Identification of Tracking Conduct Wiring Using Neural Networks (인공신경망을 이용한 전기배선의 트랙킹 식별에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, a method which cna detect tracking caused by the insulation deterioration of conduct wiring, is proposed. To investigate it, we analyzed the harmonics of each load current waveform and those of tracking current waveform with FFT. The computer which take experiment data is learned by neural network algorithm, which has recently been used for the load recognition. The proposed metod in our study can be applied to the development of several measuring equipments such as hotline insulation tester, cna earch tester for the detection of tracking under hot-line state, Furthermore, it can substitutes molded case circuit breaker, fuse, and so on.

  • In this paper, we investigate the issues on the design and implementation of tele-operation system based on the haptic interface. Here, the 3-DOF haptic device and the X-Y-Z stage are employed as master controller and slave system respectively. For this master-slave system, the force feedback algorithm, the modeling of virtual environments and the control method of X-Y-Z stage are presented. In this paper, internet network is used for data communication between master and slave. We construct virtual environment of the real convex surface from the force-feedback in controlling the X-Y-Z stage and measuring the force applied by the 3-DOF haptic device.

  • Recently, the vehicle engine requried precision control of Air-Fuel rate and rigid restriction of exhaust gas. Therefore, we demanded excellent measuring equipment so as to improve of engine performance. Specially, throttle valve control is very important part in the engine control, because structure of engine dynamometer system is very important part in the engine control, because structure of engine dynamometer system is very complicate and it has nonlinear elements which is influenced of disturbance about vibration, a heat, a cooling, energy loss so on. In this study, we propose the method that the control technique using Fuzzy Look-up table and we obtained the satisfying result from realized the control system.

  • To prevent accidents caused by changes in the surrounding environment or other factors, various protection facilities are installed at the photovoltaic connection module. The main causes of fire are sparks due to foreign substances inside the photovoltaic connection module through high temperature rise and dew condensation in the photovoltaic connection module, and fire due to heat from the power diode. The proposed method can predict the fire by measuring flame, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, temperature, humidity, input voltage, and current on the photovoltaic connection module, and when the fire conditions are reached, fire alarm and power off can be sent to managers and users in real time to prevent fire in advance.

  • In this paper, we show how to design based on solving Sudoku problem that is one of the NP-complete problems like Go. We show how to use greedy method which can minimize depth based on tree expansion and how to apply heuristic algorithm for pruning unnecessary branches. As a result of measuring the performance of the proposed method for solving of Sudoku problems, this method can reduce the number of function call required for solving compared with the method of heuristic algorithm or recursive method, also this method is able to reduce the 46~64 depth rather than simply expanding the tree and is able to pruning unnecessary branches. Therefore, we could see that it can reduce the number of leaf nodes required for the calculation to 6 to 34.

  • In this paper, describes ground detection method for removal earth field of magnet guidance system Magnetic guidance system is magnetic markers are installed just under the surface of roadway pavement and the magnetic fields generated these markers are detected by magnetic field sensor mounted of vehicles. vehicle is know lot lateral distance using magnetic field. But sensor is together measuring the magnetic field and earth field. It is operate error. Thus in this paper, proposed new method removing earth field or development experiment device via show the for practical and excellence.

  • The most effective material in the shape memory alloy(SMA) is the TiNi alloy, because its shape recovery characteristics are very excellent. We molded the composite material with shape memory function. The fiber of it is $Ti_{50}-Ni_{50}$ shape memory alloy and matrix of it is epoxy resin(Araldite B41, Hardner HT903. Ciba Geigy), its adhesive and optical sensitivity are very excellent. It was assured that the composite material could be used as model material of photoelastic experiment for intelligent materials or structures. In this research, the composite material with shape memory function is used as model material of photoelastic experiment. Photoelastic experimental hybrid method is developed in this research, it is assured that it is useful on the obtaining stress intensity factor and the separation of stress components from only isochromatic data. The measuring method of stress intensity factor of intelligent material by photoelastic experiment is introduced. In the mode I state, we can know that stress intensity factors are decreased more than 50% of stress intensity factor of room temperature when temperature of fiber is greater than 4$0^{\circ}C$, prestrain greater than 5% and fiber volume ratio greater than 0.42% and that stress intensity factors are decreased by 100% when fiber volume ratio is greater than 0.84%, prestrain greater than 5% and temperature greater than 60 $^{\circ}C$.

Damage Monitoring of CP-GFRP/GFRP Composites by Measuring Electrical Resistance

  • It is necessary to develop new methods to prevent catastrophic failure of structural material in order to avoid accidents and conserve natural and energy resources. Design of intelligent materials with a self-diagnosing function to prevent fatal fracture of structural materials was achieved by smart composites consisting of carbon fiber tows or carbon powders with a small value of ultimate elongation and glass fiber tows with a large value of ultimate elongation. The changes in electrical resistance of CF-GFRP/GFRP (carbon fiber and glass fiber-reinforced plastics/glass fiber-reinforced plastics) composites increased abruptly with increasing strain, and a tremendous change was seen at the transition point where carbon fiber tows were broken. Therefore, the composites were not to monitor damage from the early stage. On the other hand, the change in electrical resistance of CP-GFRP/GFRP (carbon powder dispersed in glass fiber-reinforced plastics/glass fiber-reinforced plastics) composites increased almost linearly in proportion to strain. CP-GFRP/GFRP composites are superior to CF-GFRP/GFRP composites in terms of their capability to monitor damage by measuring change in electrical resistance from the early stage of damage. However, the former was inferior to the latter as an application because of the difficulties of mass production and high cost. A method based on monitoring damage by measuring changes in the electrical resistance of structural materials is promising for improved reliability of the material.

  • Clustering is a process of dividing similar data objects in data set into clusters and acquiring meaningful information in the data. The main issues related to clustering are the effective clustering of high dimensional data and optimization. This study proposed a method of measuring similarity based on SVM and a new method of calculating the number of clusters in an efficient way. The high dimensional data are mapped to Feature Space ones using kernel functions and then similarity between neighboring clusters is measured. As for created clusters, the desired number of clusters can be got using the value of similarity measured and the value of Δd. In order to verify the proposed methods, the author used data of six UCI Machine Learning Repositories and obtained the presented number of clusters as well as improved cohesiveness compared to the results of previous researches.

  • Lots of bridge structure generated the change of outward formation according to durability capability and decrepitude by long use. Especially, in case of the typhoon, snowing and earthquake is going to make rapidly more worse formation about the old structural facilitys. Also, outward formation by irregular and micro-distortion in bridge structure could not easily checked by normal diagnostics method. As a result, performance-capability of structure facility is getting to make a decline in standard of structure performance. Recently, real-time monitoring technology by wireless environment go into the study of irregular movement for structure facility. This paper presents the development of sensor to displacement checking about bridge structure. Sensing method of developed sensor put bring into the gyroscope technology using the acceleration speed and angular acceleration speed. This paper also will simulated to verified the monitoring capability of developed sensor against random vibration, frequency and distortion in simulated equipment.
