In recent years, motivated by the emergence of ubiquitous computing technologies, a new class of networked robots, ubiquitous robots, has been introduced. The Ubiquitous Robotic Companion (URC) is our conceptual vision of ubiquitous service robots that provide users with the services they need, anytime and anywhere in ubiquitous computing environments. To realize the vision of URC, one of the essential requirements for robotic systems is to support ubiquity of services: that is, a robot service must be always available even though there are changes in the service environments. Specifically robotic systems need to be automatically interoperable with sensors and devices in current service environments, rather than statically preprogrammed for them. In this paper, the design and implementation of a semantic-based ubiquitous robotic space (SemanticURS) is presented. SemanticURS enables automated integration of networked robots into ubiquitous computing environments exploiting Semantic Web Services and AI-based planning technologies.

In this paper, design of framework architecture of pervasive computing system providing seamless inter space interactions between private and public smart spaces is presented. The seamless inter space interaction issues are related to establishing user's service environment by allocating relevant resources in a new location where there are no prior settings for the user or where there are current users already being served in the new location. In the realm of pervasive computing, we can have different types of smart spaces, offering proactive and intelligent services, which are islands of smart spaces independent from each other. As users move about, they will have to roam from private smart space to public smart space and vice versa. When they enter a new island of smart space, they will have to setup their devices and service manually to get the same or different services they had at the previous location. Users might be living in a non-pervasive computing environment because this manual operation is inappropriate to its generic features of proactive and intelligent services of pervasive computing. The framework architecture will provide seamless inter space interactions initiated by changes in users' location to acquire negotiations of resources for new and current residents regarding service provision with limited available networked devices.

늘어나는 교통문제 해결의 최적의 대안으로 지능형교통시스템(ITS: Intelligent Transportation System)이 연구되고 있으며 국내에서는 2001년 "국가 ITS 기본계획 21"이 수립되어 사업을 추진 중이다. 본 논문은 국내의 지능형 교통시스템을 이용한 실시간 도로 상황과 교통정보 서비스를 구현하고, IPv6를 이용하기 위해 시스템에 IPv4와 IPv6의 호환기술을 적용하였다.

최근 지능형자동차 기술은 IT와 융합되어 새로운 첨단 영상미디어 응용기술로 발전하며, 오픈소스 기반의 안드로이드를 탑제한 스마트폰 응용기술과 지능형자동차 개발이라는 새로운 패러다임으로 많은 연구개발이 이루어지고 있다. 안드로이드 기반의 지능형자동차 응용 기술은 이동수단의 한계를 넘어 다양한 멀티미디어 중심의 집합기술로 진화하고 있으며, 이러한 분산 환경에서 개발되어 있는 각각의 멀티미디어 플랫폼서비스와 애플리케이션이 개발되고 있음에 따라 다양한 서비스 기술을 통한 휴대 단말장치기술이 절대적으로 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 안드로이드 기반의 지능형 자동차 전용 미들웨어 설계를 통하여 단일형 시스템 스펙에 맞춰 SVC Codec과 실시간 동영상, 그래픽처리등 지능형자동차 미들웨어 SoC 설계를 통해 응용 연구를 실험 하였으며, 오픈플랫폼에서 제공되는 각종 단말서비스 기능들을 SoC 기반으로 새롭게 설계하고 표준화된 인터페이스 분석기법을 본 연구에서 실험을 통하여 입증하였다.

디지털 트랜스포메이션 시대를 맞이하여 기존 제도적${\cdot}$행정적 측면을 강조하던 전통적인 시각에서 벗어나, 기록관리 영역에 신기술이 적용되기 시작하였다. 이에 본 연구는 지능화 선진 기술을 적용한 국내외 기록관, 도서관, 박물관의 서비스 현황을 분석하여 그 차이를 규명한 다음, 분석 결과를 토대로 지능형 기록정보서비스 적용 방안을 제안하고자 한다. 조사 대상에 기록관 이외에 도서관, 박물관을 포함한 이유는 해당 기관들이 정보서비스 제공 기관으로서 하나의 범주로 포괄되기 때문이며, 이들 기관을 대상으로 문헌 연구 및 사례 연구를 수행하였다. 국내외 사례 비교를 통해 도출된 시사점을 바탕으로 기록관에 지능형 기록정보서비스 적용을 위한 선결 조건, 적용 시 문제점, 적용방향에 대하여 정리하였다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 변화된 전자기록환경에 적합한 지능형 기록정보서비스 모델 수립에 도움이 될 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 도시에서 효율적인 서비스 제공을 위한 서비스 맵을 연구하였고, 이를 통해 도시특성에 맞는 유비쿼터스 서비스를 구현할 수 있음을 본 논문을 통해 제안하고자 한다. 즉, 도시특성에 따라 지능적인 의사결정이 가능한 시스템이 될 것이며, 국가와 지방자치단체, 민간업자들 간의 로드분배 또한 본 시스템에 의해 의사결정이 가능할 것으로 기대한다.

Recently, individuals are interested in a variety of products and services based on artificial intelligence. Among those products and services, an intelligent personal assistants are attracting many attention from IT companies as a next generation platform. Thus, the main purpose of this study is to investigate effects of intelligent personal assistant's benefits on user's value formation and adoption behavior based on Value-based Adoption Model. In addition, the moderating effect of personal innovativeness is examined through empirical analysis. Based on the analysis with the data from actual users, the results show that usefulness, enjoyment, technicality and cost advantage have significant influences on perceived value and correspondingly have an effect on intention to adopt. Personal innovativeness is related to the relationship between perceived value and intention to adopt. These findings may provide important insights to the relevant field regarding the use and spread of intelligent personal assistants.

오늘날 가정은 더 이상 의식주를 해결하는 곳이 아니다. 이제 홈 네트워크는 예전 말이 되었고 가정 내 디지털 가전기기들은 OSGi 나 UPnP등이 확장되어 언제 어디서나 인터넷을 통해 자동 제어되고 있다. 본 연구는 OSGi나 UPnP 확장을 통해 디지털 홈 네트워크 미들웨어를 기본 제공하고 JESS 추론 엔진을 통해 스마트 홈 네트워크를 구성한다. 그리고 휴대용 심전도, 혈압, 맥박, 체온 등의 생체 신호 측정 센서를 통하여 생체 인식 기반 스마트 홈 미들웨어를 제공하여, 사용자가 집에서 머무르는 동안 사용자와 근접하여 사용자가 요구하는 홈 서비스를 예측하여 자동으로 제공해 주며, 제공된 홈 서비스가 사용자에게 미치는 스트레스를 분석하여 사용자가 가장 편안하게 느끼는 홈 서비스를 추천하고 사용자의 건강 상태를 실시간으로 모니터링하여 사용자의 건강 상태가 나빠지면 자동으로 사용자, 가족 그리고 의사에게 자동으로 알려주는 시스템을 구축한다.

본 연구는 가상현실(VR)과 관련된 기술 및 콘텐츠를 도서관서비스에 접목하여 활용하는 것에 대한 대학생들의 인식정도와 요구사항을 조사하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 가상현실 기술과 콘텐츠를 활용한 도서관서비스를 개발하기 위한 전단계 연구과정으로, 이 연구는 차세대 지능정보기술에 대한 기본 개념과 종류들을 정리하여 이해하고 현재 국내외 도서관에서의 적용 사례들을 조사한 관련 선행연구들을 분석하였다. 이 선행연구 분석내용들을 바탕으로 현 대학생 563명을 대상으로 설문지법을 통해 가상현실 기술에 대한 인식과 요구사항을 수집하고 분석하였다. 조사 결과가 시사하는 바를 분석하고 이에 따라 가상현실 기술 및 콘텐츠를 도서관서비스에 적용할 때 유의해야 할 사항과 이를 도서관 현장에서 준비하고 고려해야 할 내용과 전략들을 제언하였다.
