본 연구는 착용성, 이동성, 주변 맥락과의 지속적인 관계 형성을 특징으로 하는 지능형 자켓을 디자인 할 때 사용성에 대한 기준을 제시해주기 위한 선행 연구로 실시되었다. 이를 위해 사용자 관점에서 중요하게 고려해야 할 요소들이 무엇인지 파악하고자 하였다. 먼저, 이러한 논리의 타당성을 살펴보기 위하여 전문가 평가를 실시하였다. 그 결과 지능형 자켓은 기존의 컴퓨터 인터페이스와는 차별화 되므로 사용성 평가시 그 범주를 새롭게 구성하는 것이 필요하다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 다음으로 사용자 그룹 인터뷰를 실시하였으며 인터뷰 참가자 집단은 도전감(challenge)이라는 준거로 신기술을 받아들이는 혁신성, 이를 받아들이는 태도에 따라 얼리 어댑터 (early adapter)와 래가드(laggard) 두 그룹으로 나눌 수 있었다. 각각의 그룹에서 중요하게 생각하는 지능형 자켓의 사용성 평가 요소는 서로 다르게 나타났다. 얼리 어댑터의 경우 컴퓨터의 연장선상에서 기능적 요소를 중요하게 생각하였고, 래가드의 경우 옷의 연장선상에서 디자인, 심리적 부담 요소를 보다 더 중요하게 생각하는 것으로 나타났다.

본 연구는 유비쿼터스 환경에 적합한 시나리오를 기반으로 한 인텔리전트 의류의 어플리케이션을 개발하고 이를 실제 작동되는 디자인 및 구현을 목적으로 하였다. 스키장 응급구조 대원용 도우미 기능을 갖춘 인텔리전트 의류인 '패트롤 재킷'의 응용 시나리오를 개발하고, 이에 적합한 디자인을 선정하고 이를 실제로 구동 가능하도록 제작하였다. 이를 위하여, 전자/이미지 태그 기술 중 하나인 칼라 코드를 응용한 애플리케이션을 도출하고 이를 기반으로 컨셉 디자인과 실물 모델을 개발한 후 평가 및 수정 단계를 거쳐 최종 디자인 모형을 완성하였다. 이러한 일련의 과정을 거쳐 일상적인 외관의 인텔리전트 의류인 '패트롤 재킷'의 디자인 모형을 개발하였다.

In this paper, we address a new fast DCT-II/DFT/HWT hybrid transform architecture for digital video and fusion mobile handsets based on Jacket-like sparse matrix decomposition. This fast hybrid architecture is consist of source coding standard as MPEG-4, JPEG 2000 and digital filtering discrete Fourier transform, and has two operations: one is block-wise inverse Jacket matrix (BIJM) for DCT-II, and the other is element-wise inverse Jacket matrix (EIJM) for DFT/HWT. They have similar recursive computational fashion, which mean all of them can be decomposed to Kronecker products of an identity Hadamard matrix and a successively lower order sparse matrix. Based on this trait, we can develop a single chip of fast hybrid algorithm architecture for intelligent mobile handsets.

This study reports on the development of intelligent clothing using a shape memory alloy (SMA) that forms a still air layer and provides thermal insulation depending on the environment temperature. SMA springs were prepared with Nitinol and have an original length of 6mm and a latent length of 20mm with a response temperature of $24.5^{\circ}C$. Hysteresis was evaluated at a temperature between $0^{\circ}C$ and $40^{\circ}C$. An experimental outdoor jacket that was attached with 30 springs was compared with a commercial jacket in terms of the microclimate temperature, humidity, and comfort properties by human subject tests in the microclimate chamber set at $5{\pm}0.5^{\circ}C$. The results showed that the microclimate temperature of SMA embedded clothing system from the wear trials was higher than the commercial ones during the rest period after exercise, especially on the skin side. In addition the thermal, humidity, and comfort sensations of SMA embedded clothing were better than the commercial ones.

In this paper, we describe the fabrication process and the characteristics of polarization maintaining photonic crystal fibers (PM-PCFs). The PM-PCF is fabricated by stack-and-draw method, i.e., stacking silica capillary tubes (making a PM-PCF preform) and drawing to optical fiber. Firstly, a PM-PCF preform is formed by stacking two kinds of capillary tubes around a solid silica rod and jacketing these stacked tubes with an outer silica tube (out-jacket tube). Later, the desired preform is drawn to a fiber in a high temperature drawing tower. We also compare the polarization properties such as polarization dependent loss, birefringence, and differential group delay of the fabricated PM-PCF with those of the conventional PANDA PM fiber.

본 연구에서는 사용자 중심의 지능형 자켓을 디자인하고 평가하는 인구의 첫 단계로 사용자 요구 분석을 실시하였다. 인지 지능형 자켓에 대한 사용자들의 태도 및 요구를 파악하는 사용자 그룹 인터뷰가 실시되었다. 인터뷰 참가자 집단은 도전감(challenge)을 준거로 신기술을 받아들이는 태도에 따라 얼리어댑터(early adaptor)와 래가드(laggard)로 나뉘어 졌으며 각각의 그룹에서 중요하게 생각하는 지능형 자켓의 중요 요소는 서로 다르게 나타났다. 얼리 어댑터의 경우 컴퓨터의 연장선상에서 기능적 요소를 중요하게 생각하였고, 래가드의 경우 옷의 연장선상에서 심미성과 즐거움의 요소를 보다 더 중요하게 생각하는 것으로 나타났다. 지능형 자켓의 초기 디자인 컨셉 방향은 얼리 어댑터와 래가드가 요구하는 각각의 요소에 대응하는 주제로 건강과 오락을 선정한 후, 이 주제에 맞는 구체적인 어플리케이션 아이디어를 사용자 인터뷰 및 아이디어 서술을 통해 수집하였다. 건강과 관련해서는 사람의 생체신호를 체크하는 기능이 운동복 및 잠옷의 결합된 형태로, 오락의 관련해서는 사람의 동작이나 자세를 교정하는 기능이 운동복 및 잠옷과 결합된 형태로 디자인된 지능형 자켓에 대한 요구가 수집되었다.

The purpose of this thesis is to review the costume and symbolism of the English novelist Jane Austen's novel "Emma" which was produced as a movie in 1996. The novel "Emma" 's periodical background is from 1814 to 1815 in neo-classical age of costume. The English woman's costumes in 1810 were high-waisted empire style dress and redingote, pelisse, spencer jacket for going out. Man's costumes were frock coat, tail coat, shirts, vest and bottoms were breeches, pantaloons and trousers. In this literature, Harriet's naive and immature image was shown in the name of 'pretty'. Elegant and graceful way of talking and attitude was expressed in the 'beauty' of Emma. The costume is symbolically expressing the character's personality ; white is for Emma's intelligent and elegant image, pastor Elton's black suit symbolized his profession and ambitions for success. The analysis of the costumes from the movie "Emma" is following ; women wore empire dress and outer garment, redingote and spencer jacket. The fabrics were muslin, gauze, satin, lace and velvet. Men's costume were frock coat, tail coat with the shirts, vest, and pantaloons. The fabric was brown, black and dark color of wool. With an analysis of the movie "Emma", I would like to present '99 S/S collection, targeted for 21-25 aged woman by use of Emma's elegant and Harriet's pretty image as a main subject. As a second subject, I have chosen neo romantic memory, sophisticate feminine and pretty Harriet.

The purposes of this study were 1) to investigate school uniform image preferences and the uniform modifications of male and female high school students, and 2) to find the differences between male and female students in the uniform image preferences and uniform modifications. The subjects used for the study were 195 male and 201 female high school students. The uniform image preferences consisted of three factors: comfortable & simple, unique & individual, and intelligent & classic. The uniform modifications were measured by the modifications in jacket width, sleeve length, shoulder width, slacks(skirt) length, slacks(skirt) width, and slacks(skirt) waist length. The results showed that male and female students were different in regard to uniform image preference; male students preferred unique image than did female students in their school uniforms. In addition, male and female students differed concerning uniform modifications. Generally, female students modified uniforms more than did male students. Finally, the study compared male and female students in regard to the relationships between uniform image preferences and the uniform modifications. For male and female students, the unique image preference was significantly related to the modifications in different parts of uniform.
