도 요인은 모두 역 상관관계를 나타내고 있고, 특히 임금요인(r = -0.249, p < 0.01)과 상호관계요인(r = -0.218, p < 0.01)에서 비교적 높은 상관관계를 보였으며, 직무만족도에 관한 요인에서는 역할명료성 요인과 직무내용요인이 높은 상관관계를 보였고(r = 0.612, p < 0.01), 직무만족도 요인과는 직무내용요인이 높은 상관관계를 보였다(r = 0.759, p < 0.01).

국내 중국 유학생의 SNS 이용에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (The Study on the factor influencing to SNS use of Chinese students in Korea)

  • 본 논문은 최근 급증하고 있는 중국 유학생들의 SNS 이용 현상에 대해서 탐색하고자 하였다. SNS와 같은 커뮤니케이션 미디어는 그 활용 정도에 따라서 사회화와 깊은 관계가 있다. 따라서 국내 중국 유학생들의 SNS 이용 현황 및 그러한 SNS 이용에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대해서 분석해봄으로써 중국 유학생들의 스마트미디어 이용 트랜드와 한국 사회 정착의 관계를 유추해볼 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. 국내 중국 유학생의 SNS 이용에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 연구를 위해서 연구틀로 새로운 기술 수용 연구에 활용되어온 정보기술수용모델(TAM)을 적용하였다. TAM 이론에 근거해서 SNS의 기술적속성과 개인적속성 그리고 사회적속성을 독립변인으로 도출하였고, TAM에서 전통적으로 매개변인으로 입증된 지각된 용이성과 지각된 유용성을 매개변인으로 적용하였다. 연구 결과 몇몇 가설은 기존의 연구와 같은 결과를 보였으나, 서비스품질과 개인의 혁신성 등은 기존 이론과 달리 지각된 용이성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 SNS가 가지고 있는 미디어적 특성과 또 이미 어느정도는 익숙한 사회적 매체로 자리매김한 결과로 유추할 수 있겠다. 향후 보다 다양한 변인의 발굴과 전국 단위의 샘플링을 통해서 보다 객관적인 연구를 한다면 한국내 외국인들의 사회정착화와 커뮤니케이션 미디어의 상관관계를 고찰하는데 큰 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.
